How are the robots weighed on the day? I was going to get a set of fishing scales but to what accuracy do they need to be? To the nearest gram seems overkill but to the nearest 50g seems to far out.

I we have 5g leverage (I believe), but the scales are very accurate (3 decimal places at Kgs?)
We used the ol' weigh our selves, then us with the robot technique last year and were grams off the limit. That was more luck though.......

Thats + 0.035%! I need to find some more accurate scales!

        [ The calculation... (0.005/13.6)x100=0.0367 ]

Not being an arse, but to avoid arguments since we have a crushing robot this year.....

          Pinning
It is not permitted to hold or restrain an opponent for more than 30 seconds, for example, where a hydraulic crushing weapon grips its opponent, or one robot pins its opponent to arena side or floor, to do so is instant disqualification. If two or more robots become entangled or a crushing or gripping weapon is employed and becomes trapped within another robot, then the competitors should make the timekeeper aware, the fight should be stopped and the robots separated by the safest means. The fight will then be judged to the point where the robots became trapped.

Im 99.99% sure im going to be running Flow on low pressure just to keep it more relaible. It would be nice to have the impressive flipping power but I dont want to be fixing the robot after every fight. It should still be a semi decent flipper even on low pressure.

Judging by the rest of the robot, the top armour will probably be re-inforced bulletproof kevlar interwoven with hardox strands. Wood's hard to come by these days.

Still going with the bang-bang system I see? Your driving was bad enough last year with full proportionate control
