        Re: PMEUMATICS

        Lets start with a simple battery , motor and dual speed controller setup.

        NOTE that the receiver is usually powered from the speed controllers BEC.

          Re: PMEUMATICS

          No prob with that but how do u give power to the esc and the weapon
          because the pic that was on tecnobots said that the battle switch (for the flipper) needed
          to be conected to the battery

              Re: PMEUMATICS

              The supply to the Battleswitch (for your weapon) and the supply for your ESC are wired in parallel... so after the safety link you would have two red (positive) wires, one goes to the ESC and one goes to the Battleswitch. Then two black wires from the negative side of the battery, one to supply the ESC another to the switch.

              (BTW, please can you just use basic .jpg images? I have no idea what a .pptx file is nor can my computer open them)

                            Having read through this thread I have one comment on you building a pneumatic flipper, do your research!! Firstly if it's planned well it will be quite cheap and you wont buy stuff you don't need, secondly if you take the time to understand how the pneumatics systems work then you're less likely to get your arm ripped off by your nice new flipper.

                            I wouldn't want to put anyone off going for a pneumatic system without any experience (now that would be hypocritical ) BUT it's easy to miss thing out which are there for your and everyone elses safety like regulators and pressure relief valves etc. Mistakes hurt in a potentially life changing way (not a good way). Woody has some really useful information and you can always turn up to an event (Like Portsmouth or Maidstone) and get someone to run you through how things go together.

                              Firstly I have go to an event and asked
                              and I have had 3 month of reseach just on the weapon ok
                              and I am not a dumb 10 year old kid

                              I know what u r saying and I do know safety is no.1 when
                              using a cut or welder
