      Hello and welcome to the Spanish Inquisition, where 8 robots will fight it out for the chance to win€¦

      Don€™t tell me it isn€™t worth fighting for, €˜cos everything I do I do it for you.

      Love Bite V 2.0 vs. Hit Me

      In the red square, Love Bite V2. Chris€™ double wedge machine has a firestorm style srimech on the front wedge, and a pair of hydraulic pincers to cut and ram robots all around the arena, and hopefully down into the pit.

      In the blue square, Hit Me. Tim€™s debut fight, with his 3 wheeler, with a LEM 130 powering the rear two wheels, via what must be a complex system to get the turning circle down to 1mm. It has two flippers, one to flip, and the other to self-right, so it is hoping to flip the other robots over the fence to victory.

      And both robots are away, Love Bite accelerating to its maximum speed, with the pincers open, ready to pinch up a robot. Hit Me is also accelerating towards Love Bite, as they are heading towards each other. 3 seconds later, the first blood is drawn, as Love Bite is underneath Hit Me, and the pincers start to do whatever pincers do and crush into the titanium shell of Hit Me, and starts to push backwards, the wheels spinning on Hit Me, trying to get grip, but Love Bite has got Hit Me in it€™s bite, and turns and takes Hit Me towards the house robot.

      Every Flip I Take, moves forward, flipper ready for action, as Love Bite pushes Hit Me onto the wedge, before letting go, as Hit Me is flipped over by the flipper, as Love Bite runs away towards the pit release. Another flip from Every Flip I Take, prevents Hit me from self-righting, as Love Bite slams into the upturned box, and crushes into the plastic top, which bends downwards before a large bang is heard as pieces of plastic are sent everywhere, as the top end of Hit Me is exposed.

      Love Bite 2 pulls backwards, onto Hit Me, and takes it towards the pit, because Chris doesn€™t want to waste time, because his favourite television show is on the television in a few minutes, as he slam-dumps Hit Me, 6 feet underneath and into a cloud of the finest smoke, as Love Bite turns, Chris with a smile on his face.

      Walk Away vs. Back to Rock II


      In the red square, Walk Away. This walker with a ring spinner, which can rise up and down to prevent robots from getting underneath and flipping it over.

      In the blue square, Back to Rock 2. This entry from Holland, reminds you off a brick, but with a hydraulic lifter at the front, and pussycat style blade imbedded in the lifter.

      Walk Away starts to walk out of the red square, as Back to Rock 2, gets ready for its attack, as Martijn is waiting for the right time, holding back from Walk Away, which is walking towards Back to Rock 2, as Martijn turns and comes into with an attack. Tony raises his legs, as Walk Away drops to the floor, as Back to Rock 2 slams into the front plough with it€™s two wedge tips, which run flat along the ground, with very shallow angles, as Back to Rock 2 gets underneath the front plough, as Tony€™s worse nightmare has come true, as Back to Rock gets right underneath Walk Away with it€™s momentum, as the saw hits the spinning ring, and is bent out of shape, but Martijn lifts up Walk Away, so that it€™s legs are not on the ground any more.

      A quick slam into the arena wall behind Walk Away, doesn€™t do anything to flip the walker onto it€™s back, as Tony is helpless, as the ring has stalled, after making a lovely scar in the front lifter on Back to Rock 2, as Martijn turns, seeing the spike in the distance, starts to push Walk Away, which is trying to walk away from the lifter, but hasn€™t got the speed, as Back to Rock holds Walk Away over the spikes, as they come up, lifting Walk Away up and landing it onto it€™s top. The little legs inside moving back and forward, as Ref is counting Walk Away out.

      1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, as the red card is shown to Walk Away, as Every Flip I take is released to cause mayhem with Tony€™s robot, as the flipper is underneath the upside-down robot, as the house robot turns, and pushes Walk Away towards the arena hammer, as it swings down, smashing into the underside, causing no damage to the Hardox. As Every Flip I Take, pushes Walk Away towards the opened pit, and flips it down.

