Mephistopheles decides to go to Aces and see if Hewlit is there. He isn€™t, but the bar is a bit fuller than the last time he was there. The pool tables are all occupied by what looks like a group of friends having a pool tournament, various groups of people are at the tables, and a tall woman with gold skin and green hair is standing at the bar. Johnny the lizard man is not in evidence, but there is a solid-built man with sandy hair and an honest, open face and a small woman with faintly blue skin behind the bar.

€œWhat can I get you?€ she asks.
€œActually I wanted to ask you something,€ Mephistopheles replies.
€œYeah, like what?€
Mephistopheles doesn€™t seem to have a firm question in mind though. When he hesitates, she continues.
€œLook, it€™s really busy in here. If it€™s about the meet in three days, speak to Ace,€ she says, indicating the sandy haired man, before going off to take an order.
