. This time, Martyn€™s manoeuvres its way BETWEEN his two opponents, underneath the point where the axes hang over, and fires his flipper. The impact frees the two axebots from each other€™s clutches, but that€™s not exactly what Wind Chaser came for. With some quick turning Martyn manages to get his machine underneath the bot who happens to be closest to the arena wall, Malaria! Malaria is helplessly slammed against that wall, where Martyn relentlessly fires his LEM-powered flipping arm! Alex looks on in awe, when the flipping arm, combined with the sheer force of Wind Chaser€™s drive, proves to be enough to lever his robot against the arena wall, and eventually, over it!
) and steers away from Cyberdemon. Cyberdemon gives chase, as well controlled as possible of course, but doesn€™t really manage to get a good shot in. Chris decides it€™s time to spice things up a bit, and turns his machine around, making his axe point in Cyberdemon€™s direction. Cyberdemon immediately backs off, but Chris seemingly had no intentions in firing his axe at all, at that lethal body of Cyberdemon. Basically, with the status quo still unchanged, Cyberdemon and Axe-O-Lotl are driving circles around each other, exploring the enemy€¦ This clearly isn€™t what the crowd wants, as the entire audience starts booing at today€™s competitors. As a direct result, Chris decides to drive away from Cyberdemon€¦ Tony wonders what Chris is up to, but not for long as Chris rams his box into the pit release button! The pit descends, and Axe-O-Lotl comes in again. Cyberdemon comes in too, but dodges away a bit when Tony discovers that Axe-O-Lotl DOES fire his axe this time. The axe JUST nudges Cyberdemon€™s shell, ticking Cyberdemon out of his direction a bit, and INTO the direction of Axe-O-Lotl! In fact, Cyberdemon nudges his opponent€™s aluminium right-handed side plate€¦ CRASH! The aluminium doesn€™t stand up against the destructive force of Cyberdemon, and the entire side plate comes off! Chris tries moving away, but only his two left-handed wheels are moving now! Cyberdemon keeps a safe distance from Axe-O-Lotl now, and sees what€™s gonna happen next. Axe-O-Lotl moving in circles, the judges start counting€¦ 1€¦ 2€¦ 3€¦ 4€¦ 5€¦ 6€¦ 7€¦ 8€¦ 9€¦ 10€¦
! Martyn never seems to give up his attempts to safely ram Psyclonised, nor does Andy give up his ever so dangerous blows. Wind Chaser comes steaming in again, as does Psyclonised. The two machines almost ram each other again, but Martyn swiftly activates his flipper! CLANG! We heard this sound before, when Slammer tried to flip Psyclonised while being underneath its cage. This time however, the result is slightly different. The cage has so bloody much kinetic energy stored in it that the interference of Wind Chaser€™s flipping arm doesn€™t stop it. Instead, when before mentioned cage meets the arm, the arm bends quite a bit, and the cage flies straight over it! In fact the ring-spinner is now doing a Mauler-style dance. Martyn seizes his chance, retracts his bend flipping arm as far as physically possible (since it can€™t retract fully given the fact it€™s bend), and box-rushes Psyclonised, but the dancing machine again flies over the wedge instead of staying on it, and again ends up on its 4 wheels behind Martyn€™s rambot. Our two vapourboteers have been in this position before and Andy gradually spins up his ring up to feel speed again, while Martyn tries to get away from there ASAP. Fully spun up, Psyclonised manages to give the accelerating machine a good blow against its back! Wind Chaser still drives away, but now slowly decelerates! That last hit against its back seemingly hammered something inside Wind Chaser out of position! In fact, Wind Chaser isn€™t moving at all at the moment, as observed by the judges, who start counting€¦ 1€¦ 2€¦ 3€¦ 4€¦ 5€¦ 6€¦ 7€¦ 8€¦ 9€¦ 10€¦
