A rather outdated design, Pickaxe of Doom utilizes a deadly pickaxe running off of a low-pressure pneumatic system. However, the 2mm ground clearance makes it hard for Pickaxe of Doom to turn.

Formerly The 2nd Revenge of Black Death, RoBD returns with the same weapon synergy. However, it might not survive very long due to limited Co2, although with an arena like this you don't need to use all of it.
VRW 4: (As The 2nd Revenge of Black Death) Burnt out a motor, immobilizing itself in round 2 against Apocalypse II.
VRW 3: (As The 2nd Revenge of Black Death) It was flipped OOTA in round 2 by Apocalypse II.
And our 2 house robots will be: Auger Henstrom and Cyclone!!!

ACTIVATE!!!
Pickaxe of Doom slowly trudges forward, as Return of Black Death speeds around to the side, getting underneath, and flipping it. Pickaxe of Doom self-rights, only to be shoved into one of the drums. No real damage caused, as Return of Black Death gets under the front of Pickaxe of Doom. Jack hammers away at the top of Sam's machine, but causes no damage as he is shoved into the CPZ, where Auger Henstrom awaits. Our Soviet house robot lifts Pickaxe of Doom up, toppling it upside-down, where it self-rights and carefully escapes the CPZ. Pickaxe of Doom runs into the Panel Activation Button, as Return of Black Death hits it with the disc. Jack looks frustrated in his control pod, as his robot is shoved into the fully spinning Cyclone...
CRASH!!!
Pickaxe of Doom never stood a chance of surviving that, as Jack's machine flies across the arena and onto the conveyer belts. Suddenly, Pickaxe of Doom begins to crawl off of them, but the barbs are tearing up his tyres. The rubber and foam is torn off, as Pickaxe of Doom tries to run away on its metal rims. Samuel looks on with glee, as Pickaxe of Doom tries to escape one last time, is caught by the barbs, and is pulled into the deep and dark abyss of the pit, landing on the Tempur-Pedic mattress foam.
CEASE!!!

Having taken out Pickaxe of Doom in round 1, Return of Black Death is preparing to cause some serious trouble for Jordan and All Bar One.
Let me remind our fans that our 2 house robots will be the super-spinners Wunderbar and Cyclone.

ACTIVATE!!!
All Bar One is spinning up to full speed, while Return of Black Death presses the Panel Release Button. It appears that Samuel wants to get All Bar One onto the barbed conveyor belt to end this match early via pitting, but that means stopping the Melty Brain system, and believe me, that'll take a lot... Anyways, Return of Black Death lines up his wedge with the spinning All Bar One, and charges forward, motors blazing, as the 2 robots hit...
CRASH!!!
Return of Black Death is reeling after that last blow, but so is All Bar One, who has stopped spinning, and now turns towards Samuel's machine. All Bar One charges forward, hitting Return of Black Death's disc as Sam turns to get back onto the attack. That doesn't stop Jordan however, as he fully spins up, waiting for Samuel to go back onto the attack. Meanwhile, both Wunderbar and Cyclone fully spin up, preparing for one of the robots to hit them, as All Bar One is hit by Samuel, who goes in disc-first...
CRASH!!! BOOM!!! CRASH!!! BOOM!!! SIZZLE!!!
A one-in-a-million thing just happened: Return of Black Death ricocheted off All Bar One into Wunderbar, ricocheted off him into Cyclone, and ricocheted off of Cyclone into the drum. I don't think Return of Black Death can still move, but IT DOES!!! Black Death just suffered a (Combined) 2592KJ impact, and yet it's still moving!!! But not for long, as that sizzle was the motor for the disc dying from the impact... Now exposed from the rear, Return of Black Death is hit once again by All Bar One, who is spinning at 1000rpm now. Samuel, not wanting his robot to come back in a bin bag, tries to move Return of Black Death forward, and barely gets forward movement. Return of Black Death now stops in the middle of the arena, as Samuel gives up...
1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10!!!
Or does he? Return of Black Death, now having lost a back panel from All Bar One's hit, moves with what little life is left in it, turning towards All Bar One, as Samuel winks to Jordan in his control pod. Seconds after, Cyclone comes in and tears off the right side panel of Samuel's machine, but as he slows down, he doesn't notice All Bar One coming in from behind...
CRASH!!!
The impact just knocked Cyclone into the nearest drum, as the house robot limps away from the battle. All Bar One spins in victory, until Wunderbar rams it into the other drum. Jordan doesn't expect to do any more attacking, but Wunderbar doesn't notice that his back panel is on Black Death's flipper...
FLIP!!!
Wunderbar was just flipped by Return of Black Death, as the speed controller dies and the robot ceases movement. Wunderbar is stunned just enough for All Bar One to get under, shove Wunderbar onto the barbed conveyor belt, and watch as a house robot is pitted.
CEASE!!!
And the winner, by knockout: All Bar One!!!
In the next heat, 4 more robots will tangle for the 2nd place in the semi-finals.

