Yeah, I only have so much to work on without a picture though. You were probably on sometime, but I kept forgetting to ask. I also hate researching things; its one of my downfalls, but it takes a lot of time and is really tedious.

Slaying Mantis F vs. Shovearound 2

Like Matty, I€™m going to screw the intros since we all know and love these robots.

Shovearound 2, being the faster robot by far, leaves his square first and is barreling towards his opponent; the fearless Slaying Mantis. Alex, having the slower robot, is off to a much more methodical and defensive approach, going around the saws to give himself a better position. Shovearound, however, doesn€™t care and easily maneuvers around the saws and gets under Slaying Mantis before he can do anything about it. Already the lifters are in motion, and raising the Mantis so that he cannot escape. Tony decides to ram the bug into the closest thing he can find, which just so happens to be the wedged wall. In doing so, they both go up the wall, and Mantis gets slammed hard into the wall. The hit, however, had enough velocity to turn Slaying Mantis over. Phased, but still in the game, Alex quickly acts the scrimech and rights his robot. Then, looking for some vengeance, he turns towards Shovearound, who, in the meantime, has scurried over to the other side of the arena. Slaying Mantis makes his way over and, despite Shovearound€™s better speed, is able to outmaneuver and get under the blue robot€™s skirt. Immediately the Mantis drives forward while clamping, pressuring Shovearound into the wall spikes as the crusher comes down. However, Shovearound isn€™t exactly in the right position, so instead of it coming down on the body, it comes down on the skirt. Alex doesn€™t seem to mind, though, and beings to bend the skirt. The weird mechanism in the claw works, and Alex goes ahead and holds up Shovearound by the skirt. Fearing the worst, Tony just has to sit back and watch as Slaying Mantis brings the pusher over to the main killer saws and slams him into it. The left skirt on Shovearound goes flying away, and hits the contestant barrier (You can thank me for that, otherwise someone would be dead =D). The hit has also jarred Shovearound lose, though, and he comes back on the attack as if nothing happened. He immediately gets under Slaying Mantis€™s front and holds him in the air, over the slightly less dangerous saws. They cut into Mantis€™s side pretty well, but soon Shovearound is ordered to release him. They both back off, and then Shovearound comes immediately back in on the attack. Mantis tries to get away, only to trip on the skirt shard that was ripped off earlier in the match. This allows Shovearound to easily catch up, get under, and slam Mantis into the spike wall, which puts a small cut into Mantis€™s side. Thirty seconds now pass, with little other event, other than a shove or two from each side. Finally, with around twenty seconds left, Mantis is once again able to get under, and crushes the top of Shovearound instead of the skirt. This happens on the side of the arena away from the big saws, however, and all Mantis can do with this is just ram Shovearound into the spiked wall before the buzzer sounds.

Damage - 11-4 in Slaying Mantis F€™s favor. Shovearound€™s skirt was torn off, his other was bent, and there is a pretty big dent in Shovearound€™s top from the crusher. In return, Mantis has a cut in his side, some dents, and some more cuts from the spikes.

Control - 8-7 in Shovearound€™s favor. Half of the match was either Mantis in control, or the Shover in control. However, Shovearound usually had more control with the lifting forks, other than the key points in the match.

Aggression - 11-4 in Shovearound€™s favor. This was basically Shovearound€™s category, since he made most of the rams, and chases. There were points where Mantis was aggressive, but there weren€™t enough of them.

Your winner, by a 23-22 Judges Decision, Shovearound 2!

Slaying Mantis F was shoved around, and called some names. Shovearound 2 makes it to the next round.

P.S, this is by no means a come back. There will be weeks when I€™m lazy, but I promise at least one result a week.
