    Finishing off the final Round 1 Semi fight for this tournament!

    Ringwraith vs. The Crashing Bore 2

    Roboteers, stand by...

    House robots...heh heh. Uh...which ones shall I choose...oh to hell with it. You'll see them in the battle! :P

    Both robots fly straight at each other! And within a second or two, they've met each other, with a massive collision that is! And Ringwraith is sent flying backwards from the force generated by his own hit, as sparky fly! The oldest vapour going, though, seems to be just fine, as the 8mm Hardox wedge has absolutely no damage done to it! Richard decides that a frontal assault may not be the best course of action and decides to go around to the rear of The Crashing Bore 2. Frank turns his machine accordingly...or tries to, but what a horrible turning! The robot is just too thin to spin on the spot, at least quickly! And I think Richie knows it! Ringwraith outpaces The Crashing Bore 2 and lands a solid blow on the corner of the left side and rear skirts, buckling the side one and ripping the rear one straight off! This unfortunately stops Ringwraith, allowing Frank to shove Ringwraith across the arena! They reach Renegade's CPZ and the house robot tries to grapple hold of the axlebot, but the awkward shape of the drum means the house robot can't grab it! The axe lets fly, though, and damages the Duralumin that composes the drum! The Crashing Bore keeps him there and now Renegade completely demolishes the area of the drum he's hitting!!! What a way to go! As The Crashing Bore backs off and Ringwraith escapes, there is obviously no life left in the drum after that! So...Richard I think is out of luck! Frank knows it too, and decides to have some fun! As Ringwraith heads for the pit release, The Crashing Bore intercepts him and getting under snaps the trap, snaring him and bringing him over to King Leer's CPZ! WHACK WHACK WHACK go the crescents...actually further damaging the drum as well as surely giving the insides a good rattling! With the full body drum pinned, Frank now slams the trap down on Ringwraith over and over again, and the Velociraptor machine is faltering! At one point Frank gets one of the wheels, and punctures it! Stuck together, The Crashing Bore drags Ringwraith away from the CPZ and heads for a different area of the arena - the side wall, where one of the four arena Discs of Death is placed! Frank flings Richard into it, and THAT'S SURELY DONE IT! The Crashing Bore has been dislodged from the wheel of Ringwraith, but the wheel has been dislodged from Ringwraith itself, smacking The Watcher directly in the head during its flight!

    Well I'd say that's game, as Ringwraith moves about lamely in a circle, but Frank is determined to do to Ringwraith what Innis couldn't do to Rolling Pin FTW in the FWs, and get the other wheel off! The Crashing Bore zooms back in and grasps the ruined drum of Ringwraith, but the referee shunts him to tell Frank to let him do his job! There's a nah from the control booth - I say! Frank is feeling rebellious today! He runs AWAY from the referee and towards the other Disc of Death across the arena! But he travels over the saws and gets nailed! BZZT! Forgetful for a second in his current state, Frank nonetheless manages to haul Ringwraith's carcass over to the hazard...but it doesn't quite get the wheel off, though shredding through it like a hot knife through butter! But it has stopped Ringwraith from moving, and now The Crashing Bore proceeds to hammer that wheel with the trap as The Watcher manages to catch up! AND THERE IT GOES! Ringwraith is now wheel-less! And hopeless - no mobility, no weapon, no kidding! The Watcher agrees!

    Having opened the pit, Renegade nonetheless thinks there's nothing more to do, and so scoops up the ruined Ringwraith and shoves him down the pit!

    CEASE!

    Only a wraith remains of the hopes of Team Velociraptor, as Ringwraith fades back into the shadows!
    The Crashing Bore 2 advances to the next round!!

      Great fights as ever Kody, even if the way the result was achieved was rather unexpected XD

      Heroin vs. The Unnamed Feeling

      My strategy here involves starting the fight inverted. By my rough calculations, the disc should then hit the Feeling on its 5mm polycarbonate panels - although the shape itself is good for deflecting and limiting the damage of spinners, the triangle points should go into the polycarbonate very easily. Running upside down I also have the advantage of 2WD, which should hopefully enable me to avoid the lifting arm and with its small wheels geared for a 20mph top speed, at 4WD I'd have thought Andy would find it a bit more difficult to turn. Generally, though, just avoid the lifting arm and arena hazards and keep hitting it on the sides and hopefully get through the polycarbonate to catch the edges of the titanium body - if the opportunity arises, fully lower the rear lifter and use it as a clamper to grapple Feeling from *the sides only* and push it into things.

        Oh, oh, I'll post some tictacs!
        Mobile Failure vs. The Crashing Bore 2

        For starts, I don't even know what the speed of it is, I'll ASSUME it's close to what Failure goes, though. Which means it will neither catch me or I catch it easily.
        Go for the sides as much as possible, it's width is silly. And if I know anything (and I don't, really), that means TCB2's manoverability is going to blow, so going for sides is not difficult. If I get it on my wedgey bit, push it around and axe as nessicary. Bump it into things like house bots or pits or other fun things because everyone likes a good show!

        If it comes at me head on, axe it repeatedly, and catch it on wedge, then follow as above, if possible. And if it doesn't, run away or.... yea. XD

          Roboteers, stand by...

          Uh oh...Sir Killalot's in the arena! Joining him is a guest heavyweight from my squad, Killobite Sigma!

          For this match Heroin's upside-down, nobody is sure if that's a good idea, but the blade is spinning up okay. The Unnamed Feeling, however, is halfway across the arena already... but Heroin manages to dodge his linear motion, and carve some nasty scars into the 5mm titanium edges on the side there, even slashing into the 5mm polycarbonate panels and tearing them as though they were paper! It doesn't seem to have hindered The Unnamed Feeling's mobility or drivetrain though, and so Andy manages to turn his machine around and catch the side of Heroin, sliding underneath and lifting it over! Now right-side-up, Heroin scoots away, Joey unable to hit the polycarb panels now! The Metallica bot is after him though...but the top speed of The Unnamed Feeling is hindering his acceleration a bit and so Heroin manages to sneak away and spin the blade up again...perfect time for carnage! Joey dekes around another charge and his robot's blade goes to town again on that side, carving more scars and even getting through the 5mm titanium this time! The Unnamed Feeling tries to back away out of trouble but Heroin keeps with him and this time manages to tear off one of the front panels completely, sending Andy's MW skidding! Such fracture action already! There is desperation from the Jackson camp as their robot is on the ropes, but Heroin is completely relentless and chases it down! What a display! Sparks fly and so does the armour panelling of The Unnamed Feeling as the front corner is completely ripped wide open and massive gashes are left further along the side...the audience is loving this destruction! But The Unnamed Feeling finally manages to get the arm under Heroin again, and lifts it up by its front end...shoving it all the way across the arena towards Killobite's CPZ! Oh no! The guest HB's massive claw lowers as Heroin is wedged onto the forks, and...OUCH! Right down into the armour of Heroin, just missing the flywheel! Andy is a bit relieved now and heads for the pit release button, as Killobite hauls Heroin off to the arena saws, and...BZZT! Oooh...those sparks seem to outdo the previous ones Heroin made himself, but unlike before, the saws themselves cause miniscule harm...but Killobite keeps him there. In vain, it seems, for the saws, even after 5 continuous showers of sparks, have done very very little to the armour! The Unnamed Feeling now comes back for Heroin...as Killobite lets go. But no, Heroin seems to be alright. As The Unnamed Feeling hits the side of Heroin, the slippery spinner is spinning up and turns aside...it gives a weak glancing blow to the undamaged side of TUF, and get away before Andy can keep him in check.

          A quick revving up later and Heroin turns back towards a charging TUF, but doesn't manage to evade it in time. This, however, means Joey catches the damaged front edge and tears it almost into the way of the lifting arm, but not quite! Heroin is then consequentially lifted and slammed into the arena wall! Unfortunately Heroin is upside-down again, precisely what Joey wanted! Heroin more skilfully dodges another TUF charge, and buries the spinning blade into the already mutilated side armour, and panels fly off like no tomorrow! At one point Heroin slashes right into the chassis of The Unnamed Feeling, but this sends him - WHOA! He's on the edge of the pit!!! Balanced completely on it!!! Oh no!!! And...The Unnamed Feeling is immobile! Well what happens now? Surely if Heroin tries to move, he'll fall into the pit! And The Unnamed Feeling...can't, seemingly! So...
          1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!

          CEASE!

          To the judges we go!

            Bad luck Andy, w00t for the win ^^ now...late night tactics ahoy! XD

            Gabriel IV vs. Wedge Devolution

            We have more or less the same speed, give or take a few miles an hour, but there's no obligation for me to go at my maximum speed (and I shaln't be doing most of the time for more control) and crucially my 2WD to his 4WD should mean I get better turning. Tactics...erm...avoid the front, get under the sides and *possibly* the front corners with my pointed nose, and flip it down the pit or into a nasty looking damaging house robot. Try and get the fight over with quickly, and keep myself out of too much danger in the process.

              Roboteers, stand by...

              Here comes the pain, in the form of Growler and Asterix Anarchius!

              And there's the start...and Tracy's own start is much more fluid than Frank's, with Mobile Failure gunning towards the sides of The Crashing Bore 2, and The Crashing Bore unable to turn quickly enough! But we already have an issue in the Team Alt camp as Mobile Failure instantly slides up the side skirt! Frank tries to turn again, but Mobile Failure is exerting too much pressure on the sides for The Crashing Bore to swing around properly even if he didn't have turning problems! Perceiving this quickly, Tracy proceeds to give The Crashing Bore as many axe blows as she possibly can! However, all of the blows land on the 8mm Hardox wedge! Counted in all, those are 7 straight blows! ...and only a small dent is seen in the armour! Frank seems to be pleased about this, but isn't pleased at the position he's in, as Mobile Failure is not letting go of the side...until then! A nice little twist sees The Crashing Bore free of Mobile Failure...but unfortunately now has the rear facing Mobile Failure! Although Tracy still can't get under the skirt it seems, as Mobile Failure rides it up and into the rear...The Crashing Bore proceeds to shove Mobile Failure backwards towards the wall, as Tracy lets the fly some more...4 straight blows on the 3.2mm Hardox and this has made a lot more of a mark! The top's all bashed in! It doesn't seem to have stopped The Crashing Bore's mobility, though, but the fifth blow lands directly on the rear skirt as The Crashing Bore tries to turn again, crumpling it! Mobile Failure doesn't let The Crashing Bore turn all the way though and drives at The Crashing Bore, up the side skirt and slamming into the side with another flurry of vicious axe blows, but they land again on the front wedge and though they make more of an impression than before, it is not stopping Frank...MF's constant pushing, however, is! And the damage will count in a judges decision! Frank simply cannot get enough force to pull away from Tracy's constant pushing! The axe blows seem to cease, however...could the weapon be immobilized? OH! They've gone over one of the arena spikes! Both of them! And both have been flipped over! Now Mobile Failure rights itself, but just barely! The Crashing Bore, ooooooh...trying to self-right...the trap was at the back, do they have enough leverage - ah, there they go! And a little too late, boys, Mobile Failure's found the crumpled rear end and is under it! The blows start again, as the axe seems to have found renewed power! And the top of The Crashing Bore is now suffering, punctures abroad! Off they go...back to the arena spike! The Crashing Bore is popped up, but not over! And ironically that's freed The Crashing Bore from the wedge of Mobile Failure as it...tries to turn around again, ah...and does so! The spike itself stopped Tracy from moving in closer! A panicked Mobile Failure now moves away, but The Crashing Bore is in hot pursuit! And eventually catches up, sliding the wedge under and snapping the trap! Ouch! And the wedge now comes up to tighten the grip...as does the drill! Oh dear!

              Securely fastening its weaponry onto Mobile Failure, The Crashing Bore is headed for the pit release button! But that's not a fate Tracy would like to partake in, and Mobile Failure goes wild with the axe, desperately trying to free itself! It certainly is bodgering The Crashing Bore's manoeuvring, as every axe swing slows it down - wait, the grip is indeed loosening! But Frank is well aware and now lowers the wedge and frees the trap...to shove Mobile Failure further up onto it! And as they crash into the button...Mobile Failure drives backwards over the wedge of Frank's machine! Or at least has one set of wheels on the wedge doing so...as it results in Mobile Failure driving in an arc off the side of the wedge and getting nailed by the suddenly springing trap...which ISN'T run on a spring! Speaking of springs, the axe fires, springing Mobile Failure off the wall, into the side of The Crashing Bore, and...stuck there! Frank turns The Crashing Bore again, and manages to wedge Mobile Failure slightly, but another good axe blow is enough to separate the two and Mobile Failure backs out of danger! An incensed Frank is after it, but Tracy plays hard to get again, sweeping off to the side, and the oldest vapourbot's turning troubles plague him again! The turning circle is too much, and Tracy easily keeps to the side...but she's not content with that! Gunning for the rear, however, she meets the other side when Frank anticipates this, and has to settle for pushing again! Frank doesn't like the pushing game, and tries to turn once more...and Tracy turns around as well, keeping in line with the other side again! Frank is doing all he can, but Mobile Failure is really outmanoeuvring The Crashing Bore in this fight AND THERE WE ARE! The purple axebot is back at the rear! Any spin-outs are quickly denied as the Canadian robot flies straight under the rear and delivers another frenzied axe attaxe! They're not exactly near the pit here, though, but there's always something else - Mobile Failure flies towards one of the Discs of Death!

