      My latest creation

      Blood Eagle

      Weight: 100kg
Shape: A very low wedge with side skirts
      Dimensions: 94cm X 75cm X 42cm
      Armour: 4.825mm Hardox
      Power: 2 X 24V LEM-130 powered by 4 24V NiCad BattlePacks
Wheels: 4 X vulkalon rubber tyres
      Top Speed: 19 mph
Ground Clearence: 0mm on the front and sides due to Firestorm-like blade and side skirts and 2.1mm on the back
      Turning Circle: Guess.
Weapons: A very nasty, diamond edged crushing beak (ala Razer) powered by a Vivoil Hydraulic Pump, with 3800PSI of force. There is also several Mute-style barbs to trap other robots while crushing them.
Srimech: Razer-Style Arms on sides and rounded back to stop it from getting beached.
Strengths: Extremely Fast Srimech, Devastating and Lethal Weapon, Almost Impossible to get underneath, Good Traction
      Weaknesses: None- Almost Invincible

LMAO. I seriously LMAOed after reading that. Shaving off a mm of Hardox wont help. Youre seriously going to have problems with a bot that has a crusher, 4mm Hardox armour, and 2 LEM130s, really. Ditch the LEMs for S28-400s, and give your bot around 5-8mm titanium. Also, what powers the arms on the sides?

Is that height the top of the crushing beak?

Looks kind of overweight to me...as far as I remember, Razers arms were attached to the main claw by hinges, and when the arm was raised fully a bit of string (steel cable) pulled the hinge down so they went upwards...doing something like that would save weight, if not necessarily be 100% reliable.

While Im here (again...), can I be annoying and ask for opinions on my reincarnated Fire And Ice?

                  Phoenix Down
WEIGHT: Depends on setup, but around 110kgs
                  DIMENSIONS: 85 x 60 x 25 cm
SHAPE: Invertible long box, with a wedge at the front and an inverted wedge at the rear. The wedges are shallower in this version for more wedging goodness.
COLOUR: Largely midnight blue, fading to black at the rear and yellow at the front, with flashes of orange and red.
DRIVE: 2 LEM200 motors running from 4 NiCad packs at 48v, driving titanium tank tracks with Vulkalon on every other link for grip without eating amps
SPEED: 16mph average, 25mph max (rarely used as it is difficult/impossible to turn at this speed)
GROUND CLEARANCE: 10mm at sides, plating extending below both wedges giving zero clearance on whichever side is down (if that makes sense...), 25cm at rear.
ARMOUR: Sides, front and rear are 6mm Hardox, top and underside are 6mm titanium with Lexan reinforcing in key areas all around.
WEAPONS: Primarily a rambot, and is assisted by 4 10cm hardened steel spikes, one either side of each wedge. In the middle of both wedges, there is an interchangable weapons bay, which can hold the following:
Claw: A hardened steel hydraulic cutting/crushing claw, no taller than the robot, powered from a Vivoil pump at 2400psi giving about 4 tonnes of force at the ram, and 2 tonnes at the tip of the claw, which wont cut into good titanium or Hardox but will prevent almost anything from escaping.
Saw: A 15cm diameter diamond edged circular saw, run from an S28-150 Magmotor at 24v to around 3500rpm, spinning upwards to have a lifting effect.
Lifter: A pair of Haardvark/Nidhogg style hardened steel lifting forks, powered by an S28-150 Magmotor and a custom gearbox that can lift about 100kgs rather easily.
Standard setup is the claw at the front, and a saw at the back.
The weapons bay can be covered over to just make it a rambot - this has the advantage of making it just under 100kgs, allowing me to do battle in tournaments that dont have a tracks weight bonus.
SRIMECH: None, but runs inverted and has spike strips on the sides to stop it stranding itself.
NOTES: Armour and components shock mounted to reduce damage from impacts, spinners, bashes, battles, and other things ending in S.
STRENGTHS: Good speed and power, good against spinners, versatile weaponry
WEAKNESSES: Crushers and very powerful axes could cause problems with the tracks.

Its not the answer to several questions, though...like How many bags of free money do you want, sir? or How many inches do you want to be away from Joey when he stands on this landmine?
