Re: Spiderbot

I have been doing a bit more on the Spiderbot, most of the initial leg restoration is finished. And the aluminium chassis is fitted in place. the legs do seem to be a little bit stiffer in the horizontal plane, so it may turn a little better than before.
There is always lots to do on this type of robot, and like Pilgrim I do get the feeling they are never complete, just a continual work in progress, but the fun is in the build.
Talking of building, I am putting together some ideas for the replacement Saint. So far I have the MAG motors some A123 batteries and some hubs and sprockets for the transmission.
It will probably be another thwack bot as everyone seems to like the crazy way that robot dose things.
Any Ideas for the new Saint post them here
I would like to make a robot that actually dose some damage, but I just don't have the heart.
Still this is all for another thread.
