      Looks rubbish

      *puts serious head on*
Looks quite compact, only being a drill and two wheels wide, so should leave enough weight to pack a punch.

        looks rate good!

i dont think he was using drills he was gonna use dewalt motors or something like that

I might be nitpicking here but surely deWalts come from drills, just very high end ones?

The design looks absolutely awesome though, very scary

            Me and Ed did abit on the PTDR today.. firstly we did the ignition panel;

Then we joined two engines together with a 30degree timing angle..

well, it finally happened, 360s over weight..

Cut the side armor down, took of the spikes and without the new BEC, 2 deans and a fuse its 5grams under weight...

Got to try and find 100gram somewhere, as id like to get it to around 13.5kg, so grants surface grinding 0.4mm of the base of the disc.. its the only place left to get a bit of weight from. Id like to claw enough weight back for the spikes if possible looks a bit bland without them hopefully 100g wont make a massive difference to the KE of the disc

Still having issues with the scorpion xxl cutting out- so thats going to hopefully get sent back for a replacement and the same with the disc controllers going of for repair as soon as i get the ok from castle creations to send them back.

could you upgrade to a123's to save weight ?
or are you allready on them

A123's aren't good enough. 360 runs on lipo packs much better discharge rates, much smaller and way lighter

Thats a great self RIGHTER, Just wondering, how do you drive the robot ? I drive either Left stick forward and back and right stick steering, or all on the right stick. You have the right stick sideways as the self-righter, do you drive all on the left ?

                            looking nice

and he uses a tx with the stearing wheel on it to drive it same as razer used to use

                              LOL my spelling sucks..

I drive it on a DX3R pistol grip, Kenny is my weapons man and does the throttle for the blade on the throttle channel of my DX7.. the self righter is done on the right hand stick.. pull left is to lift the arm up, let go and it automaticaly centralises...i set it up like that because its him who has to control it and its what suits him best

I never liked running a 2wd robot on a pistol grip but for a robot that drives like 360 or razer it feels alot more controlable...try to think of the steering wheel as the disc (or the crusher tip on razer), the rest of the robot rotates around it because my disc axle (or his claw tip) is smack between the two front wheels..

Hard to explain ill just let you drive it some time.

Ah I see, didn't realise it was on 2 remotes. I know what you mean about pivoting on the front of the robot, on razer and Hypno-disc/360 I just thought it was due to the Omni-wheels/disc on each respective robot, didn't really consider it to be a TX thing