              CRASH!!!

              And that collision has dug a dent deeper in that 8mm Hardox wedge than all of Mobile Failure's hits on it! But that's a trifle compared to the hell beaten into The Crashing Bore's top armour, which looks more like a strainer than actual top armour now! And still the axe blows rain down...halting one most vicious pummelling, Mobile Failure now tries to drag The Crashing Bore backwards across the arena, but the axe grip isn't the greatest, m'afraid, and Frank sees his bot fall off the wedge. He turns The Crashing Bore around to get the wedge in again...no he doesn't? Ah, I smell something putrid in the Team Bored camp! You can see it in Frank's face, the grimness of the situation, as he is flicking the controls but is out of luck as there is no response! And it looks like Team Bored's bread'n'butter bot is beaten! And there's really no more to be said...but Tracy doesn't want Frank to suffer anymore! In goes Mobile Failure towards the side of The Crashing Bore; with no resistance in Frank's mousetrap's drivetrain, the once-Patricia-now-Brooks bot now easily shoves it across the arena towards the big black hole! But an obstacle greets them in the way of The Watcher! Evidently the refbot wants his regular satiety of count-outs! And he's raring to get 'em, as Tracy finds out; Mobile Failure tries to turn aside but The Watcher moves in the way! And begins counting the Team Bored bot out!
              1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!

              And the house robots want their fun too! Asterix absolutely blazes out of his spot and crashes into Mobile Failure before it can even react, making Tracy drop The Crashing Bore, and then slams it all the way across the arena! Growler intercepts, hammering The Crashing Bore in the side and sending it careening across the arena out of Asterix's path! And what has entered Asterix's path is an extremely angry purple robot; it wedges Asterix from the side and slams the axe down! And the robo-gaul is punctured, its armour insufficient to withstand the godly blow! It takes a few seconds for Growler to notice, but by the time he does, Mobile Failure's near the pit! And then Asterix is in it, humiliated once more as Growler storms into the side of Mobile Failure and mashes it against the arena wall, too late!

              CEASE!

              It's eternal rest for the elderly, as The Crashing Bore 2...well...crashes and bores!
              MOBILE FAILURE ADVANCES TO THE GRAND FINAL!!!

                  Last heavyweight fight before the Grand Final!!!

                  Fight 2
                  Wedge Devolution (10) vs. Gabriel IV

                  Roboteers, stand by...

                  Matilda, Exa-Gore-Ic Evo, if you please! And tusks, vertical flywheels, massive jaws, and pneumatic spikes do please the audience, yes...

                  Gabriel begins by going off to the side and averting a head-on confrontation with the veteran, but Steve is already halfway across the arena! Hastily the yellow-jacket-coloured tetrahedral bot tries to swing around and bring its nose to bear, but the devious Devo plows straight into the side skirt of Gabriel and immediately gets right under it and eventually the main body! Immediately, Gabriel eats 500psi as he goes flying across the arena, but Wedge Devo is after it, flipper still raised! Gabriel lands right-side-up, but the Scotbot plows straight in again, with enough force to actually slightly bend one of Gabriel's skirts upon impact, and getting under throws him into an empty CPZ! Gabriel...lands in a horrible situation, inverted, with the said skirt grazing the bottom of the arena wall! Gabriel tries to self-right but now it's propped up against the wall! Steve's pretty delighted, and so moves in for the kill, as the house robots also leave their CPZs! But Steve gets there first, and with one flick...sends Gabriel ALONG THE WALL and into the corner of the zone, still propped up! Bad luck, Mr. McGregor! Matilda's there though, and lifts up Gabriel with the tusks, pinning it further. Seeing its chance, Wedge Devo gets under and tosses Gabriel...ALMOST out, but Gabriel bounces and just manages to stay in! And ooh...Gabriel's now back on its wheels! As it passes, though, Matilda turns and catches it with the flywheel...SMASH! The titanium-vanadium alloy stands up reasonably well, but that blow pops it into the air and allows Wedge Devo a third chance to get it out...but nothing doing! Gabriel rides the railing and slides back in, but now he's inverted again! As Wedge Devo barges in again, Gabriel manages to right itself on its own at last! The 10th seed smashes into him, but near the front end of the skirt and merely turns the tetrahedral bot aside, leaving his own sides and rear exposed! Now it's Team Picus' time to shine, as Gabriel slides under Wedge Devo's skirts and side, and throws him over! Wedge Devolution self-rights, but Gabriel collects him back onto the nose and spikes and shoves him towards Exa-Gore-Ic's CPZ for some sweet revenge! Exa-Gore-Ic collects the proffered Wedge Devo in his grasp, but because Wedge was pushed side-on into him, the claws of the Herculean house robot slide over the flipper and angled rear, so Exa-Gore-Ic has effectively beached himself on top of the veteran! Steve tries firing the flipper, but that merely jolts the front end of Exa-Gore-Ic up a few inches and he comes right back down on Wedge Devo. Gabriel shoves Wedge Devo further in, and Wedge Devo now has some purchase on the house robot and tries again! This time, Exa-Gore-Ic is thrown straight over onto his side!

                  Matilda is already out of her CPZ like a...Matilda, I guess. Angered at the house robot assault, she moves at the two delinquents, but Gabriel spins and moves away, letting go of Wedge Devo, who quickly gets away as well. There's some chatter going on between the two in their booths...uh oh! I smell a rebellion brewing! Matilda knows it too, and aims for Wedge Devo first with the flywheel...but take your eyes off one and the other will get you, 'Tildy! Gabriel proves the point and inserts its nose into her exposed wheel, thereupon negating her movement. He tries to get under her some more but either the force from the disc is too much, or Matilda has too much traction on the floor, but either way Gabriel can't push her away! But Wedge Devo now moves in from the other side and...flips her over! The disc hits the floor and tries a massive slice into it, but then is forcibly ground to a halt by the said floor! Wedge Devo now takes Matilda across the arena...to the wall...and out! Matilda is out of the arena! How horrible of a fate to have befallen the Mentorn darling, but there's no pity from the audience, they've loved it all! And poor Exa-Gore-Ic moves his giant pincers wearily, achieving nothing more than side push-ups! ...Steve wants them all out! Like a shot the 10th seed is into the CPZ and crashes his plate into the fallen house robot...but can he get 400kg of cold cruel steel off the arena floor to achieve an OOTA? Gabriel's moving in, too...it looks like Steve has some help! You dastardly competitors, picking on our poor old house robots yet again! Wedge Devo tosses and...Gabriel is there to catch the falling house robot...and there! Gabriel himself has propped the house robot on his rear end against the corner! Steve now tries his damnedest to eject that mighty S.O.B. from the arena...no...not that time...urgh, not that time either! Gabriel has a go now...oh dear, that attempt sent Exa-Gore-Ic tumbling back in a bit more! Wedge Devo moves back in and flicks Exa-Gore-Ic back up onto the corner further...ooh! Gabriel has another go...!!! Oohh...and that's that for the house robot! I can't believe it! Now he's gone too!!! Exa-Gore-Ic has been totally shamed by the flipper power of these two mighty behemoths, and can we possibly get back to the real action now? The Watcher is quaking in his boots, mateys!

