yeah true, have you done any spin up tests yet of that motor? be interesting to see how fast it spins up.

Very unsafe spin-up tests, that involved me holding the motor in my hand with a belt running to the drum. Because of that I didn't crank it up to full pelt straight away, I just let it build gradually - got to half throttle and started to get a bit worried about losing fingers so left it at that

Gonna wait till I've got it properly mounted before running full tests, but I don't see it being as quick as the Speed 900s, so I might need to get Hornet to lead the line while the drum builds speed

Well i hope we draw beauty first, didnt get to fight it at uk champs and i was looking forward to fighting it. Then we can take out those scottish lads with there lil vert spinners

With exception of dear Savage Evo, my record against horizontals is pretty good so I fancy my chances

As much as Savage Evo/360 vs Hornet 2/Drumroll in a tag match would make for one hell of a viewing experience, shouldn't we all be ganging up on those damn flippers! Can't let them win this time

Well yea. Kill the flippers first. Can we at least try to cut through a CO2 bottle this time? That would look awsome.
But when it comes down to Drumroll and Hornet 2 Vs Savage and 360 in the final (yeah thats right 4 spinners in the final, whos gunna stop us? A flipper? I think not ) its going to be Horizontal Spinners FTW!
I gotta admit ill be hiding behind 360 most of the time but thats not cos im scared... Honest (maybe just a lil scared)

Lol no problem Dave, if hornet gets screwed theres another machine in development to take its place :wink:

Plus theres a good reason I paired with drumroll.......that big hardox arse on it :P

EDIT: I guess its not the best time to mention that the big hardox arse probably won't feature on the new chassis? :|
Good news though is that it will be replaced with a titanium arse instead - one that will have 12mm of polypro underneath that for good measure

Don't think Bullseye's gonna go any further. Too light and small for any development. I'll probably put the chassis back in the form of Mini-Rover (footy guides etc). The robot my dad can drive will be Incisor/Cuddles but that'll be after the tag champs, by which point I'll hopefully have Snakebite running for George to drive.

The hardox wedge will still be used on Drumroll Mk.1 as I want to keep that as a back-up/whiteboard machine. Once I've got cash to spare I'll probably get Kenny to conjure up another drum so I've got one per machine.

as soon as I can find around a grand for new parts and the time to put it together properly. I'm hoping next years FW champs but I make no promises. This one will make hornet look cuddly Tom

right for the sign up does each person do a sign up? and build their own dragster?
