I've been eyeballing this event for a while now, and just looked up the prices for an airline ticket (amsterdam-cambridge/cambridge-amsterdam) and if I were to book tickets for that day. It would cost me 1400 euro's minimum and just 130 euro's if I were to return home the next day.

So my question is, would anyone more local be willing to offer me his/her couch for the saturday night?

I think I made a mistake in searching the closest by airport.
Looks like London is a better option.

        Hey Niels

You're more than welcome at my place, and it's not too far for me to pick you up from Gatwick or Heathrow if you want me to?

That would be brilliant, many thanks in advance.

I'll PM you later on when I'm ready to make the final travel arrangements.

              Hey guys

Because this is an Antweight centred event, the beetle fights may run in an odd order, but also, due to the potential of more robots than I'd hoped/planned for, the first matches may well need to be 3 way melees. Along with 2 losers melees, this ensures everyone gets at least 2 fights, and let's the comp finish in 4 less fights as opposed to standard Double Elimnation, but does mean the 1st round winners, if they lose the next fight, they're out. I'm looking for some input on this.

We'll have to see how the day develops I guess, there might be room for a last beetle standing fight afterwards.

I do hope to get more action than just 6 minutes of fun (If my beetle stays active that long)

RPM looks vicious but how much does it weigh? I`m asking because I`m having big difficulties with the weight of Nefarious and its smaller and mainly hdpe?
