              CRASHS TACTICS
Funny you should mention the team-up Steve. That had been my idea from the start. After all, us video-game characters have to stick together.

Turbo Tails (12) vs. Mousey 4 vs. Crash Bandi-bot: For this one, Turbo Tails will be definintely going through, and... if Chris really choses to team up with Steve, then it will be Crash Bandibot through with him.

Spawn Again vs. Son of Wedgie vs. A Night at the Bar: Son of Wedgie out for sure.

Heat Winner: A Night at the Bar/Turbo Tails

I know this is Kodys line, but Tactics, Thoughts and a new drumset please! :P

Spawn Again vs. Son of Wedgie vs. A Night at the Bar: Im going for Martijn and Spawn through this fight.

                        Well, it€™s that time again.

                        Heat K
                        Round 1 Battle 1
Turbo Tails (12) vs. Mousey 4 vs. Crash Bandi-bot 3

Representing Steven McGregor and Team Braveheart: Turbo Tails! It€™s the 12th seed of our tournament and is hoping to get further than that. It€™s got a rear spinning blade powered by two LEM130 motors, giving some serious force! It also has a front lifter mainly used as a srimech if flipped, and it has 3.5mm hardox armour under the 2mm orange fur to ward off attacks. Its boxy shape contains C40-500 MagMotors to give it a nippy speed of 16mph. It looks comical...but that€™s exactly what it wants you to think!
C&BT1: Kicked the crap out of Dante in a judges€™ decision, and then tossed Megabyte out of the arena. However, a thrashing by 4th seed Aneurysm stopped its progress for the crown in the Heat E final.

Representing Martyn Forsyth and Team€¦Slag(?): Mousey 4! It€™s, of course, shaped like a mouse, but with a front wedge where the face would be. On that wedge is a CO2-powered flipper and two front-hinged flippers on the sides to get it off of walls. Its S28-400 provide ample power enough to give it a 13mph top speed, and it has 5mm G5 titanium under the blue fur (3mm) that is used to clog disc and blade axles. It has a ground clearance of 6mm at the sides and rear though, so it can be flipped. Will the Mousey be squashed?
                        C&BT1: Did not enter.

Representing Christopher Mason and Team Dinowarrior: Crash Bandi-bot 3! Inspired by Crash Bandicoot, its MagMotors drive it at 16mph, with 4 inner wheels. Crash also has 8mm titanium for armour, so you€™d be hard put to damage it. As for the shape, it€™s a box with a front wedge and a rear inverted wedge, like Rammstein, Bad Attitude, and Jabberwock. It also has a front flipper that is hooked up to a sound system, playing €˜WOAH!€™ when getting hit. It runs inverted, thus meaning its wheels are vulnerable to axes. Will Crash crash€¦and burn?
                        C&BT1: Did not enter.

                        Roboteers, stand by...

Booth 1: Mousey 4, Turbo Tails
                        Booth 2: Crash Bandi-bot 3

Obelix Bulguous and Ancalagon the Black are in the corner patrol zones this time around.

                        3...
                        2...
                        1...
                        ACTIVATE!

Crash Bandi-bot and Turbo Tails, faster than Mousey, react quicker, and both head for the mousebot. Martyn is peeved at the team-up against him, but decides to fly at Crash first, and both flippers meet. Hey! Mousey€™s flipper gets under Crash€™s, and FLIP! Over goes the Playstation mascotbot. Tails turns and exposes the rear spinning blade, but Mousey is chasing down Crash who has moved away from the peril of the blade and turning around rams Mousey€™s flipper with the rear wedge, now functional. It€™s unable to get under Mousey€™s flipper, though, and the mouse carries Crash to the wall...and doesn€™t flip. He seems to be trying to turn and drive to Ancalagon€™s CPZ...Ancalagon spews a burst of flame as he watches the competitors fighting near the zone. Tails flies straight at Mousey, who has finally got Crash off the wall. Chris knows what€™s about to happen and frantically works the controls but Mousey finally gives the audience what they want: a flip! FLIP! Crash goes sailing right on top of Ancalagon! Just in time, too, as Tails has caught up with Mousey and smashed it!
                        CRASH!!!
Mousey is pounded into the wall, and Tails is sent for a loop, but apart from blue fur flying all over the place, Mousey seems to be okay. Obelix flies out of his CPZ as Ancalagon drives forward a bit, toppling Crash off his back, so he can turn and attack Crash. Crash tries to make a break for it, but ends up driving straight into Obelix, who sends him back into the CPZ! BANG! The hammer pounds down onto the 8mm titanium top armour of Crash, severely denting it! But what€™s coming after is even worse: one of Ancalagon€™s discs striking Crash!
                        CRASH!!!
I couldn€™t have put it better myself. Crash flies into the air, but not quite over the wall, tilting off the railing and...stacked up against the wall. Mousey meanwhile has driven right into Tails and stopping the blade got under and FLIP! Tails is inverted! However, it rights itself using the front flipper. Mousey is right there, though, and (FLIP!) tosses it right back over into an empty CPZ! Tails rights itself can before Mousey can attack again, and is desperation turns to use the srimech as its weapon...and it works. FLIP! Mousey is inverted, but falls onto its side! It also rights itself, and decides to attack Tails again, but notices the blade back up to speed and pointing right at him, so he now reverses gears going after Crash in the CPZ. Ancalagon€™s jaws open, and he€™s now got Crash, whose side has been gashed up badly by that earlier disc hit, in the jaws. Obelix hammers Crash again. BANG! The top panel is caving in! Mousey bursts in from nowhere and getting under an occupied Obelix tries to flip it...no luck. Tails hammers Mousey in the rear.
                        CRASH!!!
Mousey hardly moves, but Tails is sent back a bit. More fur flies, and still Mousey takes the hit most unlike a mouse. Ancalagon however has released Crash...who isn€™t able to move! Mousey gets lout from under Obelix, and goes for Crash. Obelix turns to him and brings down the hammer but misses (CLANG!), and (FLIP!) Mousey tosses Crash against the wall and stacks him. Chris hangs his head, the controls aren€™t working at all, and Steve lays off, knowing that Crash is dead, and Mousey saves him the trouble by giving it a flight over the fence courtesy of the flipper. FLIP!

