Re: Robo Challenge - 2013 FRA UK Featherweight Championships
Drumroll 2: invertible drum bot.
Ironside 2: Horizontal spinner with very thick armour
Scruffy should be very reliable but no damage threat.
Turisas is a 6WD push bot with thick armour so bullet proof but non-damaging... in theory

Re: Robo Challenge - 2013 FRA UK Featherweight Championships
Well, I'm worried about Ironside 2 because i'm not to sure what it is, Drumroll because i'm very sure of what it is, beauty 7 because its a beauty robot. Scruffy might be a problem as its very nicely made, has strong armor. Turisas also might end up a problem as its either going to be heavily armored, which would be annoying or will have a ludicrous logic defying weapon which would also be annoying.
this is going to be so much fun

Re: Robo Challenge - 2013 FRA UK Featherweight Championships
Just booked into Tamworth Central Premier Inn again. The deal that Ann/Jarvis arranged at Castle Bromwich was great but as we're also staying on Thursday and Sunday night it actually worked out cheaper at Tamworth. Also means we can lend a hand at de-rig if needed guys.
Anyone else in at Tamworth yet? Need drinking buddies :P

Looking forward to seeing no toy in action. Great to see a new machine that's different
It's good to get pics and spec out there for everyone so we all know what the competition is like rather than not knowing who you may be up Against.
Only 2 days to go before the live draw! 3pm Robo Challenge Facebook!

They do some 'Extra Thick' ones at sainsburys if you really are looking. We use them to keep all our crushed cans in before we take them to recycling. Can use them like 3 times before they begin to go.Originally posted by adz600Just trying to find a good strong bin bag to bring NO TOY back in !!!!!!!

Re: Robo Challenge - 2013 FRA UK Featherweight Championships
Tried to pick my top 5/7 from each day, but when I had rough lists, I'd look back through the entries and see another two or three that I think would make it through. It's going to be a tough year. I'm guessing 48 robots is the biggest FW championship there's ever been on these shores?
