    The NSTT: Other-weights

I€™m planning to hit on with the heavyweights over the next few weeks, but in the gap between the end of the heats and the start of the semi finals, I will run the other weight classes€™ qualifiers and in the gap between round 5 and 6, the other weight classes€™ semi-finals, and between round 6 and 7, the other weight classes€™ finals.

There will be 5 weight classes running, but the minimum number of entries needed for each class to run is 6.

    The weight classes

    Raptor-weight (6kg)[12 kg]
    Featherweight (12 kg) [24kg]
    Lightweight (25 kg) [50 kg]
    Middleweight (50 kg) [100 kg]
Classic Heavyweight (80 kg) [160 kg]

The wheeled weight is in the round brackets, and walker weight in the square brackets. No bonus for screws/tracks.

Standard UK stats please, the more the better.

    Extra Stuff

You didn€™t have to be in the main heavyweights to enter into the other-weights. You don€™t have to enter every weight class.

    Entries deadline
There is in theory unlimited entries allowed for each weight class, and so I€™m having a date deadline instead of the normal entries deadline. The entries have to be in by Saturday 23rd July at 11:59 BST. So even if you have reservations, no stats = no entry.

    The NSTT: Other-weights

    MW:
    Hell Fire

    Weight: 50kg
    Dimensions: 120x110x40cm
    Shape: low slung wedge
Weapons: Powerful pneumatic flipping arm that has a plate that runs the width of the front, that can throw 75kg 3 feet or so no problem, and can, flip 100kg, but not too high, and a rear Pussycat style Saw, that spins at 4000rpm, and has carbon tipped teeth to cope with titanium.
    Top Speed: 25mph
Transmission: a pair of Mag C40€™s on 24v NiMH€™s running through a really simple transmission, but a reliable one due to features to keep the chain on.
Amour: 4mm Ali and steel alloy and 2 mm of stainless steel on top
Strengths: Very manoeuvrable and fast, generally very easy to control
    Weakness: Exposed outer wheels
Ground Clearance: 0 at the front, 5cm at the back, varying from 0 to 4.5 at the sides (wedge goes up)
Turning Circle: 0cm (its turning is very nimble)
Notes: Hell Fire is extremely manoeuvrable because it has 2 sets of wheels on the same axle, meaning that it€™s incredibly stable, and can turn on a penny, and can still run even with outer wheels ripped off

    LW:
    Name: Hell Hound
    Weight: 25kg
    Dimensions (LxWxH): 60x50x30cm
Shape: scooped front, rectangular body, rounded back
Weapons: 2 conjoined Pincer type crushing jaws with a small hydraulic ram powering each, producing a 1 and 1/2 tonne crushing force
Colour: mainly black, but with Rotweiler features all over the body
    Speed: 15MPH
Transmission: a pair of Bosch 400€™s on 24v running through a simple 6:1 ratio gearbox
Armour:1mm stainless steel and 1mm Ali/steel alloy (tough enough for LWs)
Srimech: cable pulled legs from out the side (like a dog cocking his leg to do his business) and a cable pulled tail to self right when its on its head
GC: 0 at the scoop, 2mm the rest of the way
    Turning circle: 0cm
    Strengths: Power of weapon
Weakness: slow self righter (still effective mind)

    FW:
    Name: Hells Angel
    Weight: 12kg
    Dimensions: 59 x 45 x 15 cm
Shape: Scoop front, rectangle body, wedged rear end
Weapons: a car radiator fan motor powered axe, drilled for lightness, but with still a heavy axe head, with a wallop power of about 500kg
Transmission: Ali protected Challenger drill motors attached directly to the compound rubber wheels, which are studded with screws pointing out (like those on Chaos 2)
    Speed: 12 MPH
GC: 2mm all around, 0 at the scoop end
Srimech: The axe, the weight of which pulls it over so it cannot rest on its side. Make SURE you remember that.
Armour: 2.5mm mild steel on the sides, 2mm checker plate aluminium elsewhere
    Strengths: The axe
Weakness: the armour may not stand up to strong FW spinners, but should prove good enough

    RW:
    Hell Boy
    Weight: 6kg
    Dimensions: 30 x 30 x 10cm
Power: 2 x 9v Ni-cad packs supplying 2 of the Zeobot drill motors and wheels with 18v
Weapons: a pair of temprature treated steel spikes on the top corners of the front wedge and a rear 10cm diameter circular saw run by another zeobot drill motor. The saw runs at 4000rpm.
    Shape: Storm 2-like
    GC: 1.5mm all over
    Armour: 2mm steel all over
    Strengths: Powerful drive and weapon
    Weakness: thinnish armour

All my HWs are 100Kg, so Ill have to think up a new design

            Save me a spot.
All I know now is that I want Conundrum [Stats at http://www.stupoo2000.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/featherweights/database_conundrum.htmhttp://www.stupoo2000.pwp.blueyonder...undrum.htm]And I need some time to research some other realies, as I dont have any raptors/classics HWs as of now and If Im entering a tourny with one realie in a diffrent class, I feel I might as well enter that tourtament with all realies instead of having it diffrently balanced. [I bet you all NOBODY undersstood a word that just came out of my mouth ]

Its underneath the weight limit, so it counts.

                  No FW then Tony?

                          The NSTT: Other-weights

Well here is my first of two terrors

                          Name: KE (Kinetic Energy)
                          Motivation: 2WD
                          Speed: 14MPH
                          Weight: 12kg
                          Height: 90mm
                          Length: 480mm
                          Width: 420mm
Weapon: The weapon is an undercutting 300mm diameter 1.6kg flywheel powered by two OS .30 Rotary 49-PI Wankel Nitro motors @ 3000rpm. Each motor has a peak performance of 1.27BHP at 17000rpm and the relative information can be found here: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBY72&P=MLhttp://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXBY72&P=ML
The motors have a centrifugal clutch and starter motor added on to prevent any mysterious stalls. The blade sits 0-15mm (Adjustable) from the floor and is designed to go under an opponent and take out the wheels/tracks/legs. The weapon can be raised slightly to the full 15mm where it can then target the opponents armor or skirting. The flywheel is made out of 4mm Hardox 400 for durability.
Drive: 2 x 12v Dewalts running on 14.8v current limited to 80amps each.
Batteries: 1 x 14.8v 6000N Polyquest LiPoly Pack. Ultra Light, Ultra powerful. Has a continous rating of 90amps and peaks of 180amps. Information here: http://robotcombat.com/marketplace_lipoly-pq.htmlhttp://robotcombat.com/marketplace_lipoly-pq.html
Armor: Combination of the following, 3.25mm Hardox rear wedge & wheel guards, 3mm Polycarbonate with 1mm Stainless steel bonded together for the rest. Uses a very light 15mm x 15mm x 2mm box section chassis.
Notes: A miniature version of Mad Dog (http://buildersdb.com/botpics/719.jpghttp://buildersdb.com/botpics/719.jpg) and is invertible. Extremely deadly! Approach with FEAR!!!

mDU will be posted up later once I research the necessary components and finish the idea off.

                            The NSTT: Other-weights

I MIGHT enter, but Im not promising anything.

The stats for my featherweight (Ram-Raider), lightweight (Little Big Bot) and middleweight (Tom) should be found in the PTT.

My Raptorweight depends whether you allow static weapons or not. If yes, then Ill enter Matamata. If you dont, Ill have to think.

All my heavyweights are 100 kilos or near to it as well, so Ill also have to think.
