Actually, if a vetical spinner and horizpntal spinner hit head on, the vetical spinner can be flipped due to it being less stable.

If that isnt true then Ill rewrite.

I shall go on the evasive. Avoid weapons and other nasty devices, and get around the unprotected areas of anyone I can and try and push them into Sithis or ANATB, which should cause damage for everyone concerned. Try and get people down the pit as well; Im not choosy :P

EDIT: I was thinking about horizontal v. vertical, and I thought that since horizontal discs inherently will strike the lower part of the vertical disc, it could result in the vertical disc being thrown sideways, which because vert disc robots tend to be tall, will usually result in a flipping. Or something.

Example: IIRC, Son of Whyachi hit Nightmare on its tire, causing it to go out of control because its balance had been completely removed. Now, if the weapons hit head on, mind you, then Nightmare would have been smashed across the arena, maybe immobile due to SoWs weaponry, but definitely not knocked over onto its back. Tira IVs disc is heavier than Nightmares, and ANATBs weapon definitely isnt as heavy as SoWs. If Tira IV and ANATB hit head on, probably the disc or bar would be mangled, and yes Tira IV would definitely be knocked for a loop, but right over onto its back? Not possible.

I would appreciate a rewrite.

Gyroscopes usually happen with horizontal spinners, but due to the way Another Night at the Bar is shaped, it wouldnt happen to him.

Vertical spinners like Nightmare only go unstable if part of their balance is removed, like if the disc warps, or loses a tooth, or a wheel.

Also, when SoW hit Nightmares wheel, it caused Nightmares fully-spun-up disc to hit the floor, which helped in flipping it over.

Okay, I just saw it.

To be fair, 259 were already damaged (drive belt, skirt, and wheel), and partially unbalanced when Fluffy hit it and flipped it.

Another Night at the Bar v Leprosy Infection v Tira IV

In the red square... ANOTHER NIGHT AT THE BAR! A four wheel axlebot, with a horizontal spinning blade attached! We saw this robot in ETC08, where it did very well, reaching the Heat D final before losing to Super Gore Evo.

In the blue square... LEPROSY INFECTION! Very much like Tetanus Booster, this robot packs a powerful drum that spins upwards, very capable of causing some serious damage.

In the green square... TIRA IV! A vertical spinning disc with a self-righting co2 spike on the rear- what more could Kody Kunz want with this robot- a place in the annihilator perhaps?

Bugs Bunny returns to the arena, accompanied by none other than The Easter Bunny himself, who made his debut in the last bout!

ACTIVATE!

All three bots start spinning up as ACTIVATE is called and the fences disappear, and its Leprosy that moves first, driving out of its square and heading for ANATB, who meets Mr. Mason€™s challenge at full speed!
CRASH!
Leprosy Infection and ANATB both spin away, but Martijn is flipped and his bot must perform that cool little thing to get the blade back underneath, which it does, just in time to see Tira IV attack Leprosy Infection!
CRASH!
Kody€™s vertical spinner tears Leprosy€™s drum right off, sending it high into the air before landing in a crumpled heap on the camera tracks! Chris starts to back away, but Tira follows and flicks Leprosy onto the Killsaws! BZZT! The bot is thrown away again, and it seems the saws shredded on its tyres! Chris is in real trouble, but still Kody attacks, slamming into Leprosy and sending it cart wheeling into the CPZ, where it is hammered by The Easter Bunny!
CRASH!
The hammer comes down hard, and in comes Tira with yet another attack!

This time Leprosy is knocked right out of the arena, and sadly we must say goodbye to Mr. Mason, at least in the annihilator. Kody celebrates, the turns to meet his remaining opponent- ANATB, which spins up and the two bots meet head on!
CRASH!
Both robots spin away, and Tira quickly comes back on the attack, hitting the side of ANATB and playfully flicking the axelbot into the air! Tira bullies ANATB onto the killsaws (BZZT!) and Martijn is thrown away, but then comes in from behind with an attack of his own!
CRASH!
Tira is spun away by that powerful hit by Martijn, who spins up again, as Tira comes with another onaslught1
CRASH!
The two collide again, and ANATB is bounced away as Tira spins wildly onto the killsaws! BZZT! Kody is thrown onto his back, and Tiras disc chews up the arena floor a little bit before it self-rights, but in comes ANATB again!
CRASH!
Tira is knocked into the wall by that impact, and suddenly the bot is venting gas- the co2 supply for the srimech has been ruptured! For now Tira is OK, as Kody is still on his wheels and comes on the attack again, once more flicking Martijn into the air with that powerful disc! Its a game of hot pursuit now as the two spinners send each other spinning around, and now Tira knocks ANATB onto the killsaws! Martijn reverses away with the blade at full speed again, and Tira follows, as both bots crash into each other again!
CRASH!
The two spi away again, and this time Tira is knocked onto the killsaws! BZZT! The bot is thrown into the air and comes crashing down, but Martijn is ready and attacks again1
CRASH!
Tira is spun away, and hits the pit release button!

CEASE!

Ot doesnt matter that the pit was open, this match goes to the judges!
