Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On

Its not that...its just that Im often busy, and/or dont have enough inspiration to write them down. Besides, Hypothetically written fights may mean questionable results.

I wasnt pressurizing him at all, I was merley stating that the fights were taking a long time, and I thought it would just go easier for Chris to do these hypothetically and I dont think it would hurt this any since we technically arent participating, but he dosent, and thats fine with me. Read before you critize people, Tim.

Since my coursework is kinda starting to get the better of me, maybe Tonys right. Instead of writing them out fully, Ill be writing the rest of the battles as if I were describing them to someone else. Soz for the inconvienience, but I really am pushed for time.

KAT 3 VS KING B POWERWORKS

House Robots: Sgt Bash and Sir Killalot.

As the two robots charged at each other, King B Powerworks kept driving up Kat 3s wedge. Kat 3 swung its axe, but the King was in the wrong place for the axe to have an effect, and it only knocked King B Powerworks off its body frame. King B Powerworks turned around and came in for another attack, but Kat 3 got into a more decent position and hit King B Powerworks bodyshell with its axe, causing some damage...well, a little hole anyway. Kat 3 pushed King B into an ankle-grinder, and sparks flew. Then it let go of King B Powerworks. King B came in for another attack, but only drove up Kat 3s wedge again. Kat 3 hit King Bs body again, and caused another hole. This time, it pushed King B into Sir Killalot, who picked the King up and tossed it around the arena. King B survived, and spent some time running away from Kat 3. As a last attempt, it ran into Kat 3 again, but Kat 3 hit it one more time.

                        CEASE.

The judges decition sent Kat 3 easily through.

I hope thatll be good enough for you. I can write these easier.

I dont really believe this, but here I am again, posting on this dying (I get the sense it is anyway) forum, the final of this first All Stars clash...Bigger Brother vs Kat 3.

House Robots: Sir Killalot and Shunt.

                              3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

Well, I cant believe Im saying this, but let the fight begin. Bigger Brother may be the favourite...oh, but its Kat 3 getting the first hit in! The axe went straight into the armour of the Brother. It may be tough, but I think Kat 3 has the weapon strength to actually pull off a victory. Anyway, Kat 3 pulls the weapon out, allowing Bigger Brother to come forward and flip Kat 3. Kat 3 self-rights, but is flipped again by Bigger Brother. Kat self-rights yet again and runs away, I dont blame it. Bigger Brother gives chase...oh, hang on, Kat 3 just hit the pit release button. Are the team feeling THAT confident? I dont know, but they seem to be up to something. Bigger Brother flips Kat 3...ALMOST OUT OF THE ARENA! That was close. How many lives was that? But Kat 3 recovers...slams its axe into Bigger Brother again. Now it tries to pull Bigger Brother towards the pit. Bigger Brother pulls the other way. Its a tug of war here! Suddenly Bigger Brother breaks free...but charges straight into Sir Killalot! That wasnt a wise idea! Bigger Brother tries to flip the mighty monster but only ends up buckling the flipper. Killalot picks up Bigger Brother and parades it around the arena. Then with a nice little fling, Killalot throws Bigger Brother onto its back. Kat 3 moves forward to take advantage...no, I think it has already won! Bigger Brother isnt self-righting. I think the attempt to flip Sir Killalot has actually damaged its flipper (it has happened before). I think its all over! So does Kat 3! Theres the nudge that will get Bigger Brother towards the pit...and in it goes. Bigger Brother is out and Kat 3 moves on to the Grand Final.

                              CEASE!

Well, maybe I have inspiration now. Will I update? Youll see.

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On

Heres the inspiration ringing again. Im in full mood to finish this now. Well, Ive done most of the stats, I have to.

                                FROM BRAMFORD, IPSWICH; CHAOS 2
A real veteran, Chaos 2 is the grand champion of Wars 3 and 4; the ONLY robot to be able to defend its title. Its easy to see why as well. This small, nippy machine, powered by two lawn-mower engines, has one of the most feared weapon in the wars...a powerful CO2 powered flipper, capable of flipping a 5 litre oil can into the air. And to get a sense of HOW powerful it is, Chaos 2 was also the first robot to successfully flip another robot out of the arena. At 20 mph, its also one of the fastest robots in the competition, but at only 84 kilos, its easily pushed around, and the Chaos theory could soon cease to exist.

