Johno, as feathers are only gettin one fight per show, any chance the feathers could have fights maybe before the show on the Saturday night and in the break between the shows on the Sunday?

We can allow fights early Sunday morning if you like.

Before the show Saturday there isn't really enough time as we will be getting setup for the even.
And I between the two shows on Sunday we will be getting things ready for the next show.

If it helps I can look at sorting out the feather fights on Sunday morning. I was planning to bring at least one feather along since we're only running 1 heavy.

Just made it home from what in our opinon has been the best event of the year so far. The atmosphere in the pits was amazing.At the break beteween the two shows it bordered on the bizarre to say the least.

A huge thanks goes out once again to Jonno, Trevor and the crew with a special mention to Alex Marler for helping to load and unload the machines inbetween the fights.

Congratulations to Michael with Eruption on becoming the first Robot Wars Champion since the TV show ended, and to Ant/Kane with Behemoth second and Rob with Iron Awe 5 third.

From the Toon perspective we had a reasonably succesfull event with TR2 at last starting to perform as we would wish and Toon Raider still fighting on and doing what it does.

Our first round comp fight didn't quite go to plan with The Saint taking out TR2s link with a thrusting blow from its sword. This was then followed up with Toon Raider possibly becoming the first robot to be stacked against the arena side wall and immobilised by The Saint. I did say the other day not to underestimate it!!!!!!
