As you can see the list is getting quite large with 30 robots signed up. I would like to ask if anyone that is on that list is not still planning to attend, could they please let me know so that we dont need to turn anyone away closer to the event.
There are still places available but dont leave it too late!!
I will be making a list of all the partnered teams as I get told who is with who, so could you please put on this thread your definate team mate and I will put you in the draw for the competition. Anyone who doesnt have a team mate or wants to wait untill the day we will draw the remaining robots from a hat to decide the final teams....so dont worry if you cant find a partner.
No Drumroll?
(Im guessing it just got missed out on the list-making - poor thing )
Just to let you know from that list, Snakebite isnt competing anymore (I emailed James about it a couple of weeks ago just so hes got it on record) but Drumroll will still be there. Spun the drum motors at full whack (on semi-flat batteries albeit) and belted them up to the pulleys a couple of days ago; should get some good spinnage out of it
This thread brings back memories of a thread a year or two ago that went on for 100 or so posts without archiving - hope this one archives soon (86th post on this page) cos my scrolly finger hurts
Due to the fact ive just righten off myself and my car (done a Danby) i doubt ill be able to get 360 finished in time, ill still attend and bring a few components along to stop people guessing.
