Oh go on then....there will be just static things to get hung up on for now. Later perhaps will look into something.

          They look menacing!

Just sent off my chassis design to PinPoint, glad my pile o' bits will finally be made into a robot!

you still working on Spinza or are you making something different now?

Spinza's design was flawed from the start so making a SpinzaMk2. Still based around a large spinning bar though. Spinza's Ti chassis is just collecting dust.

fair enough, good luck with the build i did like the shape of spinza though, was unique :P

Cheers! I liked the idea in principle (invertible undercutter) but it was a bit beyond me to make unfortunately. Mk2 is another invertible spinning bar, but a bit simpler.

Yeh I hate robots looking the same but it seemed the most logical way to house the big bar. Main difference is Spinza has big wheels and lots of ground clearance.
When I started making it from Blue and Black HDPE it looked almost exactly like Last Rites only with wheels on the inside.

Sounds good, hopefully it will perform as well as last rites haha

That would be nice! The bar weighs a good 350g so it's going to fly!

that sounds about right :P I'm planning a touro-inspired drum spinner, the aluminium drum i got weighs 552 grams on its own though so will have to lose some weight on that

If you are worried about copying Last Rites directly, maybe think of improvements you could make, such as wheelguards, a rear wedge etc?
That drum spinner sounds brilliant! I'd be interested to see some designs or CAD's of that (or indeed any beetleweights so far)
                                Cheers. Harry.
