Re: PMEUMATICS
Ummm...
BSP - British Standard Pipe threads are odd as far as sizing goes.
http://www.teamonslaught.fsnet.co.uk/threads.htm
A 1/4 Pneumatic Port would be a 1/4 BSP thread and actually measure 1/2
The plastic / nylon tube to connect everything together will be metric and the size will refer to the actual measured Outside Diameter.
Confused?
The cylinder seems ok...it has 1/8 bsp ports and a 10mm x 1.25 pitch thread on the rod.

Re: PMEUMATICS
The first cylinder linked to is probably a 6mm ( metric port )
The 2nd gives specs ...
Port Size: G1/4
Heavy
Duty Construction
note the emphasis on HEAVY
I have no idea what you mean by 1/4 copper wirer ??!!

Re: PMEUMATICS
Yes ...you could use 1/4 copper tube or pipe .... you will however need to source the correct fittings and olives.
I'd recommend nylon or plastic together with push fit fittings.
1/8 ports on the cylinder and valve together with 6mm o.d. tube should be fine for your proposed set up.