FROM LANGHEY MOOR IN COUNTY DURHAM; FIRESTORM 5
There have been many wedges in Robot Wars, but the most successful of the bunch has got to be this hot robot. Firestorm has been competing since War 3 (and its team had another robot the previous year), and has came 3rd on three occasions. Basically, its wedge shape powers under other robots, and its there that the REAL weapon comes into play, namely a powerful front hindged flipping arm, that can quite literally flip anything, AND I MEAN ANYTHING! Ask Mr Psycho, he found out personally how powerful that flipper was. If Firestorm DOES have a weakness, Id say that its the fact that it only has 2-wheel drive, so it doesnt push easily.

                                FROM OXFORD IN OXFORDSHIRE; TERRORHURTZ
Perhaps the most successful axe wielding robot of all, Terrorhurtz really does what it says on the tin. Its a terror, it hurts, GET USED TO IT! Terrorhurtz came a respectible 4th in War 6, but had to drop out of War 7 due to the team being unable to get it together in time. This almost trapezium shaped robot is polycarbonate armour, protected by the weapon, a HUGE double-headed axe, not for piercing, but for giving oppodents a heavy battering! Powerful, maybe, but Terrorhurtz is not really the most reliable of robots around.

FROM SOUTHAMPTON; THREE STEGS TO HEAVEN
This robot was a Grand finalist waaay back in Series 3 with Steg-O-Saw-Us. They returned with Steg 2 in Series 4, and this is their most recent machine. It may look a lot like Steg to begin with, what with the low slung, green, block-like body and all, but it becomes apparant that you dont want to get by the tail. Instead of spikes, it has a very nasty cutting blade that can quite literally shred pipe-lines. Its also very persistant, and invertable, but it isnt that reliable.

                                ROBOTEERS, STAND BY!

Booth 1: Chaos 2 and Terrorhurtz
Booth 2: Firestorm and 3 Stegs
House Robots: Mr Psycho and Shunt

                                3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

This should be interesting. Chaos 2 charges in right towards Firestorm, and flips it! Is it trying to copy the first flip out of the arena? No, Firestorm self-rights out of the way, but Chaos 2 gives chase. Firestorm gets underneath Chaos 2, but doesnt manage to flip it. Meanwhile, Terrorhurtz is bashing onto 3 Stegs to Heaven. The cutting blade is gnawing, but it is having no effect on the polycarbonate armour at all. The axe of Terrorhurtz, on the other hand, is battering the top of Stegs, with the little red plates falling off. Meanwhile, Firestorm and Chaos 2 are flipping each other back and forth. Firestorm suddenly flips Chaos 2 into Mr Psycho. Down comes the mighty hammer right onto Chaos 2s belly. Ouch! Chaos 2 self-rights, but gets hit on the head for its troubles. Meanwhile, Firestorm comes on the attack of 3 Stegs, flipping it...but is Stegs still moving? Im not too sure. Meanwhile Chaos 2 now attempts an attack on Terrorhurtz...which isnt a wise idea as Terrorhurtz starts pumbling Chaos 2! Crash! Smash! Chaos cant get under Terrorhurtzs low ground clearance. Meanwhile, Shunt is giving 3 Stegs a little nudge...I think 3 Stegs is immobilized. Refbot agrees with me and counts 3 Stegs out. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, youre gone! The steg became extinct. Meanwhile, Terrorhurtz and Firestorm are now ganging up on Chaos 2 here it would seem. Firestorm flips Chaos 2 again. Terrorhurtz gets to pummel Chaos underbelly. Shunt, meanwhile, pushes 3 Stegs onto the floor flipper. Who thinks dinosaurs cant fly? Watch this! 3 Stegs goes flying through the air and crashes down again. Terrorhurtz scoots ahead of it and presses the pit release button. Firestorm is edging Chaos 2 towards the pit, using its flipper to prevent the former double champion from self-righting. Its going to be a sorry end, as Chaos 2 is shoved into the pit.

                                CEASE!

Firestorm 5 and Terrorhurtz go through.