                  And they do so! Wedge Devo moves to the center of the arena and waits for Gabriel to follow. Gabriel does so, but swerves again. Wedge Devo now simply remains where he is, but turning about to keep the plat...e? Uh oh, it seems bent somewhat from all that house robot attacking! And it only hits Steve now, as Gabriel, missing a turn, nonetheless gets straight under the plate and under the front wedge of the 10th seed and throws him over! Wedge Devo self-rights, but Gabriel gets him right over again...but Wedge Devo self-rights again! Do you see how quickly these flippers are self-righting? That's key in these kinds of battles, lads! And now Wedge Devo is back in the action, finding the slightly bent skirt of Gabriel and turning into it, but doesn't quite get under enough to do anything and Gabriel escapes. Gabriel's attack, however, proves more fruitful and it breaches Wedge Devo's side again and throws it over! And once again the Scottish launcher gets back on its wheels quickly with another spectacular thrust...after falling off the side of Gabriel, that is! And this time it makes no mistake, getting under Gabriel's bent skirt and tossing Gabriel into a 360! Such a stylish flip! Its second charge however sees it hit the skirt and...not get under, though that skirt is being bent more, so that counts as damage! Gabriel turns its nose directly between the plate and side skirt and sneaks right under the body of the 10th seed, getting under and flipping it...only to see the Glasgow flipper get itself moving again with another self-right! What a tenacious battle! Neither flipper is showing signs of weakness, and this battle's wearing down! In comes Gabriel again, but sneaking around too late Wedge Devo blazes in and gets under the other skirt, and fully under Gabriel's side, and sends it onto its back! Gabriel self-rights, but Wedge Devo gets right back under the side, carries it to the wall, but is AGAIN denied a victory as Gabriel bounces off the wall and overtop of Wedge Devo's upraised flipping plate! Gabriel fires the front-hinged flipper again, but this throws it onto Wedge Devo's angled rear...Steve gets the hint and plays the role of rammer as Wedge Devo backs all the way across the arena and slams Gabriel into the wall opposite! This puts Gabriel on its...back again, but it self-rights before Wedge Devo can turn around and use its deadly flipper again! And it actually manages to get its nose in there before Wedge gets to him, and gets under the flipping plate again. This time, however, Wedge Devo rides onto the spike and is merely thrown aside as Gabriel's flipper flicks him!

                  Side by side with about a minute to go, this battle is just teeming with craziness! Both robots try and turn, but it's Wedge Devo again who gets the better of his opponent and gets under the tetrahedral bot's weakened side skirt, getting fully under and throwing him along the wall, Joey mopping his brow as Gabriel barely misses the Disc of Death on his way down! Wedge Devo moves around the hazard but Gabriel has already righted itself and is away...feeling outdone, possibly, Gabriel now goes for the pit release button, but Wedge Devo is right after him and Gabriel hits the button Steve barrels straight into Gabriel's rear, gets right under and lets loose with a major flip...but just can't get that damned Gabriel out of the arena! Joey sees his robot bounce top-first off the wall and onto the side of Wedge Devo. Seething, Steve adjusts his 10th seed accordingly and makes a run at one of the other walls...but Gabriel drives off, actually given a long enough time to do so! They didn't reach the wall though, so lucky Steve he didn't flip yet. Wedge turns about and has a Gabriel trying to get around him. But Gabriel manages to outpace him and has another successful attempt at getting under Wedge Devo from the side, and begins to shove it across the arena! They're headed for the pit! Wedge Devo fires its flipper, though, and this throws him further over one of the spikes, so he lands off to the side! Good points right there, but Gabriel merely turns and gets right back under! Unable to pit him now, and with little time left in the match, Gabriel heads for the Disc of Death he just missed...this time, Wedge Devo is unable to escape, and takes a massive hit to the flipper! There's a dent in it, but nothing more...and unfortunately for Gabriel this sends him off to the side! Gabriel tries to turn in time, but the Glasgow powerhouse is right abck under the skirt and side, and now gives Joey a taste of the hazard! The small mark Matilda left earlier now has a big sister as an equally large dent to rival Wedge Devo's is in the other side of Gabriel! In comes the Scottish flipper again to learn that Pontefract flipper a lesson, and unable to go around in time the two meet head-on...and this time Wedge Devo actually manages to get back under the nose of Gabriel! Quickly Steve upends Joey, who begins to self-right, but Wedge Devo collects him and drives across the arena...flipping...NO! What a sequence of failed attempts! Gabriel hits the railing flipper first and actually lands on its wheels perfectly! With increasing desperation, Joey moves Gabriel's nose in underneath Wedge Devo's side skirt while Steve is still shocked!

                  10...9...8...7...

                  With another nifty flick, Wedge Devo finds its world upside-downy, but re-rights itself...onto the side of Gabriel against the wall!

                  6...5...4...

                  Gabriel moves into the corner and actually tries to OOTA Wedge...but is even less successful than his opponent, as Wedge doesn't even pass above the wall!

                  3...2...1...

                  Wedge Devolution tries to self-right, but now is blocked by the wall!

                  CEASE!

                  I think...that the match we have experienced just now was one for the books! Judges, I pity you not!

                    Both robots get off to a quick start...UberForce moves around to get to the side of Toro, but finds the tricky flipper underneath it already and with a massive toss UberForce is catapulted into the air! Luckily he landed right-side-up, but has no plan to go through that again! Now he more carefully darts around to Toro's side, before the big bull can lock hor...erm, wedges/flippers with him. I swear there is a rush of wind as UberForce carries Toro to the nearest wall and mashes him hard against it! Toro bounces away, but manages to get the flipper under again and - ... that was a quick match. Toro manages to sneak an OOTA after getting the hell slammed out of him, and UberForce is now on the tracks...good grief!

                    CEASE!

