    James,
Did the entry form have a space for the names of team members or how many we are bringing along?

If anyone missed out of the champs please do let me know so we can add you to the reserves list. Most importantly if anyone will need to pull out please let me know asap as there are teams really wanting a place. We currently have to find a space for Turisas as their entry didnt come through until after sign ups closed.

The current reserves list is -

    Shane Swan
    Push n Shove

Ooh that's good to know. First stage on my 18v drills are plastic so looks like I should be able to swap them out and get a more desirable gear ratio.

The plastic housing, axle bit, 2nd stage gears and sun gear. Basically your chaging the motor, pinion, first stage gears and gear carrier.

Ah ok, so the only thing that remains from argos is the plastic housing.

Yup! You use the spare parts that gimson robotics offer to change the ratio from 36:1 to 24:1. All the motors on sale should fit too.

Do the Gimson motors just replace the Argos ones? I assumed the Argos motors would have some bizarre standard of pinion gear.
I also assumed they would have a 36:1 gearatio.

    Name: Robob
Weight: 13.5kg (I think, really should weigh it)
Drive: four Argos drill sets, 24:1 gearing with gimson 18v motors running at 6s
Weapon: none, just a simple parallelogram inevitable wedge
Armour and Chassis: fully welded 5mm steel front, back and sides. 3mm steel top and bottom
Notes: is my first champs, just plan to survive and come home intact
