Hopefully this time we won't need a bag to transport the robot after the comp.

Hopefully get better control on Tormenta 2's lifter, go LiPo, and beef the armour up a bit with the resulting weight freedom.

As for the second machine, it was going to be big and elaborate, but cost-wise it isn't possible this time. We're going to throw together a rambot, most likely, so that dad can have something to drive.

Cicatrix now has electronics that don't catch fire and a scoop that gives enough ground clearance to let the wheels touch the ground.

EJr is a new build which is night and day compared to the old one.

The moral of the story here though really is that anything we enter is going to be more competitive than my cousins entry 2 years ago, I think the only robot he actually took points from was your Gary?

Due to the over subscription of the UK Championship's we have now decided to run with 45 robot's in the competition. All spaces are filled and its looking like another great array of robot's

Thank you all for your support - we will let you know when the draw is going to take place!

(James and I will be going over and discussing the top 10 seed's from last years performance in a few weeks time). First I have a snowboarding holiday to go on

    I would have thought:

    1. NST / Sam
    2. Explosion / Me
    3. Little Hitter / Grant
    4. Cobalt / Kenny
    5. Mini Mighty Mouse / Trevor
    6. Ripoff / Wendy
    7. Beauty 3 / Jonno
    8. Drumroll / Jamie
    9. Venom / James
    10. 4 4 Toon / Clive

But I very much doubt that it'll be that as there is always some complication due to some robots not entering.

Last year not all 10 of the previous year's robots entered, so I guess some decisions had to be made. I'm assuming this would be based on Robot and Driver Skill.

Hi James, am I right to assume that the 10 seeds will be the top 10 from last year,if those drivers have signed up? And is it still the driver not the machine thats seeded as per previous years?

That's 42 robots and 2 reserves! 2 uk champions almost missed out!

Entry list will be published soon with seeds. Thank you everyone for the support. For those who unfortunately missed it don't forget our 3 day event at fleet is right after!

40 places filled up in just five days? That's mental!

Looking forward to seeing the list; Drumroll's pretty much finished (just a couple of small bits and pieces left) so plenty of time to plan my attacks

Assuming those two spots were briefly reserved, I have just signed up Tormenta 2 and another one.

Now we just have to build this other one.
