Well I'm using the AC input power port (AC 100~240v 50/60HZ

It's a 14.8V, max charged voltage is 17v

And what do you meassure? Not what it should be, but using the charger or a multimeter to see what voltage the battery kicks out atm.

The battery meter on charger say 8.55v.
When I tried the multimeter it goes to fast and to load.

8.55 is way to low. I wouldn't use that one anymore.

Oh lovely, looks like I to put a new battery on the shopping list and the multimeter no longer wants to work, luck isn't with me today, still I had worst.

Also what the best method to throw away the old battery?

Safely.
Drop it in a bucket with salt water for a night, then just dispose it.

Just like that? Never thought salt water would do it, I always thought you could take it to the recycling centre since they can take batteries, cars battery etc.

That is also an option.

What I usualy do is cut off the leads (cut wires one by one) , recycle the leads and plugs, and "remove" the battery after soaking it in salt water.

There's always something. I been doing a bit of weapon testing to make sure I got the right channel. With the new battery in and going to put the safety link in, then it does this.

This why you test things more then once, so you can avoid things like this.
Now I need more plugs.
