    Re: PMEUMATICS

in series, and you could either get 2 x 7.2 volt packs but if your using drills i'd recommend over volting them with 2 x 8.4 volt packs for more speed

        Re: PMEUMATICS

Wire them in parallel. That'll give you 14.4V and 2600mAh which will provide a more respectable running time. If you wired them in series you would get 28.8V, which is fine, but you would still only have 1300mAh and several speed controllers suitable for featherweights don't operate up to 28.8V

                      Re: PMEUMATICS

The answer isn't as simple as it may seem.

You'll need to know / work out the amps used by your setup....versus the amps your battery / batteries have to give during a given time.

                      Try playing with this calculator
                      http://architeuthis-dux.org/torquecalc.asp
..A Harbour Freight motor is probably the equiv of your motors.

                      Cheers Woody

                          Re: PMEUMATICS

One thing about wiring in parallel, you cannot charge them in parallel (as one pack) so you'll need to make sure you can unplug each pack to charge it seperately.

Not a bad idea using the batteries which come with the drills. We did that for our first feather which was more than enoug for the 30seconds it lasted before being retired as utter rubbish

It did last a lot longer running round the garden though.

                          Andy

                            Thanks for the battery info
                            so
I need the batterys in parallel,
the batterys + - split (one to the battery swich
                            and one to the esc)
the batery to unplug to charge
                            thx again
