          Lacking stats from me, sorry:
Gulp will have a top speed of about 12mph and can lift/crush about 200kg

Some updates for Cyrilium Mach 2:

Colour: Gold. No stripe this time.
            Dimensions: 100cm x 57cm x 29cm
            Speed: 17mph
Armour: 8mm Diamond (Yes, Diamond. It is strong, light, and real.
Ground Clearance: 5mm at back and sides, still 0mm at the front.
Power: 4x S28-400 Magmotors powered by 6x NiCad Battlepacks.
Weapon 1: A Mortis-shaped axe, powered by an S28-400 Magmotor. Made out of 100 percent pure diamond. It can come down with over one tonne of force.
Weapon 2: A Mortis-shaped electric lifting arm, powered by another S28-400 Magmotor, that can lift over 200KGs of weight.
Notes: Components are shock mounted to reduce shock damage. Very reliable. One tough nut to crack.

You cant have diamond unless you can explain how you are going to possibly have it - you cannot get a sheet of diamond, and even if you did it would be incredibly brittle if its a big sheet 8mm thick and a meter long. It just doesnt come that big and despite the stength it would just shatter under most attacks.

If you *insist* on having diamond you could theoretically just stud the entire thing in diamond chips (like they use on saws) which is theoretically possible and not brittle. However, I doubt it would produce any noteable benefits to armour.

Would diamond not put it overweight?

Yes Diamond is brittle. Although it is extremely hard, diamond will shatter if struck with a hammer or other large force.

The density of diamond is 3.53g/cm3, so 3,53kg/dm3.

What about 7mm Quartz? Isnt it true that Quartz is strong, can come in sheets, and is not brittle?

Itd be very expensive, and people wouldnt know how to treat it in battles and such...besides, how are you going to mount it? With something like quartz, I dont know if you could drill it or bolt it without it becoming extrememly brittle at the mounting points...

Mark, youre seriously better off with 5mm Hardox or something more conventional - if there was something that really was super-armour, everyone would be using it.

                            Fine then.

Armour: 5mm Hardox, which will hopefully not be destroyed.
