5= 127mm, close enough for me.

On 12V that setup will go about 20km/h Sounds a good speed and instant acceleration (wheelies garantied)

And I dont see any reason why chain cant be used. But for a 2wd I keep with the MSR gearboxes.
And if 4WD (or more) is needed, timing belt or poly V belts will do nicely for me.

Hannibalito I uses 1 12V 3600mAh pack, and can do more than 1 fight on that.

          Hannibalito III uses a 4cell A123 battery.And thats only 2300mAh.

I would think one will be enough, In DB5 I use 1 2200 Nimh pack and it will last 30 minutes doing demos, usually 2-3 fights without being recharged.

1 pack will do fine indeed.

The stall current on speed 900s are 54A
WHAT SORT OF CONTROLLER CAN TAKE THAT?!?!?

Generally, any speed controller rated in excess of 54 amps should be able to take it...

You should only look at the peak current the speed controller can take in a burst, the nominal amperage of a speed 900 is about 8A. If you run the 900s at stall constantly you are doing something horribly wrong. Both the Scorpion XXL and the Sabretooth 25A will handle the speed 900s just fine.

Ben...common sense would dictate that if you have to ask what you need for something or how something works, you shouldnt attempt to do it...

The answers are all to be found on the internet, if only you would look.