      Back to Rock slams into the rear of Every Flip I Take, lifting up the rear wheels, but the rear end of Back to Rock has started to come up from the ground due to the weight of Every Flip I Take, but Martijn drives the house robot down into the pit

      Star 69 vs. Salamander


      In the red square, from Essex, Star 69. Martyn€™s Star robot returns, with a fresh lick of paint, new batteries, but it is still the same robot, with storm 2 style drive chain, and with a spinning ring on the outside.

      In the blue square, Salamander 3. Alex€™s axlebot with a horizontal disc in the middle, hoping to cut it€™s way to that rare piece of paper

      At once, Star 69 is away from the red square, spinning its outer shell up to speed, and speeding towards Salamander 3, as Alex has his disc up to speed, as both robots are coming together. At the last second, Star 69 dodges the attack made by Salamander 3, and tries to get around to the exposed wheels. Alex turns on the spot, and narrowly avoids a damaged wheel, as both discs slam together and bounce away without causing any damage due to both weapons spinning counter-clockwise to each other.

      Star 69 is spun around, as Salamander 3 comes onto the attack, but once more can€™t get pass the weapon of Star 69, as Martyn turns and comes slamming into Salamander 3, driving straight into the disc, but being brushed aside, as one of the teeth hit onto the right hand side wheel, but no damage is done, as Salamander 3 spins on the spot to keep it€™s disc at Star 69, as Martyn once more comes onto the attack, but this time attacking the pit release tyre, ripping it off the wall, and cutting it up into 3 pieces, as Salamander 3 comes back towards Star 69.

      Alex is working out the best place to attack, by running though Star 69 into his pocket computer, which is hidden in his trousers; there is a goddess on the highway as well, but enough of the traffic news and back to the fighting, which has seemed to have stopped, as both robots are circling each other, as Star 69 makes another break, slamming into Salamander 3€™s disc, but once more, both robots are sent away, but Martyn turns and slams into Salamander 3 once more, this time, Salamander 3 has turned, and Martyn puts on the power and slams straight onto the wheel, causing it to bend under the pressure, as you can see where it has started to come away from the main chassis, the welding hasn€™t held up on that bike frame material. Star 69 comes in with another slam, this time, the wheel is sent away, for a spin, as Salamander 3 goes onto it€™s chassis, as it dies, the power link system has come away, with the removal of some of the electrics.

      Ref is coming over to count out Salamander 3, as Star 69 slams into the other wheel, ripping that wheel away from the body, after a second attempt, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 and there goes the red card. And we all know what the red card means€¦

      €¦The house robot comes out from corner and slams straight into Salamander 3, and flips it over, although that doesn€™t do anything, Emma feels that it was a laugh, as she flips Salamander 3 again. Star 69 slams into the rear of Every Flip I Take, but it is reflexes away, as another flip onto Salamander 3, sends it crashing down into the pit, as the house robot reverses onto Star 69 and forces it backwards.

      Star 69 wins over Salamander 3 via KO in 4:14.

      Flank Attack 2: Divisionary Tactics vs. Battle Raptor 4


      In the red square, Flank Attack 2: DT. Alex€™s pride and joy, based around Tough as Nails, except for hydraulics in-place of co2, and little rubber parts in the insides of the claws to hug spinners. It is fast across the arena, but if it comes up against something where it hasn€™t got the power, it can find it hard.

      In the blue square, Battle Raptor 4. Richard is back, with a robot which looks like Hydra/Mortis. With 4 wheel drive, making it invertible, a front co2 powered flipper, and front electrical driven axe. Skirts come as standard, so does Hardox armour, so Battle Raptor is a favourite.

