              Just to bring some diversity to the discussion, here is the list of robot types from the RioBotz tutorial, since so far we have just been talking in terms of HP systems, spinners and Rambots.

              rammers, wedges, lifters, launchers, thwackbots, overhead thwackbots, spearbots, horizontal spinners, sawbots, vertical spinners, drumbots, hammerbots, clampers, crushers, flamethrowers and multibots
              Of those we can use:

              Rammers (Rambots/Boxes)
              Wedges
              Spearbots
              Thawkbots
              Overhead Thwackbots
              Multibots (Cluserbots)
              Lifters
              Launcher (Flippers)
              Hammerbots (Axes)
              Clampers (Grabbers)
              Crushers

              Half of that legal list doesn't have active weapons and a third of the total list are banned already.

                    I thought that with modern flippers anything really light would go through the roof? especially with heavyweights.

                      heavyweight clusterbots aren't banned they're just not allowed to fight flippers anymore. as most heavies are flippers most people tend not to build them

                                Well as a direct result of this thread I have now set out to make my first feather with an axe instead of a lifter. It's got four wheel drive too, so you better be scared! It's made of chopping boards! Terrifying right?!