                        CEASE!

Crash Bandi-bot 3 needs a better sponsor, methinks.
Turbo Tails (12) and Mousey 4 advance to Round 2!

                        ----

                        Round 1 Battle 2
Spawn Again vs. Son of Wedgie vs. A Night at the Bar

Representing Anthony Politzi and Team Hitmen is a real robot: Spawn Again! It€™s got a very potent rear-hinged flipper, and it€™s used it to devastating effect in Series 5, 6, and 7, reaching the Series Semi-Finals many times. However, its armour is average, and it has reliability problems, not to mention its flipper being very unstable, the rams exploding in Series 7. Will Spawn Again be forced to spawn...again?
C&BT1: Totally destroyed by Infusion Beta in Heat G Round 1.

Representing David Sheppard and Team Solarized: Son of Wedgie! A wedge, obviously, with an inverted wedge on it to stop other bots going over the top, and a rounded rear, with rollbars on the sides to prevent strandings. Its monocoque armour is comprised of 5mm steel bars with 4mm titanium welded to that, and 18mm steel triangles in the corners to give it some reinforcement. It has a low-pressure rear-hinged flipper that can give 40 big flips in the fight. Its C40-500 MagMotors give it a speed of 28mph, though it usually goes at half that speed, but overall, this bot is just above-average. Which isn€™t bad.
                        C&BT1: Did not enter.

Representing Martijn Benschop and Team Varying Every Day: A Night at the Bar! It€™s an axlebot with a horizontal spinning bar! It sounds weird, but it works quite well. It€™s powered by a BFA42-500 MagMotor (since B42s don€™t exist ) and spins at 2000rpm, giving out 55kJ of force upon impact. The upper part of Bar is 4.5mm hardox, and the lower part is 5mm hardox to balance the weight. If flipped, the bar will stop spinning to prevent it from hitting the floor. S28-400s power the drive to 15mph, but it looks very unstable, and as Martijn puts it, a €˜rocking chair on steroids€™.
                        C&BT1: Did not enter.

                        Roboteers, stand by...

Booth 1: A Night at the Bar, Spawn Again
                        Booth 2: Son of Wedgie

Taki-san spins around in her CPZ. Asterix Heroicus does not.

                        3...
                        2...
                        1...
                        ACTIVATE!

Son of Wedgie is the first to head out, and meets Spawn Again. Both flippers collide, but neither get under the other. A Night at the Bar barges into the crossfire and puts a massive hit on Son of Wedgie!
                        CRASH!!!
The 4mm titanium is rocked, great chunks ripped right out! The bar stops immediately as Bar goes flying backwards, and Son of Wedgie has hardly moved at all! This is good news for Spawn Again as it penetrates the front flipper of Son of Wedgie, and (FLIP!) tosses it onto its back! Son of Wedgie does not right itself yet, and Dave waits for Spawn Again to approach it. Tony isn€™t fooled, and simply waits for Bar to come back, and Martijn smiles widely as the weapon spins up to speed. Dave is apprehensive and the flipper fires, sending it right onto Spawn Again€™s flipper...and tumbles off! Ooh, but caught! FLIP! The flipper catches Son of Wedgie and tips it right over! Bar swerves around Spawn Again and puts another massive hit on Son of Wedgie!
                        CRASH!!!
Son of Wedgie goes flying as does Bar, the 5mm steel ladder chassis absorbing the blow somewhat this time around, but Spawn Again has him now, and getting under him gets him to the arena wall...and FLIP! Out goes Son of Wedgie! Dave is quite rejected, but Tony throws up his fist in victory.

                        CEASE!

Son of Wedgie gets yanked off the stage.
Spawn Again and A Night at the Bar advance to Round 2!

                        Round 2

Turbo Tails (12) vs. Spawn Again
A Night at the Bar vs. Mousey 4

Tactics, predictions, comments, thoughts, and a new Timex watch please.

                          Round 2

Turbo Tails (12) vs. Spawn Again: Spawn Agains average armour could prove to be very costly when Tails slices it up with the spinning bar.

A Night at the Bar vs. Mousey 4: The fur of Mousey is only good at jamming up discs. The bar will just hit and hit and hit because of its shape. GO MARTIJN!!

Heat Final: I reckon the Heat Final will be Turbo Tails (12) vs. A Night At The Bar with TURBO TAILS (12) winning via pitting.

Spawn Again VS TURBO TAILS (12)

Spawn Agains a pretty big machine, so I wont be aiming for anywhere in particular. Just stay away from the flipper, keep outmanouevering it and smack the sides or rear with the spinning bar. If Im feeling very brave near the end, Ill try coaxing the flipper open and spinning round to slice up the rams - but only if Im way on top or times running out.