                    UberForce 2.0 proves to be 'under force' and jumps the gun...or the fence, if you get me. :wink:

                      The Crash & Burn Tournament 4 Road to Armageddon!

                      HEAT A
                      The tournament kicked-off with the champion Disco 5 managing to stack The Final Cut against the wall after a well-fought fight, whilst on the other end our friendly ol' Drilla Killa 7 put up a valiant fight against Whirligig 4.5 replacement Mornington Crescent, but Steven earned the healthy judges decision based on damage. The antweights were a blast as well, and after a frenzied struggle with all four teams in hysterics, MicroForce 3.0 and Stewie moved on while CombatANT and Anty B bit the dust!
                      The Heat Final then beckoned, with Disco 5 seemingly up against it with the dual-ringed Mornington Crescent, but in a stunning turn of events, the champion expertly popped his opponent upon the wall as he did to The Final Cut in the previous match, and anarchy was put off another day as Martyn advanced!

                      HEAT B
                      3rd seeded Nitro-Gene 5.0 tangoed with tracked vertical spinner Darkestar, and managed to send the black hole packing with a well timed toss o'er the fence. After that, Ringwraith gave former C&B1 6th seed Die-Reverta-Tops a scarring it surely would never forget, and moved on while Team Dinowarrior went 0 for 1. And in the featherweights, guest house robot Xianghua III single-handedly took out OverDrive when Bulldozer pushed him into her, with a gigantic toss! Good as this was, Bulldozer was then double-teamed by Little Hitter 2 and Rolling Pin F.T.W. and was soon pitted.
                      Those who stayed for the Heat Final were in for a treat, as Nitro-Gene 5.0 and Ringwraith duelled it out. Eventually after sustaining several wounds, Nitro-Gene got Ringwraith out of the arena...after the match ended! The judges' decision awarded the match to Ringwraith based on damage, and Paul's 3rd seed proved to be hot air!

                      HEAT C
                      A very surprising heat as 5th seeded Killotine: EVO pretty much had his tartan kicked all over the arena by newcomer S.T.A.T., whose static spike paved the way for Team Picus' victory...and the newcomer luck continued as Y5 was bashed all the way in by Mobile Failure next fight. Christopher Mason sued for repairs afterward, but you pay the price for entering the arena, m'lad! The lightweights consisted of almost all real robots, but two went out when Backlash got turned over by Ziggo, and Gamma Raptor and Sergeant Slaughter got stuck together, signalling a judges decision that sent Liam through with a unanimous damage category swinging it.
                      Perhaps a clone of the 5th seed, Mobile Failure nevertheless did what Killotine: EVO couldn't and managed to pit S.T.A.T. in the Heat Final of the newcomers, and Team Alt's ascent begun!

                      HEAT D
                      Samuel Park's Paralyzation 2 looked to defend its 7th seeding against Leo van Miert's Sideswipe, and after a struggle managed to pop Sideswipe over on an arena spike and win its match, while Novastorm finally pitted Harraz after a draining battle between the two box wedges. Middleweight munchies were offered as well...with a fur-clad Gamma-Rex being pulverized by Alex Holt's Blizzard MW and Heroin managing to disable one part of the Pack Raptors, therefore taking the entire clusterbot out of the 'pack'!
                      Looking to go one step further, Samuel however was denied by Tony Politzi and Novastorm as it and Paralyzation 2 beat the snot out of each for the entire match and Tony won the judges' decision with aggression barely swinging it, so the C&B2 veteran climbed towards the trophy while Paralyzation 2 climbed towards th'pearly gates!

                      HEAT E
                      Elizabeth went into this hoping to prove Under Pressure's 9th seeding false and paid the price as half of its mobility was taken out early on, and then was counted out and pitted. Then realie Megabyte went up against Paul Cuomo's MeCannibal 3.0 and proved that the real robots can do just as well by tearing off the 360 degree skirt, and then repeatedly hitting MeCannibal until it flew into the pit! Then the Superheavyweights went at it...and the flippers ruled supreme as Toro and Ziggy sent Drive and Revolver hurriedly packing over the arena railings!
                      A bit nervous perhaps, Martijn's fear was misplaced as Under Pressure managed to control Megabyte long enough to pit the feared full body spinner, and the pressure was on for Team Varying Every Day...to move further forward!

                      HEAT F
                      Venus Fly Trap managed to take a licking and keep on kicking as it finally pitted *69, while Bloody Frigid managed to pit LowDown extremely quickly in an almost perfect imitation of the first Razer vs. Tornado match! Then the Antweights were welcomed back, as Bobcat and Wedge 3mm advanced, while Katjuscha knocked itself out of the arena and Razzler was flipped out in another crazy melee that was chortled at.
                      A pained battle in the works, but Tracy wouldn't have a sister to join Mobile Failure as Venus Fly Trap finally pitted Bloody Frigid in the Heat Final and successfully defended its 11th seeding. Team Braveheart marched on with their heads held high!

                      HEAT G
                      Unlucky for some, but a 13th seeding proved lucky indeed for The May Tracks Has You, as it wore down Blast's pneumatics and it found itself unable to self-right after a time...then MacBeth and Blue Hurricane ganged up on the Mentorn house robots, successfully immobilizing Sir Killalot and Mr. Psycho, before MacBeth finally gave out! But Daniel Stickler took home quite a few pieces of Killalot and Psycho with him! In other news, Innis and Redemption immobilized Sith, then finally took out Small System Shock after an intense struggle in the Featherweights!
                      Not so intense was the Heat Final, but sparks were made by Dead Metal, and it ended with an OOTA by The May Tracks Has You as the Canadian Blue Hurricane leaped over the fence!

                      HEAT H
                      PsycloniZer seemingly got defeated by Sir Killalot, its cage crumpled, and Panicking Still? moved on, while The 6isc took on Black Panther but lost the JD on aggression. After the Lightweight melee happened, and Minilith beat the snot out of Minigig, Tiny Tengu, and Ground Zero, with the latter just surviving, there was controversy in the pits as Andrew Jackson found PsycloniZer had been sabotaged by someone; it had been fitted with an aluminium frame instead of its Hardox one. Luckily, he was able to advance as Panicking Still? had no batteries on stock and had to drop out, so onward Andy went.
                      Unfortunately, even after that PsycloniZer had little luck, and Black Panther managed to hold on and pit the 15th seed, placing Team DoomForAll in prime position! To this day the one who sabotaged PsycloniZer is unknown but one day, the truth will be known...

                      And so the first half of the tournament was over...now began the second half...

