    Re: help with Gianitcod 2.4ghz 4-Channel Mode2 Transmitter n

as far as i know the r7eh is the same as the r6eh in terms of compatibility but it has an extra channel and has the connections on the side. you should plug the connectors that come from your esc's into channel 1 and 2 on your receiver. it doesn't matter which ones in channel 1 and which ones in channel 2 as the servo reversing function can be used to correct this. the throttle channel is for the weapon (if you have one).

Do you have a servo and a receiver battery to hook up to the receiver outside the robot? That way you can at least determine if the receiver is responding to the transmitter and takes out as many variables as possible.

                No crystals needed.

Your pics are a little blurred and I cannot see a receiver power supply / 4.8v battery pack or BEC.

The Electronize FR15HVR and FR15TVR have a battery eliminator circuit (B.E.C.) providing a regulated 5 volt supply for the receiver and servo's... I don't think that the FR30HX has.

This possible lack of a 4.8v power supply to your receiver and thus your ESC's ( the internal electronics of the Electronize requires 4.8v / 5v to function and the internal electronics turns the higher voltage battery supply to the motor on and off ) and would explain your prob.

BEC ...one of many makes... http://www.dimensionengineering.com/Par ... 4Qod_CNBIQ

                Cheers Woody

i am using 1 FR15HX and one FR15HVR so (as far as i was told) the addition of a 4.8v battery is not needed

Can you tell us what you has been done with the twisted orange and red wires from the FR15HVR.

I've got an awful feeling that you might want to use one bat per controller.

My advice is DON'T ...simply wire up your bats in parallel[attachment=1:24ki7vmk]FR15HX2.JPG[/attachment:24ki7vmk]

                              Series config ...double the voltage.
