    Hmm, if Danny wants to team up, then I can go after Hell Machine while Supreme Glory Gamma can go after Another Twist of Fate (or I can go after ATOF and Danny can take on HM), either way, make quick work of Hell Machine by grabbing onto it with the pincers and pitting it on the first chance. Then assist Danny in taking out ATOF, try and stop the spin with the claws and then let SGG get a few whacks of it, try and get Another Twist of Fate down the pit as quickly as possible also.

      I have decided to use the regular scoop and go for the rear of hypno ram it into the wall it will hopfuly knock it self out if not treat it to a trip to the pit, sorry tony but i think after that i will have to try and pit bits of your cluster bot however i will only pit 2 or 3 the other 2 or 1 i will leave Kali is dangerous and should be avoided

        4 Swords VS Hypno Disc VS Kali VS T.I.R.T.A.S.M. (13)

        If anything, 4 Swords will not win this. Tonys plan is good, but Hypno Disc is just too fast for those multibots. Plus his disc will probably knock out each of them easily. Kali will most definatly go through though. Not sure about T.I.R.T.A.S.M, though I think he has a good chance too.

          Go for the parts of the clusters - pitting, as otherwise they could be annoying, hypno has quite a high clearance and should be an each target after this, get round the side so that if I flip it and push it against a wall it cant self right.

            Hypno-Disc and the seed to go through and the other one HM and NCS3 and to the answer to the other question because its barely realies going through to semi-finals in these type of tourneys.

                      En guarde! Here to prove that the pen is nowhere near as mighty as the sword, Tonys latest clusterbot takes to the arena. Say hello to Excalibur, a 2WD wedge with a rear vertical spinny disc; Ragnarok, a Ziggo-styled full-body spinner; Masamune, a 4WD invertible cylinder with spinny shell; and Murasame, a 4WD invertible box with a front horizontal flywheel. With the obvious advantage of numbers and top speeds of up to 18mph on the fastest segment, this cruel quartet can easily irritate and outmanouevre even the most nimble of Heavyweights. However, the fact that each part is only 25kg makes them prime for pushing all over the place and with pretty minimal armour, the 4 Swords could be blunted pretty easily here.

                      Youd have to be blind, deaf, mad or all three to be a roboteer and not have heard of Hypno Disc. Known as the robot which revolutionised (pun intended) the design of spinners in the UK, this low boxs horrible horizontal flywheel could get up to speeds of 1000rpm and consequently made it to three British Grand Finals and the first PTT Final as a result! Combined with a healthy mix of steel and aluminium armour, this wonderful whirligig can take just as much as it can dish out and its high manoueverability means that few will get their hands on it when it gets going. However, for all its destructive power, its self-righting arm takes an age to operate and the four wheels are completely exposed to attacks from all sides. Baring this in mind, will Hypno Disc spin to win once more? :wink:

                      Whoop-te-doo. Another Storm clone. :wink: Being named after the Hindu Goddess of Destruction, though, Kali is more than just another quaint homage. The main weaponry on this brutal box-wedge includes a pneumatic Biohazard-style flipping arm (complete with spatula) and the spectacular pushing power from its twin LEM-130 motors running at 48v. Throw in a heap of polycarbonate and aluminium boron carbide and dizzying speeds of 25mph and its not hard to see why its gaining a lot more respect these days. The invertible frame makes it nigh on invulnerable to flippers, but the six wheels are left exposed to attacks from above as a result and with such ludicrous high speeds, lack of control could give Kali a very ungodlike performance.

                      Bought from AJ during Vapourbot eBays brief lifespan, The Interchangable Robot That Andy Sold Me has managed to remain a star even when under new management. Essentially, it just looks like a 4WD box, but Martyn has a whole heap of different weapons he can use and remove for a particular duel. From a thick Hardox scoop n flail to a vertical spinny drum to a pair of electric lifting forks and more, Mr Forsyth certainly came prepared this time around. Along with the array of weaponry, too, this PTT veteran has enough pushing power to rival even the infamous Storm and the invertibility means that theres no need for a srimech here. Unfortunately, the four Vulcalon wheels remain vulnerable to axes n claws and 20mph speeds will very much hinder control. Will T.I.R.T.A.S.M. end up on the market again after this War?

                      House Robots - The Taxman and Michael Pliers

                      ACTIVATE!!!!!!!!!!