now i know what tactics ill use for i.a.n (since it entered x-mas crazy bots) there is now way he can flip me over
(thanks to 3mm thick titanium skirts) just fire the 70 mph hammer onto the flipper, after a few hits it should crumple
then when he fires the flipper, hit the c02 supply, if that dont work, clamp it down with the axe and pit pronto

It's an interesting machine, using tough Hardox armor and an Atomic-style flipper. The one hitch is that, as always, there's limited Co2. And is that a risk that Sam's willing to take?

Surprisingly a newcomer to VRW, but a rather tough and old veteran. The robot's weapons are a vicious and lethal axe, combined with a vacuum sticking it to the arena floor. The one hitch is that this puts more stress on the motors, which can cause problems...
And our house robots today will be Magnavox and Auger Henstrom.

And in comes Theseus, trying to get to the back of Terrorhurtz, which is exposed and not meshed to the ground, but Terrorhurtz gets to the side and begins firing its axe. No real damage caused except some scars on the paint, as Theseus again attempts to get behind Terrorhurtz. Terrorhurtz, via the weight difference, gets underneath the side of Theseus and starts axing the top. Sam, too busy trying to escape, doesn't really seem to notice where Jordan is shoving him: Into the flywheel of Magnavox!!!
CRASH!!!
Theseus now gets off of Terrorhurtz's wedge with a bit of damage to the Atomic-style flipper, however he is now cornered in between Magnavox and the arena wall. Samuel, realizing he must do the unthinkable, gets underneath the front of Magnavox, as he presses the flip button, and flips Magnavox over!!! The televised menace is now lying on his right side, as Auger Henstrom comes in and attacks Theseus for what he did to Magnavox. Terrorhurtz, not wanting to win via house robot interference, Gets to the side of Auger and begins to axe it to pieces. Terrorhurtz is now rammed into the panel release button, as the Guardian steps in and gives Auger a yellow card! Or maybe it was Theseus for flipping Magnavox. Eh, nobody cares, as the Soviet house robot heads back to his CPZ. But what's going on with Terrorhurtz?
SIZZLE!!!
It looks like a couple drops of Thermite have dripped on top of Terrorhurtz, and they've burned their way through the polycarbonate!!! Terrorhurtz is trying to get over to the Co2 vent, but it appears one of the motors has been welded shut by the Thermite, so Terrorhurtz cannot make it to the vent. It appears the Thermite has immobilized Terrorhurtz, as the Guardian lands and counts the Robot Wars Veteran out.
1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10!!!
And now we bring our fire control teams and do the only thing we can to stop a Thermite reaction: spray fire-extinguishing foam all over Terrorhurtz. This works very well, as the Thermite finally cools down.
...what was fair about the fight being ended by random chemicals dripping on one of the robots? It's a lot like a robot winning because its opponent was driving towards it and a large hole opened up in the ground with no prior warning...
In my opinion hazards - the pit excepted - do not exist to end fights suddenly and unfairly like that. Same goes for the house robots. If whoever entered Terrorhurtz wants to have that rewritten, in my opinion they'd be very justified in asking and should recieve one.
