    The Crash & Burn Tournament

    HEAT A
    ROUND 1
Knightrous Wedge VS. TOBY THE T-RAM ENGINE

    Oh, you wee git, you.
Not much I really can do here except try and keep to the sides at all times and shunt it into any obstacle I can find. If all else fails, I can always take legal action against him for damaging an endangered engine.

Y4: A drum eh? Just stay away from it AMAP.

Leprosy Infection: Oh, thank you VERY much! Just try to damage it, or bulldoze it around.

Orka MK4: LA Machine...Actually, Im not sure what its technicalities are, so I cant really say. Just flip it is my best bet.

Axe-O-Lotl: Pummel continuously, show no mercy.

Obliteration: Spin up, and try to do any damage possible.

Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus: If this is the S4 version of Knightmare (which, in theory, it should be), just flip it constantly until it breaks down.

Bulldog Breed: The fact that it has already beaten TAN means nothing. Just try and pit it, or get it OOTA if I can.

Mega Masher: Hope my wedge is lower than Storms, and that my traction is greater.

Confound you Kody! lol, why do I get the feeling that was somewhat intentional....

Sure it was intentional as well. Look at all the grudge matches and similar robot matches...

Clawdius Decimus Murderous VS. Gigabyte Evilution - two crushers

Starstorm 2 VS. Gravity - Two uber flippers

Biohazard VS. Megabyte - check my youtube link

The Disc 5 VS. Slammer V - Possibly the greatest vapour bot grudge match going

Tengu VII VS. Whirligig 4.0 - Two FBSs

And thats without even looking hard.

          The Crash & Burn Tournament

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...DYING TIMES HERE!!!

Oh wait, thats off of another card . Wait, Ive got the right one right here. Ahem...

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, prepare for Heat A of the CRASH & BURN TOURNAMENT!

          Our first two robots are...

AXEON, with its front 8mm hardox-armoured wedge, and hugely powerful rack-and-pinion powered axe that can punch holes in titanium! It also has a fan/vacuum set-up to prevent it from jumping around. But is it too powerful for its own good?

and JIM STRUTS from Series 2. Not much to say here; a box on struts, obviously, with a big face painted on the front. It has poor speed, and it doesnt seem like it can put up much of a fight...

          Roboteers, stand by...

The house robots be-eth Dead Metal and Growler.

          3...
          2...
          1...
          ACTIVATE!

And so begineth the C&BT! And Axeon is off to a good start, slamming into the walker and slamming its axe into the mocking face. And the face doesnt look too good now, with a gaping hole right where the nose should be! Axeon pulls loose, nearing wrenching Jim Struts onto its own face, and goes for another attack. But Mr. Struts has tried to turn sideways, and so Axeon collides with one of the legs. The axe falls again! This time, the axe blow glances a little off of the face, gauging a long scratch on the material. Axeon, seeing his opponents doom near at hand, pulls the axe loose and mercilessly begins to hammer the walker into submission. By now, Jim Struts face has now been replaced by several large holes courtesy of Axeon, and I must say, they make a giant improvement! Jim Struts tries to get away, but Axeon has no thought of letting this one go to the judges and drives further into Jim Struts. The wedge comes underneath the stompbot and suddenly Jim Struts finds himself pulling a wheelie! Not really, as he has no wheels, but...anyway, Axeon pushes forward even more to try and tip the walker over, but Jim Struts is not going to let that happen as he tips over top of Axeon and stomps away. Axeon, livid as hell, turn

                        Heat A
                        Aquarius Vs. Kali
Hm...Not much either of us can do to the other except push. Just try for an early OOTA.
                        Heat B
Terror Gear 3 VS. Mother Of All Bricks IE
Uh oh. Just try to pit it, if by some random actof Saddam and Satan that works. Sigh...
Though TG3 dies, La Resistince carries on...

                        Heat C
Vampire Killer VS. Metal Sonic Spin Dash
Or not. Juet try to keep my front towards his so we meet spinner to spinner. I have two large horizontil discs opposed to one kinda small one, so I might be able to deal more damage. After that, try not to be pitted...

                        Heat D
ArchAngel of the Abyss VS. Heart of Fire
Sheesh. What do you think my team name is Kody, Team Kenny?! Let one of them live!
Just stay spun up all the time..not much to say, since no matter which angle I attack, itll be the same result...most likley HoF getting destroyed. :P But just always stay spun up and move around just enough so Im not counted out for mmobility.

                        Heat E
                        Bloody Tears 2 VS. Aneurysm

                        Sorry, I had to.
Anyways, try to Beat Andy Outta Andy and let him attack the sides, which wont be that importiant in this fight. A flywheel that powerful cant have drawbacks...but if that dosent work, just try to flip it and let the disc hit the floor. THATLL make it go berserk until its sick, while doing the twist. [AHHH HAAA]

                        Heat F
                        Breed VS. Shovearound 2
Heh. It figures I get both of Andys Nirvana bots.
Shovearound 2 has lost to a cluster in the past [Going Crunch] Very similar to this. Ill try not to make that mistake again. Catch the Tree Builder off guard, then get under and lift it to the pit. Then pit the House Planter, then drive in the pit so we can have all three. [She said]

                        Spawn Again VS. Infusion Beta

                        Eh..try to flip it OOTA.
Dont hurt me Mr. Knight! Ill be a good boy, I promise!*hides under covers*
Ah who cares, crush it to peices.

