As some of you know I work in audio and was thinking would people be interested in Audio intros much like those on Robot Wars?

From whatha ma call it in so and so ........ Thing a ma jig

Obviously this is my time pending, and whether RoboChallenge have the ability to play them back.

Thought it might add a bit of theatre, let me know.

My quaulifiers gradually get worse, flipper and a wooden bot, then good rammer and a spinner, but then spinner and hydraulic crusher

Might not see ReAvenger again, may run my old shell and save the re-build till after the champs

So I have Beauty 3 and 540 to contend with. I don't actually know much about v3 but Beauty 2, obviously, was very successful. Just my luck, the team that won the title two years in a row! Brilliant! Fantastic! Splendid! Oh God.

540; massively powerful, lethal weapon, indestructible, very fast and very good driver.

Oh well, we'll take plenty of bin bags. I guess our luck could have been worse, then again it could have been significantly better.

See you there! (If we don't run away )

Round one you should be fine, wave bye bye in round two though, wood and LS4 are a great mic for damage

Chuck and Tiny Toon? Don't think my chances are entirely non-existent, lol.

Also, our robot is called Tormenta. It seems to have gained an i at some point in the drawing process.

Edit: just noticed; Inertia and NST?!

Block of Wood vs LS4 last year was surprisingly disappointing. Hardly any splinters or sawdust

And Ellis, don't worry about it. Inertia XL spent the whole of last year's champs being called Inertia XT, and Carcinus has a different spelling every time

It's a horizontal bar spinner which is currently still on bits!

My second qualifier sees both my robots fighting each other i cant believe i will have to (try to) destroy my own robot! Unlucky for Murfies law though.

Your dad will be pleased with that draw Jamie, even if he just manages to enter the arena for all of his fights he's already equalled what Drumroll got last year

I got the same amount of points as Drumroll with Cicatrix, so it was also kind of a dig at myself too. All just friendly banter

Thats the thinking behind it there PJ:

                                True story
And that will probably be the best Carcinus has ever performed!

The lack of active weapon on it is bugging me though, might go back to it and see if I can fit a spinner in there somewhere...

The draws have been pretty kind to both robots though. Not so much in terms of easy opponents, but more by the fact that damage should be minimal (with possible exception of Drumroll's third fight, which is against another drum and a horizontal bar). Nice also to see the amount of new robots featuring this year, as well as entries from Portugal and Spain. Should be a brilliant competition
