      The Final:MeCannibal 2.0 v Weapon Synergy

      The winner of this bout will go on to challenge Flick of the Wrist tommorrow.

      Watching closely from the CPZs are Sir Killalot and the ever-destructive Matilda.

      MeCannibals history in the challenge belt looks like this:
      1)Defeated Crimson Thunder
      2)Lost to Nidhogg
      3)Lost to Supreme Glory Omega
      Paul has narrowly avoided a rematch with Supreme Glory Omega, will that turn out to be better or worse for him?
      In this tournament he has:
      4)Helped Supreme Glory Omega defeat Crimson Thunder
      5)Defeated Sithis

      Weapon Synergy, on the other hand, made its debut in this tournament.So far it has:
      1)Helped Sithis defeat Worck
      2)Defeated Supreme Glory Omega
      It has a bad experience with ring spinners after its first round encounter with Sithis, will this battle reflect that?

      Weapon Synergy splits up, and MeCannibal spins up! Judging Disc to be the biggest threat MeCannibal heads straight for its fellow spinner.
      CRASH!
      Heavy horizontal meets light vertical!With such a high center of gravity Disc loses a wheel AND flies across the arena, landing in Matildas CPZ!
      CRASH!
      Another robot meets the fury of Matildas buttocks and Disc is eliminated!
      Claw attempts to get a hold on MeCannibal 2.0, but the shuffler reverses into Claw, ripping off one of the arms! Flipper attempts a frontal attack, and succeeds in flipping MeCannibal over!But the shuffler is invertible and spins up again to hit Flipper full force!
      SLAM!
      Flipper flies across the arena and lands on the pit just as Axe unknowingly hits the release tyre! DOH!
      Rammer gets in at MeCannibal and attempts to push it into the pit, but 110kg v 20kg and MeCannibal shoves Rammer down instead!Spinning up again MeCannibal slams into axe, knocking off the axe altogether and taking out the removable link! It then reverses into the remnants of Claw to cause more trouble while the refbot inspects Axe.
      1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10!
      MeCannibal rips off the other arm and Claw is spun across the arena and into the pit!
      CEASE!
      MeCannibal was outnumbered 5-1, but came through against all odds to earn the right to challenge Flick of the Wrist for the belt!

        Unlucky to both Danny and Daniel. *Checks no-ones looking* YES! Thank you Liam for giving me a good fight and thank for giving me the chance to get the challenge belt!

        Flick Of The Wrist vs. MeCannibal 2.0: My tactics for the Belt are obvious - spin up and kill.

        I have advantages in my areas. For example, I have the better ability to speed away at the start of the fight and I can get up to speed before hes even halfway near me.

        Now about his armour. Although its successful, Flick has one of the weakest armourments of any rambot on the forum, with it only having 7mm Titanium. Even at half-speed Ill rip that to pieces. Go for the sides, and rip him open and then try to tear out a drive. If he charges at me, reverse just before he hits me, and bend his forks out of position.

        Another area in my advantage is the fact that me has to let me spin if he wants to get his forks into play. So hell let me spin-up and...*Writes a funeral note for Flick Of The Wrist*

          so MeCannibal it is?

          MeCannibals weapon is bloody heavy so it wont spin up all that fast. My aim is to drive in with my forks RAISED. My power advantage is massive so I dont care wether I get under or not. He cant get under me and theres no way in hell hell push me. From there, control the match.

            1 second to half-speed Martijn, 3 seconds to full speed. Ive stated in my stats.

