  • How Could I Improve...

    To answer your questions, AJ.

4 of the wheels are unpowered because the robot sometimes tilts back and forth. These wheels are sort of like casters, but they are full wheels.

The ground clearance behind the skirts is 3cm.

Large is a 150mm bore ram.

Mark, Kodys right when he said youre full of ****. Why the hell would you get in contact with them, or (In other words) Why the hell would they get in contact with you? Ive got in contact with other vapourboteers, like Storm II and Iron-Awe 5 and Merlin, but I dont go and make a complete clone of any of them.

And stop either making up ****, or saying **** without proof.

        Complete clone?

Killertron had a very slow and weak pickaxe, while my robot has the ultimate pickaxe.

NOTE: I did not say the ultimate axe. That goes to Terrorhurtz.

Not to mention Killertron Mach 2 has better armour, better speed, plus better ground clearance and manueverability.

Will you at least admit that the old wheelchair motors in Killertron were worthless?

The main thing here is the name. Dont steal names!

Speaking of stealing things *looks at hurricane*

Steve did you forget to lock your vapourbot shed?

Mark, fair enough to make a robot based on Killertron, but dont steal its name. Besides one of my robots allready refers to Killertron in its title so stop stealing my vapours names

Martyn, my bot has nothing to do with your bot.

Never allow people to assume your turning circle, as you will have no leg to stand on if the writer decides to make your TC very large.

He wasnt reffering to the name Hurricane, just that the idea of a ring spinner using Pussycat style blades is very similar to Steves Whirligig.

Turning circle only relates to robots with ackerman steering (Car Steering), all the rest (2WD, skid and omni) all have 0 turning circle by nature.

                            The Swamp

The arena is rather basic and simple, where the only hazards are the pit which just happens to be open all the time on one side of the arena and on the other side just happens to be a nasty rough patch designed to ground those stupidly low ground clearance robots, anything with less than 5mm ground clearance better stay clear.

The arena is 60 metres by 60 metres, there is a Refbot designed to break up robots if they get caught up in each other, but if one robot gets caught against the wall or on the rough and can€™t free itself, then it will be counted out.

The walls are solid steel plating 10cm thick in total, the floor is made from a non-magnetic metal and coated in anti-slip paint, so it is rather griply.

                            ----

                            Have I missed anything important?

Yes, for an arena called The Swamp, theres a disturbing lack of any alligator or liquid type hazards
