James and I have been talking about this for a while now, we wanted this to be the last fully 12kg featherweight event. BUT....
Weve been asked by a number of people if they can enter with 13.6kg.
So, aslong as this seems fair to everyone, we will be running the Tag Team with a COMBINED weight of 24kg. The maximum weight of any robot will be 13.6, NO exceptions! Hopefully this means that there will be a few more teams, and a little bit more fun for everyone.
This means if robots such as Beauty2, Prodigy Evo (possibly pain in the asp?) can find partners that are well underweight you can all join in

mine and my daughters that we are bringing are now on my profile, just got to add some more armour to the spinner, will be finished over the weekend. my daughters first event and she will be in whiteboards only for this event, her driving is improving. Her robot kahn is only 11.5kgs, so room for a weapon next year.Comment

Push n Shove needs a partner, if any of the over weight bots want a partner, it has a spare kg.

prodigy evo doesnt have a partner at the mo, but it depends what dragon king is up to, as i offered to team up with them, we are doing a few rigerous tests next week to make sure everything is in order for this event and find no hidden weakpoints. Now does my memory serve me right that it was push and shove that prodigy landed on top of after taking out hornet. :wink:,
a grudge match in the future i reckon! my robot weighs exactly 13.6, so you would need to be 10.4 or under, to pair up with me, but if dragon king is sorted elsewhere i would gladly team up with push and shove. this is all providing my testing goes ok.Comment

Push n shove is 11kg so it is too heavy to go with Prodigy Evo.
And yes Adrian your memory does serve you right!!!
Anyone else want to go with Push n Shove?
I was going to go with Invasion or Annihilation but we thought that 2 pushers would be too easy to beat!Comment

Booked in at the Birmingham Maypole Travelodge for this event - was gonna book one closer to the location but all their cheap rooms had gone; this ones only five miles away from the event and had nice cheap rooms

Geoff, will 145 x 150 x 5.5mm grade 2 be ok? Dave has some of that at our workshop that isnt being used at the moment (off the end of 145 x1000ish bar)
ps. is will add a new list of robots attending before the end of the week a theres been a few more teams and a few more robots signed up.Comment