                      Within seconds, the 4 Swords crew has split...and now all four bots are launching an assault on Hypno Disc! Wedged Excalibur dashes around to the back, ring-spinner Masamune heads for the left, Ziggo-esque Ragnarok goes for the right, while boxy Murasame heads straight for the disc itself! However, that legendary flywheel has already begun picking up pace and clips the top of the skirted cube as it charges over! In an attempt to swat the Lightweights away, Dave swings his award-winning realie around and also manages to smack into Masamune too! The blades collide and the 25kg spinner comes off the worse here as it gets flung away! Excalibur, meanwhile, has managed to scrape under Hypnos rear end and has just started trying to shove it across the ring (with difficulty) when T.I.R.T.A.S.M. comes steaming into view! The scoop bashes into the wee widdle wedge and the No.13 seed promptly smashes it into the nearby arena wall! Just as Hypno Disc tries warding off the rest of the 4 Swords crew by spinning on the spot, an all-too familiar siren echoes across the battlefield! Kalis just opened up the Void and now, its come rocketing back down the ring like...well...a rocket! With a mighty crash, the Stormish newcomer sends the three Lightweights that were harrassing Hypno scattering away! However, Alex isnt finished with them just yet and easily catches up with the slower Ragnarok! The spinner shell makes contact with the tough titanium wedge of the Heavyweight and stops it almost immediately! Taking advantage of this, Kali scrapes underneath the dome shape of its lighter rival and shoves it right down the ring and into the Void with one burst of speed! In the meantime, T.I.R.T.A.S.M. has been taking Excalibur on a little sightseeing tour of the arena, abruptly stopping when the No.13 seed shoves it into The Taxmans corner! The wee wedge ends up smacking right into the House Robots spinning coin and actually gets knocked back out of the Patrol Area with a rather impresive barrel roll! Before the little blighter can regain its senses, Martys machine is back underneath and rams it back down the arena as Kali, Masamune and Murasame gang up and shunt Hypno Disc into another wall! But its bad news for Tony and the twins as the No.13 seed casts Excalibur into the Void...and with half the segments knocked out, all the segements are out!
                      The 4 Swords failed to buckle our swash! Duel really have to try harder next time, Tonys!
                      With the remaining Masamune and Murasame now immobile as per the rules, only the Heavyweights remain! Hypno Disc just manages to wriggle out from between Kali and the wall and darts back into the arena centre, famous flywheel revving up once more! However, the two rammers seem to have made a little pact beforehand, as both Alex and Martys machines start charging towards the PTT1 Finalist! Uncertain if it can damage such heavily-armoured bots, Dave swerves out of the line of fire and very nearly makes Kali and T.I.R.T.A.S.M. crash! However, Hypno isnt out of the woods yet, as the duo regains their senses and once again heads after the thrice RW Finalist! As slightly the quicker, Kali gets to it first, bumping into the spiked rear and ramming it flywheel-first into the bottom fence! Instantly, the spinner is halted and before Dave and Chris can do anything about it, Alexs Stormish competitor slams back under the side, shoves Hypno Disc alongside the barrier and dumps the PTT1 bronze medallist into the Void to join Ragnarok and Excalibur!

                      CEASE!!!!!

                      Hypno Disc proves to be more hype than hypno, as our former Finalist falls at the first hurdle again!

                      It may look like Corkscrew and Typhoons unholy offspring, but Franks latest entrant is going to make sure it doesnt screw up another shot at the title. Resembling a sinister helter-skelter, this 4WD lampshade is a full-body spinner with a difference - it only has one long Hardox blade, which wraps around and up the shell like a squeezing cobra and is designed to both rip and flip anyone that comes in contact with it! The fact that it produces 50 to 60kJ per blow shows that this isnt just a novelty creation and the 5mm titanium/vanadium shell will cope with plenty of punishment along its way. But despite this, the design is yet to be tested in a combat situation and with no real self-righter to help it, Another Twist of Fate could experience a unpleasant turn of events

                      FROM CARTERTON, IN OXFORDSHIRE, HELL MACHINE!

                      Forged in the depths of the underworld itself and with the NSBFL 3 championship trophy to boot, it is right to be fearful of Hell Machine. A backwards wedge with a scooped front at first glance, a closer inspection reveals a vicious LEM-CO axe at the front and a linear actuated arm on the sloped rear end. Driven through the gearbox, the hammer is capable of delivering approximately 3 tonnes per blow, while the arm can pick up nearly 600kg - hellish indeed! Along with this, Mr Westons top bot also sports a strong mix of titanium and steel armour and with twin MagMotor C40s producing 12hp and 15mph top speeds, ramming is one of Daves specialities here. But despite this, the lifting arm takes its time in getting to work and with a well-known weakness against spinners, it may not be long before Hell Machine is sent home to face Beelzebot again!

                      Hey, I didnt know Kan Opener was coming back to the PTT this year...oh wait. Its just the new No Close Shave. Evidently taking heed of the Brit bots Annihilator successes, Mattys latest incarnation has gone from wedge to invertible hexagon and replaced its old crushing arm with a nasty set of horizontal pincers at the front. The claws are made from 4 mil Hardox and operate at 1500psi, so this is one machine you definately dont want a cuddle from! A 6mm titanium/vanadium shell will provide great protection from the other robots and its two wheels offer good speeds of 13mph and great manoueverability. However, pushing power isnt much of a strong point and the wheels are very much open to all sorts of overhead attacks. If it meets a fellow crusher, Matty will certainly be in for more than a Close Shave.

                      FROM MERTHYR TYDFIL, IN WALES, AND SEEDED NO. 20, SUPREME GLORY GAMMA!

