Only 24V 1/8bsp here, but a load of them.

    There are options tough.

You're going to run 18V don't you? A 24V valve probably would fire on 18V.

Other option is to boost the circuit for the valve.
Or with a voltage booster, or with an extra battery.

      Chris,

Busted has a 24v one and there's a little 9v square battery to boost the voltage to fire it.

      Do the same

I used one of these, it worked fine, and its cheap - ran it at 11bar max, gave it a try up to 14bar but it leaked - instant gasket fixed it.

ive ordered one from ebay china, only cost £7.39 and free postage so worth a play with just to see if it would be suitable. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160675374094? ... 1439.l2649

By looking at that valve, I realised there is another way to control most 5/2 valves.

Most valves have a manual override. With some it's a press button, others use a turning switch. Most perfectly controlable with a servo.
