  • Re: 2012 FRA UK Featherweight Championships by RoboChallenge

There are a few unrecognised names in the comp this time, like 'Conker'. Anyone want to own up to that one?

Im not aware of what many of these robots are like. If your entered could you please post a little bit about your machine so everyone knows what the competition is like. Thank you very much. I shall start -

Captain Scarlett - 4 wd drive ram bot with independent motors, speed controllers and batteries making it very difficult to immobilise... hence the name

4wd lifter driven by 4 GR01 motors running at 19.2v. the lifter is electric and the whole robot isn't very good

Bruiser 1 - reasonably heavy armed rambot, invertable, with a 4mm steel wedge 4 wheel drive.

Bruiser 2 - designed to be interchangeable, but only one weapon will be finished before the event, a verticle bar spinner, 4 wheel drive, quiet fast. But plans may easily change, at the moment it's probably going to weigh 15kgs+ lots of holes needed!