                      HEAT I
                      And so the other half of the tournament was underway, with Tornado and GBOD in against each other, with Tornado easily racking up a pitting, and then Magnitude managed to defeat both halves of With or Without You to move on to face Tornado. Elsewhere, The Unnamed Feeling bullied Killoteeny around nearly all match, while T-Minus made sure its dominance over former MW Battlebots champion Hazard was ultimate!
                      Tornado fought well, but the 16th seed couldn't get around the wedge of Magnitude, and was swiftly ejected from the warzone; Team Picus were in ecstasy after their first Heat win, I tell you!

                      HEAT J
                      C&B2 champion Sheer Heart Attack 2 returned to the Battlegrounds to fight Dendroaspis, and it looked grim for the former champ as he was bullied around all match. Dendroaspis then tried pitting the 14th seed, but then suddenly pitted itself and Martijn moved on! In contrast, Holepunch 2.0 easily took Neo-Mecha to the pit and claimed an easy victory. And the Superheavyweights threw their weight around again, and it was the Omega-Rex show as The Judge and Red Knight were both flipped from the arena floor and out, UberForce 2.0 moving on with the Team Welsh Warlords flipper.
                      Martijn had an easier time with Holepunch 2.0 as Sheer Heart Attack 2 flipped and propped the crusher onto a wall, where it couldn't self-right...but after it was counted out, the former champ attacked Sergeant Bash and flipped him...Holepunch was accidentally let down and honoured the winner by taking out Asterix Anarchius single-handedly! The house robots were smarting after that, but Martijn looked to reclaim the crown, and he was in a good position to do it!

                      HEAT K
                      Former runner-up Raging Tempest hoped to repeat his success and possibly go one step further, but a surprising end he met when Symmetry bullied him into a CPZ and Matilda flipped him against the wall, making the 12th seed feel a lot like The Final Cut and Mornington Crescent before him! Then Gabriel IV took to the arena and managed to outdo veteran Shovearound 2, getting out of the arena at the last! Then the Otherweight semi-finals began with the Antweights, Bobcat proving how mediocre of a force MicroForce 3.0 really was!
                      And after Symmetry managed to tear Cassius Chrome a new one, Gabriel IV flipped them all over, including the Team RCC bot itself, stranded directly on its rear end! Jubilant, Team Picus advanced with a brother to join Magnitude in the Semis!

                      HEAT L
                      The Deer crashed out by an early 'thank you very much!' flip by 10th seed Wedge Devolution, who then proceeded to flip Shunt out as well! Naughty, naughty! And naughty was the beating that Next Stop, Jupiter experienced, as Monsoon Season completely had its way with the Warrior SKF-alike and in the end ejected it out! Then a total display of destruction in the Featherweights occurred as Innis completely eviscerated Rolling Pin F.T.W...except for one of the wheels!
                      Not so destructive as the Heat Final, but exciting nonetheless as Wedge Devolution and Monsoon Season played mind-games with each other! After many failed OOTA attempts, Wedge Devolution was the successful one and Monsoon Season downpoured to the tracks, and Wedge moved on to join Venus Fly Trap!

                      HEAT M
                      3/4rds done with heats, and the lime proved stronger than Hell itself, as Tracy Farber's Lime-y damned 8th seed Gehenna, formerly named Son of Ripper, and flipped him out from the arena after a tense battle! And the golden oldies proved to be swifter than many of the others, but all the same M.O.R.D. 2 crashed out VERY quickly when Frank and The Crashing Bore 2 pitted them, and then Shunt was lifted over...and accidentally attacked by Matilda! The Watcher quickly sorted out the nonsense and pitted The Crashing Bore 2 soon afterward! Then, in an almost Mass Discstruction Ultimate vs. Crankshafted moment, lightweights Ziggo and Ground Zero one-hit-killed each other upon first impact, and in the closest judges' decision of the tournament, Ground Zero progressed, winning more categories than Ziggo!
                      The House Robots remembered the humiliation of Shunt and Matilda from earlier...when The Crashing Bore 2 pitted Lime-y, Dead Metal immediately went after the oldest ever vapourbot and pitted him too!

                      HEAT N
                      More veteran fun was abroad as Orka RV defended its 6th seeding and flipped Maximum Genocide over, then ejected it before the house robots could attack! Then Dantu and Liar 2 tussled and thrashed and t...aw forget it. Dantu won the close judges decision, no lie, and Liar 2 could only blame itself! A supreme shock was discovered after that match, when Blizzard MW controlled T-Minus for the majority of the match, and finally shoved him down the big black hole!
                      Orka RV looked in danger of losing its next fight, as Dantu put several slashes into the titanium armour, but at the last Dantu was flipped OOTA by the plucky whale robot and Chris looked to go further than 3rd this time!

                      HEAT O
                      A rather questionable match when after a failed OOTA attempt by 4th see Ge5orce, Nidhogg³ got caught on the railings. Thanks to The Watcher, though, Ge5orce was able to OOTA him properly! After that, it was a depressing display for Team Dinowarrior as LockJaw v3 pitted Mega Masher 2 after surviving a disc blow, and sending Mega Masher out of Round 1 a third time! The Superheavyweight flipping frenzy saw Ziggy and Omega-Rex duking it out, but Omega-Rex sent the Canadian flipper out very quickly before the same could be done to it!
                      Andy jokingly had words with the officials after the Heat Final, when LockJaw v3 ALSO got caught on the arena wall like Nidhogg³ did, but Ge5orce got it out quicker and moved onto the Semis, the only Team ??? bot to do so!

                      HEAT P
                      And so the final heat began with runner-up Achilles getting the better of Dervish: The l33t Generation after a few bumps and bruises and quickly shoving the experienced beater down the pit, followed by itself! Then in a big surprise, Lethal Weapon managed to win a judges decision based on damage over Apocalypse II after Tony knocked both machines out! And in the craziest Antweight fight yet, Stewie and Wedge 3mm survived about 15 seconds before Stewie managed to push Wedge 3mm off, followed by himself afterwards!
                      The final Heat Final saw Achilles use its hydraulic system to great effect and take all that Lethal Weapon could dish out, and then some! Eventually Lethal Weapon was lifted over the railings and out, while Achilles spun on its 'heel' and raced onward!

                      And then the Semis began...

