i use to do welding so it should be fine i think

plus i used my stick welder so it gives a better weld than mig if you know how to use them

Armour is only as strong as what's holding it on. If the welds can't take the stress, that 8mm steel will do you no good.

Unfortunately im not away this year

I will be announcing the entries this week, the days on which people will qualify will be next week and the live draw will be after. There are a lot of new spinners this year so I can see many machines not making it past their first battle. Fingers crossed they are all built well. Its not just about how thick your armour is

I don't think anyone will be 'taking out' NST any time soon; to well built.

Personally there are a few other machines I am worried about...

Cobalt II: Conker is pretty much exactly the right height for that beak to munch on.

720: Was surprised at how ineffective it was against Project X, and we have sloping titanium not 1mm steel, but if it gets a good hit round the back then it could really cause some damage.

Drumroll & Boner: Different machines, same fears. Those teeth could make a mess of the Ti given the chance.

Binky: I know it would be pretty crappy to be drawn against your own team mate but it could happen. We have yet to test it against anything but I am pretty sure it could give even Sam something to worry about cos I can see it going through Ti and Hardox.

There there are all the flipper but at least they cant damage the machines, just toss them around like cabers.

Wouldn't mind NST first round. Good to take out last years champ early on so I don't have to do it later on

NST isn't the only machine you want to worry about!

Sign ups and seedings first then they'll do the draw. Means you get to see who you'll 'potentially' be facing.....

Is it really a 3 in 1 chance you'll face last year's champ in the Qualifiers?

Oh ok. But that changes depending on day. If you're qualifying on a different day then you're good! If less bots are qualifying on the same day you are and NST you're stuffed.

NSTs not so tough :P Although i wouldnt wana fight it early on in the competition as it did badly damage ts2 last time

We have a 2.8 in 1 chance because we've entered two machines, which, let's face it, means we're going to be in the ring with NST twice, lol.
