Johnny 2x4- A 2wd wooden wedge bot. More details can be seen here viewtopic.php?f=240&t=4922

Speaking of wood, are there any other wooden robots? Not even my spiritual timber homeboy Block of Wood is there. So that 12 page thread in General Chat was for nought. :P

Tormenta (means Thunder in Spanish) (name may change...)

100mm wheels, 4x 12v drills at 18v, chopping board everything (varying from 5mm up to 20-25mm), electric 4-bar lifter.

Don't be fooled, it is made with really strong sellotape and really good rubber bands.

Kaizer: Invertible 4 wheel drive robot with screw thread powered lifting forks. Based on former Welsh Robot Wars champion Panic Attack, this machine represents Wales for the competition.

TS2- as of the minute a 2 wheel drive spinner.

3.5kg beater style weapon powered by a speed 900

may be rebuilding the chassis yet which will totally change the robot but will have to see

Not that I'm complaining, but how the hell did Drumroll manage to get 10th seed? It was utter cack last year!

Anyway, Drumroll: 2WD drum spinner, 15mm Nylon chassis and 4-6mm steel armour. Weapon weighs 2.3kg and is powered by a Scorpion brushless motor.
Carcinus: Unconventional (and possibly epic fail) three-wheel drive crab-bot, running 12V drills on 19.2V. Steel claws are only static, but will flash by in a blur as the robot heads straight for the pit