            Ive done my calulations, but 5mm Titanium can take 40kj, 2mm can take 16kj. Add those together, you can cope with only 56kj of force. In 1 seconds, Ill be producing 97.5kj of energy. And I know you have the power advantage, which is why Im not going to let you push me. Spin up, and try to buckle his forks. If I get around his sides, use my greater acceleration to rip him open. Go for tactic of spin and win.

              the forks are massive Hardox mate

              and where do said calculations come from Paul? Ive never found a way to calculate what time it takes for a spinner to spin up, nor what certain armours can take?

              and meh, I can handle some slices, just ram MeCannibal in the pit and Ill be save

                Trust me mate, after what I did to Crimson Thunder, a 5mm Hardox box, youll be getting more than a few slices

                And I calulated the armour by using a calculator and certain figures. 1cm of Titanium can take 80kj Divide that by 2 = 40kj. Divide the first figure (80) by 5 = 16kj. Add those together. I posted in the stats on the Improvement thread and said it was all good, including the spin-up time of 3 seconds. In 1 second itll be doing 1500rpm (97.5kj) in 3, itll do 3000rpm (195kj) I had it all checked on, and no-one said it would self-destruct or anything. But I might not actually go for the forks now. Just hit the right/left sides if I get the chance, as thatll expose the internal workings.

                  meh, in one of my tourneys youd never do THAT to 5 mm Hardox, but Ill let Liam off, hes picking up fast :wink:

                  1 cm of titanium can take 80 kJ, where did you found this (not saying its wrong or anything )

                  And whats meant with take? Will it bend, will it shear, will it break?

                  And in what way is it applied? 80 kJ of pull? Impact? Push? Torsion?

                  And is the causality between what 10 mm and what 5 mm can take really linear?






                  and the 3 seconds is a guess isnt it? youre guess is as good as mine here, but this seems like something I might be able to calculate, so I might do so when I find the time :wink:

                      Flick of the Wrist v MeCannibal 2.0

                      The final battle of this years challenge belt!
                      The winner of this fight keeps the third challenge belt forever!Martijn already has the second one, while Paul has competed in every belt a total of 7 times with 4 different robots, failing to keep the belt everytime!

                      Surveying the final from the CPZs we have Mr.Pyscho, with hid faithful mutt Growler!

                      Flick of the Wrist took the second belt after defeating Supreme Glory Omega, Nitro-Gene 4.0 and Lethal Injection!Here he is today attempting to get rid of MeCannibal to get the third belt as well!

                      MeCannibal was the bot who took the first belt off Crimson Thunder, but then lost it to Nidhogg.It later Supreme Glory Omega for the second belt, but lost.Can he beat Flick of the Wrist and take the third belt?

                      MeCannibal starts spinning up as Martijn races towards it!
                      CRASH!
                      Martijn brought the spikes up to middle so they wouldnt buckle and now MeCannibal isnt spinning!Knowing this could be his only chance Martijn lifts MeCannibal and slams it into the angle grinder before dragging it into the pit release tyre!
                      Unfortunately MeCannibal falls off the spikes and shuffles away to spin up again!When Martijn comes on the attack this time Paul is ready and swings MeCannibal around to tear off a side panel!Those wheels are exposed now and Martijns got to be careful!
                      Before Paul can spin up again Martijn lifts MeCannibal again and starts edging towards the pit! But once again MeCannibal falls from the forks and spins up!
                      SLAM!
                      The forks are all buckled and bent!But that doesnt stop Martijn!He rams into MeCannibal and gets his front panel torn off, but it doesnt matter because hes bounced MeCannibal onto the edge of the pit!One shuffle pad is uselessy hanging over the chasm, and MeCannibal cant go anywhere!Martijn turns Flick of the Wrist around for one final shove!
                      CEASE!
                      Smoke rises from the pit, as MeCannibal lies in the depths of the chasm!Flick of the Wrist remains unbeaten!

                      Overall holders of the challenge belts:
                      1st belt- Nidhogg
                      2nd belt- Flick of the Wrist
                      3rd belt- Flick of the Wrist

                        Well done Martijn. But why did I bounce?
                        MeCannibal is designed NOT to bounce, so surely Flick would have been sent spirilling. But Ive been here for longer than you, so Ill just say congratulations to Liam for a great competition.

                            yeah, you did damage Flick Paul, I knew that would happen, and Im gonna guess the bouncing might have something to do with the fact that I stand firmly on the ground with 6 wheels and wont bounce that match