                        Heat H
                        The Great Cornholio VS. IDSFA
Hm. Try to lift it from the side and feed it to the house robots. Try to get away if Frank sees an opening to flip me.

                          The Crash & Burn Tournament

Just to let everyone know, I have re-created the Team Gore Robotics forum (because I forgot my password on my last one, and someone has recently started spamming on it :P). I will be copying the vapourbot/robot stats, the heats, and the fights there. However, being utterly stupid as I am, I had forgotten to copy Terror Gear 3s stats on my computer, and since the FAR forum is under maintenance, I cant get the stats. However...I am re-starting the first fight of this tourney. NOW.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...DYING TIMES HERE!!!

Oh wait, thats off of another card . Wait, Ive got the right one right here. Ahem...

                          Roboteers, stand by...

The house robots be-eth Dead Metal and Growler. (if its all right, Id like to get some help for some house bots; I have some names already)

                          3...
                          2...
                          1...
                          ACTIVATE!

So it begins! WHOA! Axeon has hurled itself across the arena already, and has struck the legs of Jim Struts. He must want the pain to begin fast! The walker rides overtop of the hacker, and with a slight BANG lands back down. But Axeon has found its way to the back of Jim Struts, and brings down that 2 tonnes of force in a devastating axe blow that punctures Jim Struts backside like a sheet of paper! If the walkbot had a real mouth, he would be screaming in torment as he now tries vainly to get away from Axeon, but that 15mph speed beats Jim Struts as AJs bot circles around Jim Struts to face the front. Axeon apparently has no thought of letting this poor excuse for a microwave reach a judges decision and so barrels right into the front of Jim Struts, sliding the front wedge under the legs and throwing him right on top of Axeon. The axe fires again, but being right underneath Jim Struts the point merely taps the underbelly of the walker, causing little to no damage. However, Axeon has a completely devilish idea and turns right around to face the wall...right in front of the angle grinder! Is he going to? YES! Axeon hurls himself straight into the arena wall, still with Jim Struts on top of him, and one of Jim Struts legs meets the angle grinder in a brilliant flash of sparks! This result is not pretty, as the leg is now hanging onto Jim Struts by a few wires and cables. But the final result of this smash into the wall is even worse: Jim Struts has been propped up against the wall at a perfect 45 degree angle, and the legs are not moving! Axeon, having backed away as Jim Struts fell against the wall, rams him again, and this may have brought Jim Struts back into the game, as he falls right back onto his legs, which work again immediately, and tramples off towards the pit release. But Axeon lets him be for a moment, and decides to have a go at the house bots. Hurtling straight into Growler, Axeon gets the wedge underneath the doggy and digs into him with the axe. How about that? The axe actually harmed Growler! Seemingly trapped between the axe and wedge, Growler watches as Jim Struts walks right into the pit release, opening the depth of doom that we know as the pit. Axeon turns, just in time to see Dead Metal collide with Growler, who is still trapped. Dead Metal tries to get around Growler, but Axeon shoves Dead Metals bud right into him. Uh oh! Refbot has held up that yellow card! Axeon releases Growler, sulking, and both Growler and Dead Metal return to their CPZs. Axeon returns his attention to Jim Struts, who is walking right towards him with no intention of stopping. Needless to say, its a great effort of courage, but still vain as Axeon plows right into him and buries the axe once more into Jim Struts, and again the axe delivers major effect, shearing through the armour of the walker with little difficulty. Axeon then shoves forward, driving Jim Struts onto the wedge, and forcing his own axe back a bit, and shoves him towards the pit - OH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING, GROWLER?! That danged house robot rammed Axeon from the side and nearly tipped him over! Jim Struts, however, HAS been tipped over, and flails about hopelessly as Refbot sidles over and begins the omnious countdown...

                          One...two...three...four...five...six...seven...ei ght...nine...TEN!

Well, Jim Struts might be out, be Axeon is still taking on Growler...who has just been shoved into the pit. And thats that.

                          CEASE!

Jim Struts might need a cane after that.
                          AXEON ADVANCES TO ROUND TWO!

Coming up: Knightrous Wedge VS. Toby the T-Ram Engine

I would have said Axeon, really

Knightrous Wedge VS. Toby the T-Ram Engine
Knightrous Wedge to ram Toby into submission

                                NSBFR-X VS. Y4
Not entirely sure, but NSBFR-X probably is the most succesfull interchangable bots out there, enabling him to counter Y4 succesfully

                                Aquarius Vs. Kali
Very hard to call, two simple yet effective designs IMO, Im going for the rambot here
