    Im sure some of you have noticed that Woody has been posting in tons of the threads all over this forum helping people... from information on sprockets and LAs and wiring... all the way down to looking on Ebay to stuff for people... sooo , any questions about Robots, Bits, Part,s or event about life, just ask Woody here and im sure he will answer. LOL!!!

        Woody what gearing should i use on the bosh 400s i got the 12v ones run at 24v to a 10 ins wheel ????????

                  Pete, ask Iron Awe what gearing they used for the bosch 400s. Then dont use it, according to Ian Watts its probably the reason why their roboteq and wotty have blown up.

                    12 to 1 is my guess so thats where im going unless ........... anyone has any thoughts on this .. as for working it out 12 to 1 sounds good to me

                      @ 24 volts ratios are........assuming summat like 6,400 rpm

                      19.04 to 1 for 10 mph
                      15.867 to 1 for 12 mph
                      12.694 to 1 for 15 mph

                          Thats not to say youll have the amps etc to run that 12-1 ratio.