                      SEMI-FINAL 1
                      The action was fierce in the first Semi-Final! Sheer Heart Attack 2 and Venus Fly Trap battled like crazed patriotic soldiers with shovels! but there could be only one winner, and Martijn made sure it was him after breaking off one of Venus Fly Trap's supports, then being able to topple the clamper onto its side, which he did!
                      Orka RV went against Novastorm, but Tony unfortunately was thrown into the belly of the whale as after a decent pounding by the house robots, the flipper of Orka RV proved enough to eject Novastorm from the arena floor and out of it, to his doom!
                      It was another flipper fest as Achilles and Magnitude came to blows, but in reality it was all Achilles as Magnitude was flipped all around the arena, into CPZs, house robots, and eventually o'er ye olde trusty fence to go back to Pontefract, as Achilles soared ever further!
                      The May Tracks Has You seemed to be winning against Ge5orce, when Sir Killalot pinned the latter upon the saws for an extended period of time, but then when Ge5orce finally got under the skirts of May Tracks, it was all over as May Tracks went down the pit soon after, and Ge5orce forced its way on!
                      The Featherweight Semi-Finals beckoned again, and Little Hitter 2 managed to completely pulverize Redemption and earn a one-way ticket to the Featherweight Final to face Innis. Redemption had to have major reconstruction after the match, which Joey was not pleased about...

                      In the second round of this semi, Orka RV was up against it with the former champion Sheer Heart Attack 2, and eventually taking too much damage, both externally and internally, to go on any further! Martijn celebrated his return to the Grand Final by spinning his robot about in a crazy dance as only a tracked robot can do!
                      The second fight of the second round was far quicker, with Ge5orce getting Achilles off the arena floor and out after dodging a wall slam from now former runner-up Achilles, and the force is strong in this one, as we've seen so far!

                      An odd display in the Lightweight Semis was witnessed when Sergeant Slaughter grabbed Minilith, held him over the saws, but then the crusher broke...and The Watcher tipped them over, forcing the match into a judges' decision. Joey McConnell submitted his guest decision, which saw Liam progress!

                      SEMI-FINAL 2
                      Martijn was definitely Under Pressure in this match, as one flip from opponent Gabriel IV rendered it nearly useless! It then got flipped back over...and then again onto the edge of the pit before being knocked in, signalling a rise for Team Picus!
                      Possibly the oddest heavyweight match, as champion Disco 5 took one hit from Mobile Failure's axe and completely stopped moving! It was afterwards learned that Disco 5's ground clearance was set too low...not that that would have helped The Final Cut or Mornington Crescent in their matches much! Regardless, the champ lost his crown and Tracy (delirious with joy) moved ever closer to it!
                      One flip into Dead Metal's CPZ was all that was needed by Wedge Devolution to send Black Panther packing, as Dead Metal sliced into the rear, and then the Glasgow bread'n'butter flipper OOTA'd it! Alex was sent home ashamed of such a one-sided fight, while the Scottish Resistance was strong!
                      And in a very one-sided fight, The Crashing Bore 2 managed to de-wheel Ringwraith...of both its wheels, while using Renegade and the arena Discs of Death to destroy the drum itself, too!
                      Then the other Middleweight Semi-Final kicked off, with Heroin managing to damage The Unnamed Feeling enough to immobilize him...but landing on the edge of the pit itself and unable to move without falling in...regardless, Joey clinched the judges decision and advanced!

                      In the battle of new vs. old, it was Mobile Failure that proved that it was time for The Crashing Bore 2 to head off to old retirement home by bashing its armour in completely! The newcomer basked in her glory of her first ever Grand Final while Frank wandered away, possibly thinking of an upgrade to the Bore, but I doubt he'll be boring us for long.
                      And in one of the most epic flipper frenzies in the tournament, Wedge Devolution held its own against newcomer Gabriel IV, briefly attacking the house robots and getting them out before resuming their war of attrition, which saw a judges' decision result, Steven barely winning and heading to the Grand Final for the first time since the first tourney!
                      Finally, the quickest fight (or at least Superheavyweight fight) of the tournament saw Toro get a flip in, get rammed into the wall, then toss UberForce 2.0 from the arena floor and on the camera tracks!

                        For the otherweights, I have no clue what will happen as that is not my expertise (actually, neither are heavyweights ) but this is how I predict the final heavyweight stands to be:

                        4th: Sheer Heart Attack 2 (14)

                          Oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh, how the heck did I make it so far?!

                          Ah, kay, right, tactics.

                          So, Innis against Little Hitter, whos name I keep misspelling and it bothers Kody greatly. XD
                          I'm not too sure. It seems like a good idea, though, to avoid it's weapon, and go for what corners I can find, and tear into them. I think I can cut in well enough, so hopefully it causes enough damage that I don't have to worry too too hard about getting murderdated really fast!

                          But now, for the most important one, right, Failure against Sheer Heart Attack the second.
                          ....I've beaten it before. XD
                          Granted, it was with Failure 2.5, however, I don't see how much has changed enough for a similar, if not identical, strat to work.
                          So!
                          Running away is hard, it's faster, so I'm not running. Gonna stand my ground as much as possible. Go for the tracks. If I can get those, speed diffrences are no longer a problem. And then, let the pushing begin. It would be pretty great if I got a track off of the thing, somehow, though I don't think it's likely. Do try to avoid that drum, if at all possible, of course.

                            Well, long story short I have my tactics ready . Mobile Failure has a wedge, Sheer Heart Attack 2 loves wedges. My drumbot drives over a wedge, the wedge is damaged, it's as simple as that. Furthermore, notice SHA's own hinged wedges... SHA drives up a wedge, the hinges do their job, and the tracks of SHA keep in contact with the ground. Positive, positive, positive. Furthermore, what is it I see up that wedge of Mobile Failure? It's the axe's hinge! If SHA drives up the wedge, the drum will at some point meet up with that axe's hinge and Mobile Failure's weapon might just find itself crippled. I would fancy doing that .

                            Mobile Failure... that axe is nasty. Not immensely extremely powerful, but hey, if it were, it would only hinder Mobile Failure's... mobility. It's powerful enough, and that in itself is frightening enough. But SHA's shape is awkward, isn't it? In the middle of the bot's top view, where axes tend to hit, there's air and nothing but air. If I meet Mobile Failure drum-to-wedge, that axe wont hit me, which is exactly what I will be aiming for.

                              It's finals time!

                              Ge5orce (4) vs. Wedge Devolution (10)

                              I would like to get this one over with quickly - I think that a battle between two flippers like this could either be very short or very long. The main advantage I have here is that my two-wheel drive should be more manoeuvrable than Wedge Devolution's four-wheel drive. That should allow me to get into good positions to attack, while also avoiding Wedge Devolution's flipper. I should have enough power and leverage with my long wedge to get under Wedge's skirts, push it around, and flip it about. Once I'm under it, there's only one thing to do, and that's to try and get the king of all vapourbot flippers out of the arena. Failing this, I should have enough power to push Wedge Devolution around and into the hazards and potentially the pit. Another thing working in my favour is that I am invertible and won't need to self-right to get back on the attack, whereas Wedge Devolution will need to use up gas every time I turn it over.

