Thing about surprise packages (Leprosy Infection) is that they can stunt against everything, Leprosy beat Wedgie, Star 69 and Kali... it might beat Achilles too.

I think Leprosy will turn on the aggression, but most likely Achilles will win in the long run.

Eye Of The Robot - Series 2

OK, with everyone (Martijn - ) in his his seat, ready to read the Play-off, lets continue...

LEPROSY INFECTION vs. ACHILLES

We have the two toughest in just a few moments, but first, our two losers go head-to-head to find out who gets the Copper and Aluminium medals/trophies. And then, the big one!

Roboteers, stand by!!!

Both robots drive towards each other, and sparks fly as Leprosy€™s drum scrapes against the Titanium armour, and a huge tear like rip appears in the side armour of Achilles, and the great powerhouse is rolled over onto its back! Whilst Achilles is self-right, Chris eagerly powers around the rear of Achilles and bashes him over again, before now attacking the flipper! Achilles self-right and charges onto the drum, and flips Leprosy Infection onto its back and charges into the drum again, now RECEIVING MASSES OF CUT AND SLICES!! But Achilles isn€™t giving in, and so quickly catches Leprosy side-on, and pushes him into the Hardox spikes, causing more perforations in the Titanium armour! The two then drive out to the arena centre, and spin, looking to get at one of the robots, and Achilles drive forwards, but Leprosy Infection dodges out of the way. Achilles gets a blow on the side from the drum, and gets flipped over, with holes in the side-armour, but Achilles self-rights and gets side-on once more to Leprosy, and then slams forward, flips and sends the Chris Mason robot overboard!

Result:
Leprosy Infection (10) gets a dose of medicine, as it misses out on 3rd place!
ACHILLES (22) CLAIMS 3RD PLACE IN E.O.T.R SERIES 2!!!

Unlucky Chris, but you still get the copper cup!

BUT NOW€¦THE GRAND FINAL!

In Booth #1, From Ipswich, Suffolk, seeded #2, STORM 2!! Having been entered by Ed Hoppit, last years runners-up have been getting a good reputation as a successful rammer, using the 18hp in the motors, thick Titanium armour, good lifting arm, superb control and unrivalled speed to bring down some tough vapours€¦

In Booth #2, From Scotland, seeded #8, WHIRLIGIG 4.0!! Entered by the great Steven McGregor, having made the top 12 last time, its enormous traction and heavy spinning ring has bee one of the biggest weapons in this competition, due to its knock-out capability. And he has claimed many lives over this contest€¦

R2 - Defeated Anti-Spin via JD (50-25)
R3 - Defeated Die-Ceratops ReInvertus via KO (Shredded the wheels)
R4 - Defeated Roo 2 via KO (Internal shock damage)
R5 - Defeated Black Panther Queen (4) via JD (49-26)
R6 - Defeated Achilles (22) via flipping

The two finalists enter the arena, as the crowd cheers and whoops! The one fight separates each machine from greatness! Only one machine can take it, but which one?

Roboteers, stand by!!!!

Storm 2 thunders away and smashes into Whirligig whilst it spins up, but Whirligig moves away, and gets the shell spun up to maximum speed! Whilst Ed fears what could happen to his robot, Storm 2 slams in, and the teeth dig into the front Titanium of Storm 2, and Ed finds his rammer flung all the way across the ring, with a dent in the front armour, as Steven attacks again, this time on the side, cutting the right-side 6mm Titanium in half! But Storm 2 smashes in again, and gets underneath the body of Whirligig and slams it into the Hardox spikes, but no damage is caused, and Whirligig 4.0 scuttles away from Storm 2 and spins the shell up and rips into Storm 2€™s side armour, tearing a large gash into the 6mm Titanium, but Storm 2 pushes in again, and bounces Whirligig into the arena wall, stopping the spinning and allowing Storm 2€™s lifting arm to wrestle underneath and lift the ring-spinner onto the sidewall! Storm 2 comes in for a ram, but inadvertently knocks Whirligig off the wall, and Storm 2 charges back, reversing onto the ring, stopping it spinning up, and slamming it again, before lifting/flipping and smashing the spinner against the walls, but Steven now runs away again but this time gets the ring spun up, and as Storm 2 comes in, Steven strikes the cut side, and tears the panel right off! Ed sees his robot smashed again, into the corner and Whirligig now charges in but can€™t damage the 12mm Titanium front! Storm 2 drives away to hit the pit release button, but Whirligig hits it in the rear and sends it spinning 540 digresses! Storm 2 now charges back, but Whirligig hits its front as well. Storm 2 suddenly stops dead. Doing nothing! The audience doesn€™t like this and the series draws to a close, with the counting out of Storm 2!

As €˜CEASE€™ is cried out, Whirligig smacks the front of Storm one last time, and rips the 12mm Titanium panel off!

Result:
Storm 2 (2) falls at the ultimate test of skill!

And the champagne flies around the arena, as the podium is brought out, the dust removed from it after a year in storage. They are brought out and the awards begin!

In 4th place, claiming the copper cup is that Suffolk man, Christopher Mason with the 10th seed, LEPROSY INFECTION!!

In 3rd place, the Titanium medal/trophy, nobody expected him to make it this far, it€™s the underdog from Geddington, Alex Holt and the 22nd seed, ACHILLES!!

In 2nd place, he came second last time, but wasn€™t quite lucky enough to win, it€™s the real RW World Champion, from Ipswichs, receiving the Titanium trophy/medals and £15,000, its Ed Hoppit and 2nd seed STORM 2!!

But in 1st place, doing the best of everyone in the contest, a Hardox medal and trophy, £30,000, and a limo to take them to celebratory party is the well deserved award for the Scot himself, Steven McGregor and 8th seed WHIRLIGIG 4.0!!

This competition has proved a huge success for everyone, and there MIGHT be another contest just like this next year, and if so, these will be the seedings:
