The draw didnt bother me really. But to be honest I dont know what any of the other robots are really. I just wanted to get Flow into the arena to give it a test. The robot with the drive and the pneumatics system as it is now hasnt been in any fights so dont really know what to expect.

Anyone wanna tell me what the robots are and look like that flows drawn against?
I know theres Galactus that looks pretty awesome. Other than that theres only aftershock that I know of

Looks like we've got a bit more space this year, which will be nice!

I would like to point out to everyone that myself and Dan last year had the biggest hassle trying to get to the hall with our car on the Sat.
All the people that worked there (despite us quite plainly explaining ourselves) simply wouldn't believe we were part of an exhibition (I guess because it was a Sat) and repeatedly sent us to paid parking and the ticket office.

Last year we had (and I assume this year is the same) exhibitors parking (which is free) so make it clear that's where you need to go. Also make clear you need to go to a Hall to unload for an exhibition.

Pit space is probably the same as last year to be honest however the entrance and exit is tighter thats why we say if you want to watch the battles please stand outside the barriers around the arena please to avoid congestion in the the pits. Regretfully due to the nature of the event floor space is an extreme premium and we try to allocate as much as possible to the pits.
As long as you are early enough you can bring bits through the main entrance if you do not wish to queue up to get to the loading doors.
Yes roboteers should be able to park in the exhibitors car park.

Will it be possible to park a large (in the region of 7m long) motorhome in that car park, or will we have to work something else out?

That carpark was full of motorhomes/lorries and what not last year so I can't see why not.

PJ, I had exactly the same problem that Saturday. Security guards wouldn't raise the barrier, right? I ended up dragging everything from the front car park at 8:15. That building is a nightmare to pull things around.

When would you consider early for that front door, James?

I'll get onto them about getting round to the loading bay's. I know they do close them early (8/half8 maybe?) I'll keep you updated.

I try and get there before 8 so I can get straight in as soon as the door opens. Bare in mind though on Sunday everyone gets passes because it take down day so it gets very busy.

what time can we get to the NEC and when will we know fight times for each bout?