      Both robots are away, being shot out of cannons, as Richard is looking to get his flipper into the act, as Alex is trying to crush to victory, but the biggest concern is that Flank Attack€™s weapon is underpowered to attack the sides of Battle Raptor 4. Richard goes straight at Flank Attack, as Alex is thinking what on hell to do with a robot he can€™t crush, push head-on, or get under with his rear plough.

      Battle Raptor 4 makes the first blood, getting underneath the front end of Flank Attack, and pushing it backwards, as the wheels on Flank Attack are spinning, trying to get traction on the steel floor, which has been degreased before the battle, as Battle Raptor 4 fires it€™s flipper, sending Flank Attack up, but crashing into the upper half of the lower wall. Alex€™s machine comes down to earth, but Battle Raptor 4 is onto it like a shot, like a puppy onto the vicar, it could be said.

      Flank Attack is hit once by the axe, but doesn€™t do any damage, but it has given Richard a hold, as he pushes it towards the arena pit release. Flank Attack€™s rear end has depressed the pit button, as the pit suddenly opens, like a flash of lightning, as Battle Raptor 4 flips the foe again to get a better grip. Once more Flank Attack hits just above the half-metre mark on the wall, and on it€™s way down, Flank Attack€™s claw pulls away a piece of the plywood on the way down. So that is a note, place the plywood higher, so that pieces can not be clawed down.

      Battle Raptor 4 is onto Flank Attack once more. However, Alex gets away from Battle Raptor 4, and goes for a drive, as the wood is hanging there, but let€™s move back, as the upper half of the lower wall is down, showing the world the original low wall, as Flank Attack turns and comes towards Battle Raptor 4, but once more, goes straight up the wedge, as the axe fires, pushing Flank Attack over onto it€™s side, and falling down onto it€™s top, before Battle Raptor 4 scoops underneath it with the wedge. Richard now drives at full speed towards the arena wall, and flips Flank Attack straight over the fence, and straight onto the randomly placed arena camera, smashing it, before falling to the floor.

          Nice fight. Hmm, tictacs, its a spinner, so i have to keep on it and hope my armour can take the punishment. I need to get to it before it spins up fully and never allow it to if i am able, basically, be a pain in the butt.

            Battle Raptor 4 vs. Back to Rock 2

            hit, hit, hit, and especially the sides and rear

            Battle Raptor is a very good design, so I think it would be smart to just keep on hitting him, not creating an oppurtunity for him to turn the duel in his favour, sawing away some pieces of skirt in the process

            I now this tactic will be hard to pull off against a sleak and manouverable machine such as Battle Raptor, but Ill most certainly give it a try

              Keep at Back To Rock 2s sides and rear, and try to turn him over then axe his underbelly, or just axe him if I cant turn him over.

                3 Tons of force is underpowered against 4mm of a metal? Dont forget, thats 3 tons of force on each tip of the robot. Thats 6 tons squeezing you together. Hardox isnt invicible. It doesnt matter what kind of armor is up against a crusher, its usually the framework inside.

                  Alex, not even Razer can break though Titanium with 9 tonnes at the back of the ram. It even gave up on the dutch champion in the euro championships.

                      You need a 10 tonne press to shape hardox, so I guess a robot with less then 8 tonnes of crushing force has no chance of bending it let alone piercing it....

                        4mm hardox is very very VERY hard to dent, hell, not even Brian Boitano can damage 4mm hardox and Aaron helped me with the weapon. Youre seriously underestiming Hardoxs strength, its powerful stuff. Dump truckss dumps or whatever [im lazy...i havent gotten any sleep last night and i cant remember, i need coffee...] use 6mm hardox [thanks to Aaron for the info] and they rarley get any dents, no matter what kind of crap they dump. Aaron knows alot more about motors and metals than alot of people here, and he dosent really have motive to be making stuff up, so if he says it, chances are, hes right.

                          Oh, one other thing, i keep my front to him, i have a zero turning circle, i can do that, trying to clamp an FBS isnt a good idea methinks, that and if the front is taking a lot of damage, i have the back of the bot to use.
