Dinowarrior Destruction
Welcome back. Ill try to have at least one fight every Friday, possibly another on a weekend day...but dont rush me.
The first bot in the ring for round 2 part B is EL PERSISTANCE. This bot is named because it can be VERY persistant. Looking a lot like Storm 2 before the Series 7 changes, it is described as a full body hammer, with 2 horsepower kicking into any robot it touches. It can run inverted, but the ground clearance is high when flipped.
Next in the ring is the one and only TENGU 6, one of the most destructive robots I think Ive ever seen. I should know, Ive been on the receiving end of this amazing and deadly spinning body, armed with a various set of blades designed for different oppodents. It is VERY difficult to flip, but has low traction.
Finally in the ring is MONTYS PASS. No, not the racehorse! Sort of a domed shape, Montys Pass has low ground clearance, tough armour, and a very nasty flipping arm, CO2 powered, and at high pressure. Its fast and agile, but, of course, like all pneumatic flippers, the supply of CO2 is limited.
ROBOTEERS, STAND BY...
Hey, Smudge and Fluffitor are in the house.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!
Off we go. I was told that Tengu and Montys Pass were going to team up on El Persistance. Well, well see. Well also see if El Persistance can with-stand blows from Tengu, as he rushes right out...THEY COLLIDE!!! Any damage? Well, nothing visible. Of course, that has slowed Tengu down a bit, and also allows Montys Pass to come in, and he flips El Persistance up in the air. Very, VERY nice. And handy, since the abilities of El Persistance are now limited. But Tengu is now up to spinning speed again, and th-whacks El Persistance again. I wonder, there is little damage on the outside, but is everything holding up inside? Somehow, Im not so sure, I see little life in El Persistance...well, this is disappointing. El Persistance looked tough, but I dont think its gonna do it this time. In comes Montys Pass, ramming, driving...and Montys Pass flips El Persistance out of the arena. Well, thats the battle over. Montys Pass, hang on, youre getting too close to Tengu...OH, WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR? YOU REVERSED STRAIGHT INTO TENGU. Any damage now could be killer!
CEASE
Phew, glad thats stopped.
MONTYS PASS AND TENGU 6 GO THROUGH.
Before I relieve the next round line-up, how about a little Sumo...
The competitor today is WINDIEST KILLER. Can it hold up against Jakamoko 2? Possibly.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!
And off we go. Windiest Killer has 0mm ground clearance all over the robot thanks to its skirts, and Jakamoko may have problems. Anyway, Windiest Killer dodges for a few seconds, and comes in sideways...OH MY, ITS UNDERNEATH JAKAMOKO! THIS IS DANGEROUS!!!...And Jakamoko 2 has been pushed off through a gap. Wow!!!
CEASE
RESULTS
Windiest Killer pushed Jakamoko off in 13.21 seconds.
Next time...
Chameleon vs Tengu 6
ALVD vs Montys Pass.
And sorry for the long delay. Im desperate to get this done.