                                Well before we start the first Grand Final battle, I would like to now say that I am going to be handing out awards before the end, you lucky blighters. However, there will be quite a few more categories in this tournament than in C&B2 or C&B3:

                                C&B2: (as Sheer Heart Attack) Defeated Quocunque Jeceris Stabit, The Deer, Aneurysm, Cyclone Force 2.5, Flank Attack: DT, SUNCUST, and finally Tempest Evil-er-oution to claim the crown!
                                C&B3: Very surprising loss as, after an intense struggle, Ge5orce managed to pit the reigning champ in its Heat Final.

                                In for the house robots we have Mr. Psycho, massive claw and massive hammer...massive presence! Alongside him we have Count Bleck's spinning body and flamethrower to boot!

                                And the Grand Final is underway! It begins with Sheer Heart Attack 2 on a one-way course with Mobile Failure's wedge! Obviously that's not where Tracy intends to end up and goes to move out of the way...but finds the plucky drumbot nearly there already! Hurriedly the newbie axebot tries to make a go at the sides of Sheer Heart Attack, but the former champ is caught by the side skirt of Mobile Failure, turned about, and has a clear opening at the rear! In goes the 14th seed with fury, and manages to clip the rear slightly before Mobile Failure can fully get away, stalling it, and then placing a heavy hit on that rear panel, throwing Mobile Failure up onto her wedge, and then falling back down onto Sheer Heart Attack! The angle of the landing is such that Mobile Failure is tilted side-on and Sheer Heart Attack manages to tip Mobile Failure over onto its back! But just as Sheer Heart Attack is about to throw his prize to the waiting Count Bleck some feet away, a burst of fresh carbon dioxide sees the axe extend, throwing Mobile Failure off the ground and back onto its wheels, out of range of the former champion! Now Tracy gets the bloody hell out of there before Martijn can resume the assault, and moves to the center of the arena, signalling Sheer Heart Attack to play the hound to her fox! Sheer Heart Attack just barrels straight for the newcomer, but more prepared this time is the Team Alt captain and Mobile Failure entirely avoids the drum of Sheer Heart Attack as she swings to the side! Driving up against the side, though, the wedge hits the tracks and remains stationary, Mobile Failure unable to push Sheer Heart Attack away, but at the same time jamming the track so Martijn cannot move his machine away! This, however, allows the most destructive axe we've seen this series come into play! And down it comes, directly onto the titanium tracks! Not waiting to admire the damage, Tracy lets fly again and again on the exact same track, and Martijn looks very worried! However, after about 8 straight axe blows, The Watcher shoves his nose into their business...it's been 30 seconds, Tracy, you can't pin Sheer Heart Attack there forever! Mobile Failure sulkily backs off...but amazingly there seems to have been absolutely no damage done to the tracks whatsoever! The track is working just fine and now Martijn wants some payback! Only thing is, you'll have to catch her first, Marti! The 4WD Failure is easily managing to dodge around the drum after that first charge now, and Martijn seemingly can't get it into play now! In comes the purple predator again, but slips up on its side attack and merely bounces off the tracks! This leaves our deviously Dutch drummer a delicious...er...chance, I reckon! And this gratuitous opportunity Martijn takes, gleeful with every fibre of his being! Sheer Heart Attack turns and buries that 39kJ drum directly into the side of Mobile Failure!

                                Mobile Failure is flipped up and over, almost into a 270 degree dive, but falls on its back at the last! As it tries to self-right, the drum is back in there and slashes the front edge of the side, sending the Failure skittering across the floor to end up near the arena wall, still inverted! Sheer Heart Attack keeps the deep pressure on, slamming Mobile Failure again and nearly getting it out of the arena, but at the very least slashing the titanium up some and sending the pseudo-Failure into Mr. Psycho's CPZ - BAM! The hammer directly impacts the underside of Mobile Failure! I think this battle is in Martijn's hands, now! In for a fourth deadly shot in a row, Martijn gets the rear panel again, Sheer Heart Attack tearing through it this time! Mobile Failure is pushed up against Mr. Psycho and falls back down, now badly beaten up! Another hammer blow misses, and this gives Tracy the time to self-right her machine...and there's life left in Mobile Failure, as it does! But that doesn't stop Sheer Heart Attack from driving forward and the former champ buries the drum into Mobile Failure's wedge...which may have been a mistake because he bounces off of it, then back onto it, drum stopped! Mobile Failure now has its own turn to deliver some payback as it positively flies across the arena without allowing the 14th seed any time to drive off the wedge and with a massive CRASH, Sheer Heart Attack is thrown straight into the spinning ring of the other house robot, Count Bleck, and one of the rear wedges is nearly torn right off! This separates the two, and somehow bashes Mobile Failure against the wall of the CPZ side-on. Not wishing to share dorm room with a glaring house robot, his monocle lopsided Tracy exits the CPZ and tries to play rope-a-dope with the former champion again, but accidentally drives over the arena saws! BZZT! But Martijn jumps the gun and drives forwards much too early, and the drum hits the killsaw!!! The resulting CRASH!!! bends the arena saw in question, and now it cannot be retracted! And obviously the poor thing won't be spinning up anytime soon! The drum is just fine, but Mobile Failure manages to dodge the drum now before it can get in there, and attacks the same side as before! Once again, the wedge jams the tracks so Sheer Heart Attack cannot really go anywhere, and we're treated to another axe fest as Mobile Failure lays it thick on the former champ! WHACK! WHACK! WHACK!

                                Goodness me, the tenacity of these blows is extremely worrying! I believe I even saw a spark from one of them...although that doesn't rival the spinning drum of Sheer Heart Attack...and speaking of Sheer Heart Attack, what's happened to the track?! It seems bent in! Not the individual track parts themselves, but the right side track as a whole is bent down beneath the armour! But Mobile Failure keeps up with the pounding, and gets a few more in before The Watcher sets himself in the separating position, actually lifting Mobile Failure up and away from Sheer Heart Attack 2! ...and the idiotic refbot drives himself straight over another set of arena saws! BZZT! This releases Mobile Failure, who moves in to keep attacking Sheer Heart Attack...but he's spinning in a circle! I believe that the bell has tolled! The bent track is completely jammed up! Martijn frantically tries to get the track going again, but to no avail it seems, as the former champion continues to make a bogus crop circle near the arena middle saws...which definitely need fixing after this! And so will Sheer Heart Attack 2, as Martijn puts down his controller and The Watcher begins to count him out! There will be no second trophy for the Dutch this time!

                                It's a very disheartening display but Sheer Heart Attack 2 was on a sheer downfall this fight! Keep your hopes up though, Marti, there's a play-off we need you for!
