Mentorn, on their website, describe Robot Wars as a long running hit. This does not mean that there is anything at all in the pipeline but its a fact that Series 6 & 7 are still currently running on Sci-Fi and Jetix respectively.

Though theyd need to buy the rights off Alan Partridge first, he went insane and bought the rights to k-9 in the last series

Back to the topic, the fact that this whole thing is being a secret surely leans against a possible return....what benifit would whoever is making a new series have from keeping it from the roboteers, for one.

Although theres the possibility that people know about it and are keeping schtum for legal reasons/contracts of silence etc.
But again, what would the point of that be?
