      • Drilling some holes would probably get you underweight. But that is such a cool little thing. Love it! Feel free to share any tips or things you learned on the beetleweight forum

The servo is a cheap 12-15kgf one off ebay

On another note I have started work on the beetle version of scruffy, pics to follow when more is done

              • ok actually now done enough to beetle scruffy to make it worth posting

im using a sabertooth dual 5a and 2x 500rpm motors which don't seem very impressive, i tryed shoving a 1kg cat food box and it really struggled compared to the 4wd, might change to the same brand as the version in my 4wd as they seem a better quality

i have a 17kg torque servo which will run the lifter, at present im doing some cad to work out the armour

                              • scruffy didn't do to well at whitwick, it somehow managed to cook the actuator motor and a relay in my battle switch so battle switch is now fixed and i have gone for a slightly lower rpm motor as i am aiming to get scruffy back to a 4s lipo to regain its speed and pushing power

my bw glitch did nicely but there wasn't much to fight and i now have plans to build a bw with 100mm wheels

on another note i have also started work on scruffy 3 and will probably have some ideas for scruffy 4 after gsl
