      polycarb
I hope they are up to it. Only one way to find out really isnt it

      *edit*

Infact im going to be bold and say surely they can handle it. If behmoth can run on cnc made polycarb sprocket then surely my polycarb motor mounts should be fine.

i made that test frame i made self right. its a very poor self right but i thought it was going to be impossible. the rams are only 16 bore 50 stroke and its only abit of 4mm pipe direct to the valve from the compressor.

i have been having a play with some stuff again. got a 40bore 125stroke ram and made a crushing spike to crush random stuff i can find. how i have it set up what do u think it will crush at about 70 psi and about 140 psi. its untested at the moment i need to make some sort of rose joint to attatch the ram to my spike.

what are the washers like that come with the wheels from ewan?

didnt get any with mine so i didnt know if they were specially made or just a standard penny washer, with the left handed thread screw having the taper near the head i didnt know if it was a countersunk washer or somthing.

                Cheers.

Many apologies Tom, Ive been short recently. Theyre just standard heavy duty (reasonably thick) 6mm washers to help retain the wheels with a reverse threaded screw (put a washer under screw head).

imma add drive to that test frame i made. i need the cheapest radio gear possible with tx and rx + batteries and charger. its going to use servos and microswitches as i want to have as little cash in it as possible, needs to be able to controll drive + flipper so if anybody knows of one drop a message. i dont care if its 40mhz or not it wont be going into combat just need any old 4ch+ radio gear.

the robot test frame with flipper + motors stands me at 8 quid so far

Rain was well gud today. i got the day off work cos the workshop was flooded, it was a day off but didnt give me the chance to work on my bot, leeds ringroad was flooded and load of cars broken down in the water there were loads lads pusing all the cars out of the water. it was above waist hight. my dad and his mate broke down in the water so me and david went over in my dads truck and my dad got in the truck and drove straight through the flood and towed my dads mates car away. suppose its handy having a 4x4 pickup jacked up abit. anyone else get a bit of a flood?

Just a load of sodden roads and cars driving by eager to splash you in Bristol! Oh the joys of living in a rather hilly town.
