Mad Matt, B.O.C. also did a couple of songs that were co written by M. Moorecock, the writer of the Elric books. They were Black Blade and Veteran of the psyhic wars.
They also did a song that I would think was played all over the USA last Wed (3rd) GODZILLA.
That is as it was his 50th birthday(50 years since the first film was released in Japan.)

Massive fan of most rock and metal music, such as Linkin Park, CKY and Sum 41, but Im a big fan of the old guitaur masters like Queen, Def leppard, Aerosmith and Lynard Skynard (sp ?)

Lynard Skynard. Now theres a name i havent heard for a long time. A guy i used to work with about 4 years ago played me some of his stuff. Quite enjoyed his music although i have not heard anything from him since then.

Anybody else seen Les Miserables, the music is great. If you get a chance to see it make the effort.

Now, you may call me a dinosaur, but most of these so called rock groups around today are rank amatures compared to the truly great rock bands of the 60s and 70s.
I mean, how can you compare some of this modern c**p to something like Deep purples Smoke On The Water and Child In Time, Pink Floyds Breath In The Air and The Great Gig In The Sky. Or if your taste is little softer, Fleetwood Macs Rhiannon or Queens Bohemian Rhapsody... No contest!!
Dont get me wrong here, there are some very talented artists around at the moment in various styles of music, and I will very happily listen to most of it (with one or two exeptions.)
But when it comes to ROCK you cant beat the Old School!

I personly think The Darkness are rubbish.

I used to like them, before they tried to be all cocky and think their own the world.

Thats the whole point of the joke. Youre not old enough to remember Yes and ELP because The Darkness have taken delusions of grandeur from them as well.

BTW I love the profile pic. I wonder what would have happened if Paul Merton had planned the invasion of Prussia?

The Darkness are too much like Queen.

You should see my cd collection, I get all the old classic albums, because 60+% of new music is rubbish.

Personally, I dont mind that the Darkness are too much like Queen, cos I like Queen as well so it all works out . It may be true that they and many others cannot emulate the great successes of the oldies, but it is a welcome break from the recent run of manufactured pop.

                            Worst thing of manufactured pop...

I lost a bet that Girls Aloud wouldnt survive to the 2nd album.

Speaking of manufactured pop, I saw Heresay in McDonalds the other day. They got my order wrong though
