Am just sitting on the train on the way home. Just wanted to say well done to everyone involved - Ive never seen a standing ovation at an event before but thats exactly what we had at the end of the last show Sunday.
Had a couple of people come up to me after the show saying theyd been to a few events in the UK but had never seen anything like this before !
Everyone worked hard and the effort really showed in the appreciation of the audience.
This was definately the best our robots have ever performed.
Thanks to Litte Hitter for letting us borrow their tx for the final (we left splashs tx at home becuase we never thought we would need to fight all 3 at once). Also thanks to Sally from St Agro for driving Splash!
Absolutely top notch event, many thanks to the Robots Live crew for putting it on and making it so enjoyable to attend.
The best arena we have ever been in including Robot Wars. Sally hopes youll take the magnet out of the pit for next time though.
Thats weird - St Agro drove down the pit at this event (at least Im assuming it did from your pit magnet comment Terry ) at the same time as they drove down the pit in Heat 10 of Series 6 on Sky One on Sunday
Another fantastic event which I think everyone enjoyed (especially the local Kronic fans in the crowd). Thanks to everyone for making this a very special event for me, and an extra special thanks to my dad (John Lang) for helping keep Terrorhurtz and Behemoth running by doung a 40 mile round trip to make soma spare parts for them. Looking forward to the next event
Just a note to say a big thank you to the Robots Live crew and the other robot teams for there support and help in keeping The Saint going. I hope I can keep the hammer on the robot the next time! The whole event was very enjoyable Zack my son was in his element, again thanks to all and I hope to make the next show.
First we would like to say a big thank you to all the roboteers who attended, we know it was a long way for you to travel and it is very much appreciated. Great night on Saturday, with poor Harold having to keep the supply of burgers and hotdogs going. Great to see some new faces and old ones we€™ve not seen for ages.
Well done to Skink and Big Brother, just shows the veterans have still got what its takes. Big thanks to the crew, and everybody else that helped with the arena. Upgrades and preparations are already underway for Hemel Hempstead, and we hope to see you there.
I had a really good time and thanks to the Youngs for suplying so much. Mark for destroying drill motors then giving me some to replace the chucks.
Red Dave was a laugh. Didnt work even close to as good as I had hoped. Oh well at least it was very shiny
Here is a vid of the 6kg red daves final curtan.

Thanks for that marco, thats a great video, do you mind if I link it from my website ? Its the only video with HA working in it (even though it got launched by LF and drove down the pit)
Here are some emails we have had from some of the public who attended the event, you are the guys who make the show, so we thought we would post them here:

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to let you know how much my son (William - Aged 10) enjoyed your event in Exeter.
He has been a Robot Wars fan since the age of 5 and has seen every series, has got every toy and has read every book and magazine.
He was overjoyed when a friend invited him to the Exeter event and had a fantastic time.
Thanks again.
Nick & William Todd
P.S. I have subscribed to the newsletter and are eagerly waiting for any news of future local events.
