    Challenge Belt

Ok Liam, a Challenge Belt tournament like this has some potential, lemme give you some tips.

Make very clear whatll happen in your first post, like Kody and I do in Crash & Burn and Mechanical Noise (and there are more examples).

State how many people you want with how many robots, state how we should explain what our robots are like, state how heavy they can be (is there a bonus for walkers or tracks?). What arena will we fight in, and whats the tournament structure?

In this case you should state that therell be one bot to start with, and therell be battles to follow that up (holder vs challenger).

Like I said, tell us what well enter.

Once I know your weight-limits Ill enter something myself.

Well, I will still face nitro gene 4.
My robot now has a zero ground clearance, and the new front flipper/wedge.
My plan: to run straight into him and hopefully stick him against the wall. If he escapes, Ill run him into the house bots, and try to smash that armour. I can get under that 2cm ground clearance easily. remember, if I get flipped, my bot is now invertible, so it wont kill me like in the last fight.

Masterpiece of design work? I designed it in Chemistry but thanks anyway.

Martijn, the rules are that of robot wars 7, minus the moving weapon one.No made-up components, Vapourbots only now that Tornados gone. I had to skip the first part of the tournament due to lack of entries, but Im getting moe response now.

Well...I accept Marks callenge, and my plan is to speed at him like a mad thing, but I have more traction, power and speed than him, so I still process those advantages. Ill get under him quite easily, as hell need to make his ground clearance HIGHER, otherwise, hell be screwed. And my clearance is protected, so Ill just boss him, and go for a quick OOTA.

Paul, if no one enters you keep the belt, but people already have so dont get your hopes up!

And so you will all now witness Nitro-Gene 4.0s first defense of the belt! His opponent- a brand new version of Cyrilium! The old Cyrilium challenged No Objections, but lost when it was flipped over and immobilised.
Watching over tonights draw are two mechaniacal menaces that roboteers always steer clear of- the ever-comical Cassius Chrome, accompanied by his new love interest, Matilda!
Previously Nitro-Gene 4.0 defeated No Objectoins by sending right OOTA!However, challenge belt veteran Mark plans to ram Nitro-Gene into the arena walls, aided by his brand new flipper!
                Booth 1:Paul Cuomo
                Booth 2:Mark Elam
                3,2,1,ACTIVATE!
Cyrilium gets off the mark quickly and comes speeding at Nitro-Gene, but Pauls reflexes are on good form and Cyrilium hits nothing but wall! Taking Mark unawares Nitro-Gene slides its flipper underneath Cyrilium and lets fly!Cyrilium lands just inside the arena, but is now upside down so that flipper is useless!Luckily for Mark the new Cyrilium is now invertable, so hes not down and out already! Nitro-Gene doesnt relent though, and chases Cyrilium into the pit release! But now Cyrilium has turned around is flying towards Nitro-Gene at full speed, perhaps planning to knock his opponent out via a Storm II style hit?Anyways, hes unsuccessful for a second time as Nitro-Gene gets underneath and flips Cyrilium into the CPZ! Matilda wasnt in the mood for visitors, and after this visit Cyrilium knows it! Matildas flywheel slams into Cyrilium, sending Mark cartwheeling into the center of the arena where Nitro-Gene is waiting. But this time Cyrilium is too quick and being the right way up again slips underneath the side and rams Nitro-Gene into the arena wall before firing its own flipper!Nitro-Gene is on the rails, falling out when Paul hits the flipper and it springs back in Roobarb-style!Unfortunately for Paul it self-righted back onto Cyriliums rear wedge, allowing Mark to drive Nitro-Gene into the opposite wall! However, this wdge is flipper-less, so theres no chance of flipping Nitro-Gene OOTA this time. Nitro-Gene escapes and comes back on the attack, delivering one last colossal flip to end the match.
                CEASE!
After an incredibly close battle well have to go to a judges decision:
                Nitro-Gene 4.0: Cyrilium:
                Damage- 3/5 3/5
                Aggression- 4/5 4/5
                Style- 2/5 0/5
                Control- 3/5 0/5
                Overall- 12/20 7/20
The judges decide that driving your own robot into walls isnt good control, but moving neatly out of the way IS.Its very close, but Nitro-Gene 4.0 keeps the belt, and the gallant loser Cyrilium can go home knowing it put up one of the greatest challenge belt fights yet.

Cyrilium now has updated traction, more power, and a new 30mph speed. Plus a 0.5mm ground clearance increase. it is also now painted gold with a large silver stripe on top.

                    Wait!!
I didnt give you Cyriliums updates!
And that could have changed the outcome of the fight!
Besides, Cyrilium has very good manuverability, so I would easily have turned away from that wall!

Besides, you arent allowed to self right back into the arena. In series 7 of robot wars, when a robot self righted back into the arena, it lost because it went out of the arena in the first place!

I did post the updates before the fight, but it ended up after your post for no real reason. By the way, maybe me and Nitro Gene would like to fight again, if you will let us.

I think youll find that I was ON the wall, and flipped myself INWARDS towards the arena. If I went out then flipped back, Id see your point, but I saved myself.

Im pretty sure no one has the RW rules on the shelf, but heres a list of the rules anyway Martijn

He was ON the wall, so its allowed.
If you remember in the newblood tournament (RW EXTREME 2), the first heat final was Mute v Roobarb, and Mute flipped Roobarb up onto the rails, then Roobarb fired its flipper and got back in