                      For the last few years, Supreme Glory has always just failed to live up to its moniker, but that could all change this time around. Virtually unchanged since the previous war, version Gamma remains a skirted pyramid with one of the nastiest axes in all of vapourdom! Twin-headed ala RWs Excalibur and powered by a 60v Etek, the 11kg aluminium hammer can dish out nearly 3kJ per blow, equal to that of our very first champion, Beta. This is combined with a tough 20mm Lexan and LexiGuard shell and a unique sucker mechanism which can stop it hopping around during axe swings and give pushers a very hard time. Unfortunately, though, the two Vulcalore wheels have rather sacrificed traction for manoueverability and with top speeds of only 8mph, Supreme Glory wont be achieved too quickly at any rate.

                      ACTIVATE!!!!!!!!!!

                      Hell Machine gets the nippier start in our second duel and kicks things off by charging straight for No Close Shave 3! However, Matty seems to have anticipated this attack and swerves out of harms way with its tip-top manoueverability! While the newbie and the veteran begin a deadly dance-off with each other, Another Twist of Fate has revved up and is now running rings around the rather plodding Supreme Glory Gamma! As the axe swings over and narrowly misses a blow on Franks machine, the helter-skelter on wheels bashes into the No.20 seeds side and bounces away as though it had collided with a rubber wall! The Lexan/Lexiguard armouring on the two-time Heat Finalist has a slight scarring, looking rather unusual thanks to the spinners spiralling blade! Starting to get worried, Dan twirls his machine around to exact vengeance, but Another Twist of Fate is proving just too quick and gets another hit in around the other side! Meanwhile, Hell Machine and No Close Shave are starting to tire of their circling each other and Dave finally breaks up the boogie by outswerving Mattys machine and slipping its scoop under the 5mm side clearance! In a flash, the axe crashes down and while the titanium/vanadium shell has held up OK, the NSBFL3 finalist now has complete control over the Canadian competitor! With its mighty Tornadoish drive, Hell Machine shunts the clamped crusher over to join the other two robots and smacks it into the whirling Another Twist of Fate! The blow knocks No Close Shave out of Daveys grasp, but has left a rather nasty mark on the combo armour! Simply glad to be away from Franks constant spinning, Dan guides Supreme Glory Gamma over to Mattys machine and begins hammering down on the stunned veterans lid! However, the Welshman only manages a couple of good blows as Mr McDonald regains control and darts around to the No.20 seeds side! The claws slowly get a hold of its pyramidal rival, but the underbelly vaccuum is making it hard for No Close Shave to do any pushing! Taking advantage of this, Another Twist of Fate enters the fray again and bashes into the crushers side! Mattys monster gets knocked aside, but barely has time to react before Frank comes in with another blow! And another! And another! The spinner wont stop harrassing the PTT4 veteran and sluggishness is quickly beginning to show from the Kan Opener lookalike! As Hell Machine takes a break from the madness and darts up towards the Void Activator, Mr Goacher feels like hes on a roll and doesnt dare stop battering its pincered nemesis until he hears Davey press the Button! Finally backing off, Frank can see that No Close Shave is very much looking the worse for wear! The armour may be holding up pretty well, but its clear the internals couldnt cope with the relentless 50-60kJ per blow! With only one wheel seemingly working and little movement left in it, the Grim Beeper adheres to the call of duty and creeps over to start the countdown!

                      No Close Shave 3 wasnt what youd call a cut above the rest! Have fun working on version 4!
                      During all the commotion with Mattys demise, Supreme Glory Gamma has been sneaking across the ring to try and get Hell Machine by the Void Activator! Unfortunately, Daveys done just as Dan reaches the corner and deftly dodges an axe attack from the No.20 seed with relative ease! For a moment, the two size each other up, at least until Private Stickler gives his creation a burst of speed and brings its hammer down on the NSBFL3 champs head! Unamused, the newcomer jerks out of Supreme Glorys grip and ploughs underneath its skirting after some nifty manouevering! Dan begins desperately fiddling with the vaccuum, but the PTT veteran is already riding up the scoop and being shoved right down the arena past Another Twist of Fate! As the duo reach the Void, Private Stickler is going all out, tweaking the sucker toggle switch and swinging his axe back and forth like a lovestruck mutts tail! All this struggling and sucking is making it difficult for Mr Weston to dispose of Supreme Glory properly...so Another Twist of Fate whirls over, bangs off of Hell Machines rear...and consequently sends both bots tumbling into the abyss!

                      CEASE!!!!!

                      Both machines may have taken the plunge, but the Judge rules that the No.20 seed clearly hit the bottom first! Supreme Glory Gamma proves to be all talk, as Dan gets delta raw deal once again!
                      ANOTHER TWIST OF FATE AND HELL MACHINE GO THROUGH TO ROUND 2!!!

                            Slam and tip - time the flip just before impact so that the weapon pushes it up and forward should turn it over and being unable to self right shouldm make it relativly easy should i pull it off.
